Hearing that statement, the man’s expression unconsciously turned to disgust. "Huh, don’t compare me to trash like him."

The beautiful woman smiled meaningfully, then her gaze shifted forward.

A few minutes passed...

The taxi stopped in front of a large building. Ryu got out after paying extra.

He had already told the driver to wait around the parking area. He was going shopping and wouldn’t take long.

Of course, the driver agreed — he was paid extra. A hundred dollars, just for the drop-off at the mall. Later, he would get more.

Naturally, the driver didn’t refuse. He casually parked his car, while Ryu walked into the mall.

Without wasting time, Ryu headed straight to the phone store. He bought the most expensive phone with excellent performance.

After buying a five-thousand-dollar phone, Ryu went to the clothing center — he wanted to buy some casual outfits.

However, just as he stepped into the clothing store, his eyes unconsciously focused on a couple standing ahead.

Ryu’s hands clenched tightly. His eyes sharpened as he muttered softly, "Evelyn..."

The woman standing with the man in front of him was Ryu’s ex-girlfriend, Evelyn — the very person who had insulted and even framed him.

Ryu took a deep breath and ignored them. He stepped to the side, completely hiding his presence from the pair.

"Not yet..." Ryu knew it wasn’t the time for revenge. It wasn’t that he feared confrontation,

but he needed power to deal with the group behind them — the people supporting that couple.

Ryu stayed cautious. He chose a few clothes and went straight to the cashier, not wanting to linger in the area.

However, just as he was about to pay, the thing he disliked the most happened right before him.

"Eh, isn’t that the poor trash?" Evelyn’s tone was full of mockery, and her words pierced sharply.

The man beside her frowned for a moment before his expression returned to normal. "Oh, I didn’t expect to see you here, Trash."

Hearing those insults, Ryu immediately turned around. His gaze turned cold, and he spoke in a sharp, scornful tone.

"Oh, and who do we have here? The Little Bitch and the Little Bastard."

Evelyn and the man beside her froze. They were shocked that Ryu dared to insult them.

"You...!!" Evelyn looked furious. Her expression suddenly softened like a spoiled child’s as she gently held the man’s hand.

She threw him a seductive look and whispered softly, "Darling, that trash just insulted me..."

The man with Evelyn smiled faintly. "Don’t worry, I’ll deal with this guy."

Markus Dananta — the eldest son of the Dananta family. He was a surgeon at Kiran Hospital.

His position was that of a general surgery specialist, though he had gotten in through the back door and only showed up at the hospital for attendance’s sake.

The Dananta family was well-known — a family of great wealth and high standing, not easily offended.

Markus looked toward the store clerk. "Why are you letting a poor trash like him in? Do you think he can afford clothes here?"

The clerk froze, but Evelyn decided to pour more fuel onto the fire.

"My boyfriend is right — he’s nothing but trash and poor. I used to date him, and the only clothes he ever gave me were cheap ones from discount stores."

Evelyn said it mockingly, as if she had truly been wronged all this time.

The clerk went silent upon hearing that, glancing at Ryu, knowing she couldn’t decide on her own.

However, the senior clerk, wearing heavy makeup, spoke in a sneering tone. "Someone like you shouldn’t even be in this store!"

"Do you know this is a luxury boutique? Our fabrics are made from the finest materials — ones you can’t even touch!"

The senior clerk’s voice was loud, drawing the attention of many customers in the store.

Soon, the scene became a commotion as several people outside also gathered to watch the drama unfolding inside.

Ryu, however, remained silent, his cold gaze fixed on the two in front of him. He didn’t feel humiliated — in fact, he laughed inwardly.
