Chapter fourteen

We both laughed as we entered the popular KFC restaurant. Brian looked at me continuously and asked, "What?" I asked, looking at his face. "You know you can speak if you are trying to tell me something, right?" I looked at him as I made my way towards the front of the table. Brian walked closer and whispered into my ears. I smiled and looked at him. "All the more reason we need to sit down and order our food," I replied, placing an order for our lunch.

We went back to the table and sat down. I caught Flora looking at me, and I laughed. "I am not going to order the whole restaurant, darling." I said it with a smile, and everyone looked at me.

" What? Isn't that the guy who ordered the whole boutique the last time we went shopping?" A lady spoke silently into the ears of her boyfriend, and I laughed. They both looked at me and wondered who I was.
