Time passed swiftly, and before anyone realized, the day had already changed. The next morning, Zhang Wuji, along with his four companions, hurried to the capital’s central square to register for the tournament.

“Looks like he’s afraid to face you, Zhang,” said one of his companions.

“Yeah, Zhang. Yesterday was just a trick to stop you from beating him up,” added another.

“I’ll still beat him if I run into him,” Zhang Wuji snarled.

“There he is—Fang An!” one of his friends pointed to Fang An speaking with several soldiers. “Should we jump him now?”

"Your current ability isn’t enough to defeat him, Fang An. Even if you’ve mastered all three techniques," said Qian Hui."What do you mean, Grandma?" Zhang Wuji and A Long immediately turned around. They hadn’t expected Fang An to already be standing behind them. The son of the White Eagle Sect’s leader suddenly collapsed to his knees. But Fang An swiftly caught his shoulders and urged him to stand.“Stand up, Zhang Wuji... You don’t need to do that! I am not a god for you to worship.”“But why does Your Highness still grant me this position, when you yourself know what I’m like?”“If you're willing to change, I’ll still give it to you. At least there will be a representative from the White Eagle Sect serving in the palace,” replied Fang An.“I promise to change, Your Highness. For you and for the Shang Dynasty.”“Hahaha... Why would you change for me, Zhang Wuji? You should be changing for yourself. If you weren’t the son of Li Shimin, would anyone respect you with such a character? If you want to grow, be yourself. Change because you truly want to—not because others push you to,” Fang An concluded.Zhang Wuji felt like a child be

If you’re willing to change, he’ll accept you into the court,” A Long reminded him.Zhang Wuji glanced at A Long for a moment before lowering his head again. His mind was a whirlwind of confusion and doubt.“Understand this: if Fang An wanted to, he could finish you with a single strike. You may not believe it, but you could test him.
