Two Different Personas

Patrick turned his body ninety degrees, gazing at his daughter and then sighing.

He glanced briefly at Tony. Tony tried to guess what the charismatic man wanted to say to him.

"Michelle, you don't even know him yet. If you get to know him, I'm sure your opinion of him will change," Patrick said, looking at Michelle.

"No, Dad! I've met many men, and I know what kind of person he is. I'd rather die than be his wife!" Michelle retorted.

Patrick shook his head. He could already predict his daughter's reaction.

Michelle, as his only child, had been quite pampered since childhood, and one of the negative effects was that she felt she could say anything she wanted when she was angry, regardless of the situation.

And years of studying in the United States seemed to have made her bolder.

Unfortunately, Patrick couldn't handle his daughter's defiance sternly. It would only push away Michelle, who was now an adult woman.
