Chp 88 - Apologise, Rodriguez
Jason could feel himself choking as he tried to claw his way back to consciousness. He struggled for a while before he finally shot up with a gasp. His hand flew to his throat again panic before he looked around and his breathing changed in relief. His dilated pupils gradually changed to the regular soulful black. The panic had gone out of it.

“What the fuck was that?” he asked the empty room.

He was bewildered as to the reason for the dream he just had. He stood up and went to the window. He clicked on the curtain-opening button and the heavy, patterned burgundy curtains slowly rolled back.

The sight of the approaching dawn taking over the darkened sky helped to calm him down more. As he stood there trying to get his jumpy system back under control, the sky slowly changed from the faint ashy colour borne of the day sneaking up on the night. It changed gradually and soon, the first glorious tinge of the day took over the sky, dominating in its most refreshing way.
