CHAPTER 84

The governor winked at Rica before leaving the cage, and she did not like it. She came to Gabe and said, “You must win and erase that ugly smile from the governor’s face!”

“I won’t just erase the smile but everything that’s positive in his expression,” Gabe frankly stated his mind.

“Good,” Rica looked at the tab in her hand. The bettors were going crazy. “Whoa… this is beyond anything I’ve ever expected.”

“What? Let me see,” Gabe tried to take a peek, but she turned the tablet’s screen off. “Hmph,” he acted like he didn’t care and then walked to the corner and sat down in the small chair.

Leher also sat in the opposite corner.

Time flew by pretty quickly, and Rica signaled them to get up as the time had come.

“Killing is not allowed,” Rica explained the rules. “You can do everything else. You will win if your opponent admits defeat, or you’re the last one standing. Are the rules clear?”
