Handy was shocked. His eyes widened completely. Fear gripped him, making it almost impossible to move or run.

The look in Gideon's eyes, which he had previously ignored, now filled him with overwhelming fear. He didn't know what had happened to him. The man had completely changed. He wasn't just more assertive, but he was staring at him like a monster.

"You won't be able to do that," Handy replied nervously. He kept backing away from Gideon.

Meanwhile, Gideon continued to approach, his gaze unblinking. He could even see the hardened expression on his face.

"You'll regret it if you do this," Handy tried to persuade him. "You know who my father is, right? He's the head of the White family; everyone knows him as an influential man."

"Just think what my father would do if you did this to his son." Handy tried to prepare Gideon mentally, thinking that the man would be afraid and submit to him.

"If you let me go, then I'll forgive you." Even in this desperate situation, Handy still acted very arrogant.

Meanwhile, Gideon seemed unconcerned. He stopped walking, which allowed Handy to breathe a sigh of relief. The man secretly sighed and grinned. He wondered if Gideon had considered his words.

"That's a good choice." Handy looked confident. He quickly straightened his shirt.

But Gideon still stared at him uncharacteristically. "How can you be so confident?" he grinned. "Do you think I'll be afraid?"

Handy's face paled again. He swallowed hard. "What do you mean? You should have considered my words."

This seemed truly odd. He usually pressured people with his father's position. But how could Gideon be completely unaffected by his words? Even the look in his eyes showed no fear.

Suddenly, Gideon raised his hand and gripped Handy's shoulder tightly.

“Arhhh!”

Handy felt excruciating pain. He not only felt his bones nearly breaking, but Gideon's hands felt like elephants resting on top of him. Over time, the pressure became so intense that Handy couldn't move. He felt like he was carrying several tons of weight on his shoulders.

“Get your hands off there,” he spoke breathlessly.

Gideon finally removed his hands from Handy's shoulders. This brought him a small sigh of relief. But suddenly, one of his hands was on Handy's right arm, twisting it mercilessly, causing the man to scream again.

“Aarrgghh!”

He felt his arm break. Even the sound of bones breaking could be heard clearly in his ears.

He couldn't move his arms anymore. Everything was so painful.

“What are you doing? You'll really regret it. I'll make your life miserable, damn it!” The man continued to scream in anger. Occasionally, he would scream again and throw his head back. The pain was excruciating.

Handy couldn't stay still. He had to leave immediately, or Gideon would do something even crazier.

He tried to find a way out, but Gideon's presence right in front of him prevented him from running.

With the last of his strength, he tried to push Gideon away. But it was futile.

Gideon grabbed Handy's leg, and with the same movement, he broke it.

Once again, the scream echoed, making the atmosphere of the old building tense.

The unbearable pain caused Handy to fall and become unconscious.

Gideon simply stared at him with a blank expression. He patted his hands to clean off the remaining stains. After that, he left them alone.

Gideon exited the old building and immediately walked to meet Paulus. He knew Paulus was waiting for him.

A short while later, Gideon arrived at the address Justin had given him. A large house, more like a palace. He stepped hesitantly, but his arrival was immediately greeted with much respect.

“Welcome, Master. The great master has been waiting for you.” Someone bowed before Gideon.

Gideon nodded. One of them helped Gideon inside and met with Paul.

He entered a large room. Paulus and Justin were already waiting for him.

Paul leaned back in his chair, while Justin stood behind him. Paulus looked at Gideon as he approached. "Sit down."

Gideon nodded. He immediately sat down across from Paulus. Several documents were already there.

"Look at all of that." Paulus glanced at the documents.

Gideon stared at the stacks of documents. Then he looked back at Paulus without saying anything.

Paul sighed. "All of this will be yours. And you will run all of this business. You can review it," Paulus explained.

Gideon began to pick up one of the documents. Several strings of large company names were neatly arranged. "Do all of this belong to the Webster family?"

Paul nodded firmly. He took his wine and took a sip.

Meanwhile, Gideon was still busy reading each of the company lists. His gaze focused on two familiar company names: White.inc and Wold Enterprise.

Wold Enterprise was the last company he applied for a job at and was rudely rejected. As for White.Inc, he knew it was owned by the Handy family.

Gideon showed them the two companies. Paulus immediately nodded his head. He understood before Gideon explained it.

"You can teach a lesson to those who have treated you unfairly."

Paul looked at Justin. The man immediately bowed. Then Paulus spoke, "Take him to that company. At the very least, Gideon needs to know a few things there."

"Those are all companies under Webster's henchmen," Paulus emphasized.

Gideon nodded his head. He accepted without hesitation. Of course, he didn't want those who were easily paid off by someone to remain and hang around his company.

Before Gideon left, Justin handed him a suit. "Master, you can change into more decent clothes."

Gideon looked at his appearance. He was far from handsome. So now he nodded his head. Without a word, Gideon quickly changed his clothes.

After finishing, Justin immediately led him to the car. Then, they immediately headed to one of the companies.

This time, their destination was White.inc. They arrived there in less than two hours. Justin opened the car door for him. Gideon immediately got out, and they entered the building.

Several people, noticing Justin's arrival, immediately greeted him.

Justin led Gideon to the top floor of the building. There, where the leadership was located.

Once they reached the top floor, Justin realized they might not have prepared a room for Gideon yet, so he looked at Gideon. "Master, I'll prepare a room for you. Could you give me a moment and wait here?"

Gideon nodded. "Okay. I'll wait."

Gideon immediately headed to the waiting chair. He let Justin pass him by. He took out his phone and started playing with it.

But not long after, a woman shouted at him. "What are you doing here?"

Gideon heard a familiar voice. And when he glanced over, he knew it was Jolie.

The woman was filled with surprise. But the next moment, she became furious. "Why are you here? Don't you know this is the boss's place?"

This time, Jolie looked at Gideon suspiciously. "Did you sneak in here? Oh my God, you must be trying to steal something!" she shouted hysterically.

But seeing Gideon's face right in front of him, he remembered who he was.The Gideon he recognized was his friend's son. He wasn't wrong about that, and he had more than a passing knowledge of them. He knew that his friend—Gideon's father—was poor.He had witnessed Gideon's father living in poverty and struggling so hard just to survive. It was impossible for parents like that to raise their son to such a great person; it sounded like a ridiculous and implausible fairy tale."No." He shook his head and smiled, trying to calm himself, taking Justin's words as a joke.Unlike Gideon, Justin was an important person he needed to deal with properly. She knew Justin as well as she did Gideon's background. Justin was a senior executive at White.Inc

How is someone like you here?"Jolie nodded in satisfaction. She smiled beside him, thinking that this time Gideon was truly finished. He wouldn't be able to act arrogantly in front of William, who held power at White.Inc Corp.Sensing that Gideon's anger wasn't enough, Jolie added further spice to it, "I've already told him that, sir, but this man is arrogant and still sitting there. He truly has no sense of self."William's gaze sharpened, focused on Gideon. Jolie's words rang true because even now, Gideon was sitting cross-legged, unassumingly in front of her, who held power there. "Get your feet out of there right now!" the man said firmly. But Gideon didn't budge. He remained where he was, ignoring William's instructions."Who exactly are you, and why did you come into this place? Who gave you permission to come?" The man questione

Normally, he never ignored her, acted coldly toward her, or even contradicted her.The Gideon she knew was a cowardly man who obeyed whatever she said, lacking the courage to challenge or even assert his opinion in their relationship. He was someone she could easily control; everyone who knew him would agree that he was a hopeless nerd who wouldn't fight back even when bullied. But in front of her, he had just casually replied to her, sounding defiant and deeply touching her ego.Her brow furrowed deeply, her eyes glaring. “You!” Her voice choked, her emotions rising rapidly. “Are you belittling my words?!”Others might be able to look down on her, those superior to her might have reason to look down on her, though she still wouldn't accept it.
