Chapter 12 - Tomb of the Eternal Knight

[Tomb of Eternal Knight(Dungeon) :-

  There was once a Legend, known for his creation of golems. He was a respected being who climbed the Myth Tower in search of knowledge and wisdom, but due to his excessive greed for research, he placed his hands on the forbidden arts.

He used his own comrades for his research and created an ultimate living golem. But the experiment didn't go as he intended and the golem itself become the reason for his end. It is said that It took two other legends and more than 50 epics to subdue the golem and kill it.

However, the body of the said golem was so powerful that neither the fire burn it nor did decompose in soil. Left with no choice, the two legends decided to store it's body in a Dungeon where no strong beings could enter to ensure its body is not misused.

As Shiva was reading the Dungeon info a message popped up from the system.

[Class quest :

You have found the Dungeon related to the fallen legend of the past, explore the Dungeon and clear it to complete the quest.

Difficulty:- A

Rewards:- A Class-Specific skill.]

It was a quest!

Not just any quest but a class quest.

Class quests are generally have something to do the user's class and clearing them would bring the user's class close to its completion.

But as Shiva was not aware of any of that, he just ignored that part and concentrated on something else.

'related to fallen legend of the past?'

There was no information on how it was related but from the dungeon info Shiva could guess the identity of the fallen legend of the past.

It would be either of the two legends who took down the golem or the one that created it.

For some reason Shiva was feeling that it was much likely to be the latter.

The fact that he got a class named <Crazy Soccesser> from the intervation of the fallen legend of the past made his doubt even more stronger.

But there was no use thinking about any of that as Shiva had little to do anything with it.

"Since there is a reward, there is no reason to refuse the quest. Its quite concerning that the difficulty is 'A' but who cares?"

All he cared is about the rewards.

Shiva moved towards the gate and the system began its job.

[Entering the Dungeon]

A blue light started to cover his body indicating the start of teliportation.

"It's my first time, so be gentle, dear system"

[Ewe...Gross!]

With the system expressing its disgust in form of the words, Shiva dissapeared from the entrance of the dungeon.

On another side of the portal, inside the dungeon.

Shiva's silholte appeared in the dungeon.

A Sharp pain invaded his mind as he wasn't used to dimenstional travel.

Shiva took two minutes to calm himslef and for his brain to catch up with the surrounding.

And when he finally looked up, what greeted him was a dimly lit large cave.

The cave was modified like some sort of a room and there were many different things spread throughout.

But what was peculiar was the stone statues standing on either sides of the cave.

Weirdly enough there was a blue name hovering above them.

[Stone golem lv. 15]

The number of golems in there was not just one or two, the whole cave was covered by them. 

But the golems were not attacking Shiva but was just standing there like statues.

[Tomb of the Eterenal Knight:-

  Clear condition - Answer the questions left by the two legends.

  Fail condition - Giving a wrong answer

  Rewards - Unknown]

"So I just have to answer some questions, there is nothing like fighting or something? it doesn't seem that difficult though"

Shiva inspected the whole room for anything dangerous, but there was nothing noticible in particular.

If anything there were golems of different types, a stone golem, a mud golem, a steel golem and so on...

However there was this one thing that caught his attention.

On the far end of the huge cave, there was a glass box with a person inside.

The body was in good condition, Shiva would have mistaken it for a sleeping man if he had not read the discription.

'A body that niether burns nor decomposes'

Shiva instantly realized that it was the golem sealed in this dungeon, the Eternal golem.

Except that, on the other sides, there were huge bookshelfs with many books and papers like things.

As Shiva was seeing all around a golem moved and came upfront.

Shiva immediately raised his defence and took out his spear.

But it did not do anything and just stood there.

After a second or two, the golems mouth opened in errie manner.

{What is the most important thing for a person }

Asked the golem.

Shiva looked at the process with wide eyes and was wondering what was happening when the system came for his rescue.

[please answer the question of golem]

[Every time you answer correctly, you will be given a reward based on your answer]

Shiva read the system's message and gave it a thumb up as if he was praising a good pet. 

'Good job, system'

Of course the system didn't answer for his reaction, so Shiva concentrated on the job at hand.

"For the person, the most important thing is he himself"

He answered confidently rising his chest.

If there was anything he had learned from animes and those fictional movies, it is that for a person, he himself is the most important person, everyone and everything came after that.

{....}

The Golem's expression didn;t change not did it say anything.

It just moved and got back to it's previous place.

The system announced his result instead.

"what....? Why is my answer wrong, give me an explanation"

Shiva demanded an explanation but the system did't seem to mind him as another golem moved and took the place where previous golem was standing.

{what do you think first came to existence, an egg or a chicken}

There was no time for Shiva to recover.

"....."

He was even having hard time to belive that there was such a qquestion.

[you have failed to give the correct answer, moving to next question]

The process continued, despite Shiva complainng to the system.

That golem got back and another one took its place.

{What is the answer for the question," (2+3-5/4÷56+23)*5/56}

[You have one minute to answer]

"2 plus... S 3 mini... S3 nooo... It's plus....."

[you have failed to answer, moving to next question]

"you fucker..... are you playing with me now"

{What do you think will...}

The next golem was asking a question when Shiva suddenly summoned a  skull and through it to its face,

Boom...

[Warning, you have attacked the golem  Lv. 15]

[The golem will now start to attack you]

The light in the eyes of the golem which was originally blue turned red and it started attacking him.

"Shit, what the hell"

Shiva backed off and summoned all his skeletons .

With addition of Ranga, a total of 7 skeletons with different kind of weapon appeared around the golem.

Some of the skeleton were carrying a metal pipe, some were holding a baseball bat and many other things.

Shiva ordered them to attack without furthor ado and casted his skill <Bone Embrace>.

Each of orc skeletons were level.8 and were as powerful as a common lv.5 monster.

And Since Shiva himself was in lv.6 , he could somhow able to maintain seven summons with the help of great regenration from <Undead Confedrate>.

May be due to the level difference between Shiva and the golem, it broke free from the shackle of bones after a few struggles but that alone was enough for the surrounding orc skeletons to rushed towards the golem.

And what followed after was the one-sided beating of the golem by the Skeletons.

The Skeletons dismantled the golems with their raw power and made up from the power difference in numbers.

Surprisingly other golems in the room didn't move and just stood there.

The poor golem who was moving its hand slowly was one-sidedly being beaten by the group.

After a little struggle, it collapsed on the ground with the system notification signing its end.

[you have killed lv. 15 golem]

But that was not the end.

[All experience gained will be given after the Dungeon clear]

"What again...?"
