This time, Fang An did not attempt to evade the attack. In an instant, he unsheathed the Heavenly Sword and slashed fiercely, diverting the strike away from him.

A massive tree shuddered and crashed to the ground as the redirected attack struck it. The explosion echoed loudly, followed by the rumble of falling wood that carried far into the night.

Fang An had been forced to act—he could not allow more victims to fall from those wild, mysterious attacks.

Meanwhile, A Fu was equally shaken by the sudden strike aimed at the two of them. After leaping and landing on the branch of a smaller tree, the old man looked down in sorrow at the dozens of Dark Prince’s followers crushed beneath the falling wood.

His gaze then shifted when he saw a bluish light glowing brightly from atop another tree.

“You will pay for this!” Fang An’s body shot downward at great speed toward the tree where the mysterious attacker was hiding.

But the rice had already turned to porridge. He had no choice but to finish what he had started, even if it cost him his life. Especially now that his fellow disciple had discovered his treachery—Cheng Yu would never let him go.“If you want to share the same fate as Mo Lin, then come forward!” he shouted, forcing courage into his voice.Cheng Yu walked forward with a faint smile on his lips. Suddenly, both his hands were engulfed in blazing flames.“If it’s the Death Flame Strike you wish to pit against me, then let us do it! I know you’ve always despised the fact that my martial prowess has long surpassed yours, but I let it pass because you were my senior brother. Tonight, however, there is no bond of brotherhood left between us. Tonight, I will gladly teach you a painful lesson!”Cheng Yu’s words cut deeply into Qian Hao’s mind. His eyes bulged with burning fury, and in an instant, both his hands too were shrouded in flames.

At the same time, his right hand shot forward with a devastating punch aimed at his former senior brother’s chest. Qian Hao twisted his body to the side just in time, and the streak of energy whizzed past, smashing into a tree and shattering its trunk instantly. For a brief moment, Qian Hao was startled by the destructive force Mo Lin had unleashed. But his surprise quickly faded, for Mo Lin’s assault did not stop there. Another wave of energy shot toward his head, forcing Qian Hao to duck and retreat. Lung Wei’s mouth hung open for a moment, then he lowered his head and looked down.“I will follow whatever Master says.”“Now, come with me!” Without waiting for Lung Wei’s reply, A Fu shot forward toward Fang An. Swiftly, he joined in chanting the mind-reversal incantation to awaken the hundreds of people nearby.Inside the fortress, Cheng Yu and Mo Lin easily found Qian Hao, who was still inside a chamber. Their arrival shocked him—especially when he saw both his junior brothers glaring sharply at him.“Why are you two looking at me like that?”“Enough with your charade! We’ve come to kill you, Qian Hao!” Mo Lin shouted.“Kill me? What nonsense is this, Mo Lin? What charade are you talking about?” Qian Hao frowned, still pretending not to know that his treachery had already been discovered.“Stop pretending, Qian Hao! We already know everything! Even Braga died because of you!” Mo Lin roared.“What do you

  • Cheng Yu and Mo Lin’s Plan

“Wouldn’t it be better to wait until morning, Prince? It’s already night, and it’s dark,” Sun Zu rubbed his forehead in disbelief.“Hahaha, it’s fine, Grandfather. In fact, at night we can move more freely,” replied Fang An, adjusting the strap of his sword that had slipped a little down.“Perhaps for soldiers or ordinary people it would be difficult to see in the darkness, but for us martial artists, it’s not that difficult. You’re a martial artist too, Grandfather, so you know what I mean,” he continued with a smile.Sun Zu raised his brows, agreeing with Fang An’s words.“Then what is your next plan, Prince?” asked A Fu.“I don’t know, Grandfather. If I use the same method as before, I’ll exhaust my inner energy. More than half of it has already been drained, and it hasn’t fully recovered yet.”“Then let’s wait until tomorrow. What do you think?”Fang An glanced at the people around him before answering A Fu’s question.“I still want to see the situation first, Grandfather. If ther

Elsewhere, Mo Lin was startled when he realized that Cheng Yu was leading him toward the gathering place of the Tong Dynasty troops. He stopped and looked at Cheng Yu with suspicion.“Why are you taking me there? Aren’t they the soldiers who will attack our fortress?”“That’s true—and Master is also there,” Cheng Yu replied.Mo Lin frowned. “Don’t lie to me, Cheng Yu. How could Master join them and plan to destroy the fortress he himself built?”“I am not lying, Mo Lin. I already told you—Master is no longer a follower of the Dark Prince. And what is wrong if he joins them? Their true intention is not to destroy our fortress but to awaken those whose minds have been brainwashed.”“Is that really so?” Mo Lin’s tense demeanor gradually eased.“I would not lie to you. In fact, I nearly died, and one of them healed me.”Mo Lin remained silent, caught in confusion.“If you don’t believe my words, wait here.
