People gathered in one of the largest rooms there.

David—along with his wife and son—stood proudly beside Tiffany, smiling and waving to family members who applauded enthusiastically for him.

He appeared to relish the warm welcome from his extended family, whom he had left years ago.

Tiffany, as the leader of the Robertson family, had just praised him before them all.

She referred to David as a man born to be a star who would make the Robertson family business empire shine brightly again, much like when it was led by Peter, her late husband.

Of course, not everyone present was pleased with the lavish reception given to David.

Esther was among those who viewed it as excessive.
