“How about my sister?” Mattheo turned to Mark, who was sitting next to him.

The middle-aged man, who had been staring out the window and watching the road calmly, turned to him. “Do you want to know the results of her examination?”

Mattheo nodded. Due to their previous agreement, Mattheo left the hospital and headed to the Spencer family residence while Elodi remained at the hospital for further observation.

Mark's calm demeanor turned serious, his shoulders straightened, and his expression questioned something as he stared intently at Mattheo. "The overall test results are not out yet.

But the cancer virus in his blood has stopped spreading.”

Mattheo's expression relaxed, and his jawline returned to normal. He looked quite relieved. “Is there a possibility that the virus will return in his blood?”

He was quite worried about the possibility of the cancer virus reappearing. Even though he had been declared cured, there were quite a few cancer patients who had been declared cured but then relapsed, which made him anxious.

Mark nodded lightly. “So far, we can't be sure of the likelihood.” The possibility of the disease reappearing was still a risk. “But recovering from the final stage is almost impossible. But you did save her at that stage of death.”

He stared intently at Mattheo, curious to know how Mattheo had stopped Elodi from dying. Elodi was clearly on the verge of death at that time, and even surviving for a few months seemed impossible when he looked at her medical records.

But today, Mark discovered something amazing that left him speechless. That was why he had rushed to see Mattheo today, to find out more about his abilities and to tell Mattheo what he had discovered.

“Your abilities are already at a very high level, sir Mattheo.” He assured him, in case Mattheo had any doubts about it.

Mattheo looked away. He sat with his shoulders leaning back against the comfortable Bentley seat. “I'm still not sure about what happened.”

He never knew he was capable of such healing techniques. In his entire life, he had hardly ever come into contact with medicine, but yesterday, suddenly, it was as if his brain had stored a large database of ancient medical knowledge that had been passed down from his ancestors.

Mark Spencer smiled. “That's why I asked for a condition. I will guide you to learn more about the March Burgler family's medicine. You don't need to worry. Right now, we just need to get started.”

Mattheo glanced at him silently. The middle-aged man sitting next to him seemed to be enjoying his plan.

He wanted to ask more about what the plan was, but then he changed his mind. The silence seemed to ask him to calm down as the Bentley they were riding in sped along.

“We're here, sir.” Pierre, Mark's aide, opened the door for them.

As soon as he got out of the car, Mattheo saw a magnificent building right in front of him. The main door of the building was opened by a servant wearing a white uniform, who smiled and bowed politely as Mark and Mattheo walked behind him, looking around in awe.

They entered the innermost part of the house and stopped when they reached the end of a flight of stairs.

Mark glanced at Mattheo, who was patiently following him without saying much. “Here, this is where we'll start.”

The creaking sound of an old door was heard as Mark opened a space under the floor of his house, hidden behind a large bookshelf that would never have been noticed as a door if not looked at closely. The smell of old paper and damp wood wafted out as Mark invited Mattheo to enter first.

Mattheo stopped a few steps from the doorway. He looked back at Mark hesitantly. “What is this place?”

Mark closed the door and walked past Mattheo. "This is a place that even my own children don't know about. A place where the secrets of March Burgler are still safely stored, waiting for his descendants to reopen those records."

Mattheo frowned, his legs feeling heavier than usual as he stepped inside. His heart pounded nervously as he realized he was about to face something he had never expected before.

The room was like a library, only not as well maintained as the main house. Old books lined the shelves from floor to ceiling, with glass cabinets holding various strange tools that did not look like modern medical equipment.

Mark pulled a book from the shelf and placed it on the long wooden table. The cover was dark red, almost black. “This is the first book you must read. It was written by one of the members of the March Burglars, seventy years ago.”

This was long before Mattheo was born, and even his father, who was now deceased, had not yet been born at that time. So it was understandable why his father did not know about the existence of this book that had been declared missing.

Mattheo walked slowly toward the table and touched the cover. His fingers felt something familiar, even though he was sure he had never seen the book before.

“I never knew about this book. How did you get it?” he asked, looking at Mark questioningly. He was still unsure about what Mark wanted him to do.

The man's smile reappeared faintly. "It's a long story, but it's true that the book was lost along with the fall of the March Burglar family's reputation seventy years ago, right when your great-grandfather was declared dead. After that, the family line seemed to be erased, though I know your father is a famous politician with the March family name. But I never suspected that he was a March Burglar, because he showed no interest in the medical world like the March Burglars I knew.“

Mark stared at him intensely. ”Maybe I'm not." Even though his father reminded him who they were, he could not confirm that he was really a March Burglar with an impressive history in medicine.

He had never directly met his ancestors, who were said to be experts, nor had he ever had any contact with the medical world.

Mark didn't answer right away. He looked at Mattheo calculatingly. "I know it's you, because when you helped your sister in the hospital room yesterday, I saw a symbol on her body. A white light with a specific pattern, coming out of the pressure point you activated. The same symbol as the one in this book, don't you recognize it?“

He stared at him, clearly remembering the shape of the symbol that appeared in his memory and appeared right on Elodi's back yesterday. Theo nodded. ”I remember it." His eyes shifted to the book in his hands.

Mattheo held his breath. He opened the first page, and his eyes immediately landed on an image of a human body covered in delicate, star-like points. Some were marked with red circles and lines connecting them.

Mark sat on a long chair beside the table. “Now, try to find the liver point. Position number twenty-three. We’ll see how much you know about the medical world you’ve never learned before."

Mattheo turned the page and, without hesitation, pointed to a small dot below his right rib. “Here.”

Mark narrowed his eyes. “Are you sure?”

“Light pressure here will stimulate the primary nerve point. But it must be followed by coordinated breathing so that the energy is not blocked.”

The words came out of Mattheo's mouth without him thinking. Even he was silent afterwards. Mattheo looked confused and surprised.

“I... don't know why I know that.”

Mark said nothing. He took an old manual scanner and placed it in front of Mattheo. "Try using this. Scan your right wrist. Then tell me which pressure feels unstable.“

Mattheo pressed the device against his skin, and with slow movements, he touched several points around his pulse. At a certain point, he stopped and pressed a little harder. ”Here. My blood flow is blocked. Maybe it's because using the cane puts weight on my right side."

Mark took a deep breath. He looked at him in awe and smiled. “I’ve been waiting to meet the March bloodline for a long time, and you’ve made me both relieved and satisfied. You know, even my best student needed two months to find that spot.”

Mattheo looked at him. “What does all that mean?

Mark stood up and faced a small window in the high wall. “It means that March Burgler's blood not only inherits a name, but also memories. That knowledge is not passed down through books, but through the body. You remember it instinctively.”

“But before, I couldn't do anything. This just happened to me suddenly.” He hoped someone could explain it to him.

Mattheo still didn't fully understand, but there was a strange vibration in his chest. Like a piece of a puzzle starting to come together.

Mark stared silently at the young man’s confusion and frustration. “Perhaps you didn’t inherit it through experience. But the flow in your blood and the heirloom around your neck activated that ability. In a sense, that object was reawakened and transmitted the message that had been sealed within it.”

Mattheo stared at the pendant around his neck. It was the object that had emitted the light and caused the explosion of information to flow through his head earlier.

“Your ability is unusual, Mattheo. Even your grandfather, who was known as the most talented of his generation, never showed signs of memory activation like this.” Mark stared at him intently. "That's why I want to train you.

In secret.“

”Why?“ He didn't understand the reason.

”Because the world is not ready to accept this knowledge. And more than that.“ The man fell silent, deep in thought. ”There are still many people who will hunt you down if they know that the March Burgler line is still alive." He was very careful about this.

Mattheo lowered his head. His breathing was heavy.

“I… don’t know if I can do all of this.” He was unsure, still processing everything. His resolve was only to heal his sister that day, and he hadn’t thought about anything else.

Mark patted him on the shoulder. “You don't need to burden yourself. But one thing is certain. You have to start walking.”

Mattheo looked at the old book once more. Then he nodded slowly. “If I study it well, is it possible for me to cure the paralysis in my legs?”

His condition worsened. A severe pain in his leg muscles struck him just as Elodi was being brought back to her room. At that moment, Mattheo collapsed, clutching his leg in agony, and from that moment on, his left leg was declared completely paralyzed.
