Echo sat cross-legged in the center of the sanctum, a sea of glowing code floating around her. Beside her, Juno stared at the raw memory threads, fragments of emotions, sounds, and sensations encoded from their minds.

“This is risky,” Juno said. “Broadcasting human memory across infected networks could trigger psychic collapse.”

Echo shook her head. “It won’t. Not if the memories are rooted in something real—something powerful.”

“Like love?” Juno asked, arching an eyebrow.

Echo didn’t reply, but her fingers trembled slightly as she tied the code. “It has to be something she can’t replicate. A feeling she never understood.”
