CHAPTER ONE: THE FALL

The wind blew aggressively, the sky turning darker and the growls sounded everywhere, making the whole scenery look scary.

Birds were singing in the dry trees and crickets kept making annoying sounds as they made their way into their hiding places. Among this chaos were beings in white, running with fear on their faces.

"Kerilua, wait!" A melodious voice sounded in the background but none of the runners waited to listen or look back as everyone tried to outrun another.

"We are angels, we shouldn't do this!" Another voice resounded but the result was still the same.

The fear gripping the hearts of the angels was so much that none of them cared about their status anymore and just wanted to escape. Amid this survival race, a heart-rending screech shook the land, causing everyone to fall on their knees.

The angels had their hands on their ears as they looked around, some were wailing while some were trying to fight the power taking over their bodies and some were shivering involuntarily.

"He is here!" One of the angels screamed as he covered his ears with fear written on his face.

The word "He" was something they all knew about and his presence made them fear the worst. Their eyes stung with tears as most of them suddenly lost all hope of survival and just sat there, waiting for their death.

"We can attack him together. We can do something to him together... There is something we can do." A female angel whispered, thanks to their sensitive ears which were able to pick on her words but without turning to face her, they all hissed and lowered their heads.

They knew more than anyone that they weren't a match for him and they would never be a match for him.

"You all, sinners! Do you think you can escape from the Supreme being like that? It's over for you the moment I catch you, hahaha" A deep mind wrenching voice came from far away and it settled in their souls, shattering the last thread of hope they had in them.

The voice was far, so far from them that they knew the owner of the voice was thousands of miles away from them but none of them could stand up to even try to escape before they got to them because the moment they heard his voice, they knew he already caught them and there was no way out for them again.

"We only have a few minutes to decide. He will get here soon and it will be over for us. We need to do something!" An Angel, who had tried his best to stay silent finally blurted out after he felt death got so close to him.

The rest of the angels were still scared and none of them replied to him just as he expected.

Minutes later, The sky suddenly turned dark, the leaves that were flying around settled down, and the frogs, birds, crickets and all animals around scurried away, hiding their tails behind their legs but in the middle of this whole ordeal was a ray of light that shone so bright, it was blinding.

The angels knew what had come upon them and they all bowed until the light settled down, showing a man in a white garment. He was tall, about 6'5 feet tall with a skin as smooth as silk... He was flawless.

What stood out the most about him was his unnaturally handsome face, his perfectly structured nose, his plump full lips and his eyes that kept changing colours with each blink. He was the epitome of beauty and no one would believe in his existence until they saw him up close.

The aura he emitted was so powerful it was gripping...

He looked at the angels on the ground and shook his head "You should have expected this the moment you decided to run away from the cell. What were you thinking then? You committed horrendous sins and still want to escape punishment?" He questioned as he took a step backwards, his hands that were completely covered by the white garment wrapped around a cane.

He wasn't old or to be precise, he didn't look old so probably the cane was just part of his fashion sense but it refused to decrease his perfectly handsome looks in any way. He was strikingly beautiful and dangerous at the same time as he made his way toward the closest angel and stood in front of him.

"You killed a fellow angel because you were envious. Don't you think you need to be punished?" He asked the angel coldly.

The angel nodded, he was already sweating hard as he tried to lower his head as low as he could, "I... I ... should..." He replied.

"The Supreme being wants you all to return to the prison but I don't think that's the case, because you need to die. You all need to die and I'm killing you right here!" He yelled as he grabbed the neck of the angel and the next second, the angel fell lifeless to the ground, his body turning into ashes as it blew away into nothingness.

The angels all panicked, scared and helpless. He was moving toward them and killing them one by one but none of them could stop him until an angel stood up and started laughing, attracting his attention.

"You caused this to yourself, Kabbus! Even if we were to die here today, you need to die with us because the dead angels left you with a gift. Hahahahaha!" The angel mocked as he continued laughing.

Kabbus was confused but that was momentarily as he knew there was no one powerful enough to face or kill him so he wasn't bothered until he felt the air change and before he knew it, he felt a presence behind him.

Turning around, he frowned when he saw the Supreme witch behind him "What do you think you are doing here, Orilas? Ain't you scared of death?" Kabbus questioned with a deadly smile on his face as he wrapped his arms around himself.

Orilas laughed, she turned to look at the angels who were all cutting their wrists while muttering some incoherent words and her laugh turned hysterical. "Today is the end of you, Kabbus. You lost everything the moment you went against the Supreme being and decided to kill the criminals, so right now, even the Supreme being won't save you."

Orilas moved around in circles for a few seconds, her hands on her chest as she closed her eyes gently "It's over for you, Kabbus." She whispered.

Kabbus was finding it hard to believe whatever was happening around him as it wasn't his first time killing criminals and the Supreme being never for once turned his back on him before. He was the Supreme being right hand man and it had always been like that so what was going on?

He was still on that thought when he felt his body disintegrating and his face turned pale. He tried to stop it but he felt powerless and the last thing he saw was the victorious smile on the face of the Supreme witch and the angels before he closed his eyes in death.

Fred couldn't believe his ears as he looked at Kabbus. His curled-up body straightened up, and he turned around, seemingly searching for who Kabbus was talking to. "Are you talking to me?" He asked with confusion on his face. Kabbus frowned, he couldn't help but wonder if something was wrong with Fred. "Martins, how much did you beat him? He doesn't seem to be alright," He whispered, looking at Martins, whose gaze was still on him. Martins' eyes twitched and he smiled, "He's just too weak. A single punch was all it took for him to lose his mind," He replied, his voice filled with mockery. Fred gritted his teeth; no matter how low the boys' voices were, he was still able to hear them, and that annoyed him to the core. "Hey, Punk. Who do you think you are?!" He yelled. "Martins could be proud, taking into consideration his strength but you? You are only in the 5th stage of the body-strengthening realm and you think you can talk in front of me? Ain't you being too cocky?" Fred mocked

Kabbus took the lesson seriously, his hands kept moving smoothly. His face was as calm as a lake, sweat dripping, and even his eye lashes were wet, but that still didn't stop him. "He's done it a thousand times already. What's he doing?" Lith asked, not understanding what was going on. They were all shocked when they saw the way Kabbus practiced swiftly. Although basic styles weren't hard to learn, it was not completely easy either, so seeing Kabbus learn it within a few hours was quite surprising. Especially when most of them spent a month to perfect it!He really made them feel ashamed of themselves but then again, what was he still doing?"Isn't he tired?" Athos also asked. "I don't think so," Martins had an amusing smile on his face as he replied. "He's trying to break through to the late stage. I mean, he wants to perfect it to the max," He explained and the rest gasped. Lith shook his head as he gawked, "Per... perfect it? Has he gone nuts? Why would he waste his time on suc

"What's this?" He couldn't help but ask. He raised his hand and tapped on the word Slumber but it only brought out error, confusing him more. 'Why am I half vampire again? I'm supposed to be a full one, why does it look like I went back to the beginning? If that's the case, then what's these powers I feel in me? I feel a lot stronger than before and my stats are in thousands too. • CHAPTER 27: EVOLUTION!

"Why did you guys decide to buy such a useless sword?" Lith was surprised. He clearly heard the shop owner explain to them that the sword was useless but Martins and Kabbus still decided to buy it. Especially Kabbus who had been staring at the sword since they left the shop as if it was a treasure he couldn't afford to part with. "I can unsheate it," Kabbus replied without moving his eyes from the sword. The boys were surprised, except Martins who had a small smile on his face. "I saw you unsheathed it earlier." He said out loud. Only then did Kabbus raise his head. He looked at Martins and gave a slight nod before he returned his attention to the sword. "Can you show me?" Lith asked excitedly. A sword that had never left its scabbard for years finally came out when it got to Kabbus's hands, Lith was beyond stunned! Kabbus was about to reply when Martins suddenly came to a stop and held his hand, stopping him too. "Let's get the ring here. It's cheaper than the Sect

"You could have just said it's a secret," He mumbled and rolled his eyes. Kabbus shook his head but didn't say a word. He already told the truth so it was only left for the boys to believe him. He wasn't planning to hide his vampire side from the guys but he wouldn't show them either... He left it to them to find out themselves and they could do whatever they wanted then. Kabbus never believed he was evil just because he was a vampire and even if Vampires were evil, he planned never to do evil.
