The Void had arrived.
Its colossal claw tore through the fabric of the First Realm, ripping apart the sky above the World Tree.
One branch snapped.
Then another.
Each falling branch carried an entire world.
Kael watched in horror as countless stars disappeared into the darkness.
The World Tree cried out.
Not with words...
But with the sorrow of every life it had ever nurtured.
The sound shook Kael’s very soul.
The seven Watchers immediately moved.
Each raised a hand, releasing pillars of golden light that wrapped around the broken branches.
For a brief moment...
The falling worlds stopped.
But the effort came at a cost.
Cracks spread across the Watchers’ bodies.
The tallest among them spoke through gritted teeth.
“We cannot hold it...”
“...for long.”
The Hollow King stepped forward.
His black blade ignited with silver flames.
“Kael.”
The young Sovereign turned.
“I have spent thousands of years trying to fight the Void alone.”
“I failed.”
The Hollow King lowered his weapon.
“But perhaps...”
“...I was never meant to fight alone.”
Kael nodded.
“Then we fight together.”
The ancient king smiled.
“The words I waited an eternity to hear.”
Without warning, the darkness split apart.
Thousands of creatures emerged from the Void.
They had no faces.
No eyes.
No mouths.
Only shifting black forms that absorbed light itself.
Wherever they passed...
Reality crumbled.
The First Watchers charged first.
Golden spears collided with the creatures, destroying dozens at a time.
The Hollow King leapt into battle beside them.
His blade carved through the darkness like a falling star.
Kael drew the Blood Sovereign Blade.
“Selene...”
He stopped.
She wasn’t there.
Neither were Caelan, Elara or Aurel.
He was alone.
For the first time since beginning his journey...
He had no companions beside him.
A creature twice the size of a castle lunged at him.
Its body constantly changed shape.
Blades.
Claws.
Wings.
Each heartbeat transformed it into something new.
Kael activated Storm Crown.
Lightning gathered around Dawnbreaker.
With one powerful swing—
A river of blue lightning split the creature in half.
It dissolved into ash.
But three more appeared.
Then ten.
Then a hundred.
Kael realised the terrifying truth.
The Void did not run out of soldiers.
Far away...
Back in the mortal world...
The Black Citadel was falling.
Only one chain still bound the Eighth Seal.
Malachar knelt before it.
Blood flowed from deep wounds across his body.
The First Sovereign stood beside him.
“The barrier is weakening.”
Malachar nodded.
“I know.”
“If the final chain breaks...”
“The Void’s true body will enter your world.”
The Emperor slowly stood.
Then, with great effort, he removed his black crown.
He placed it upon the ground.
“I was never a great Emperor.”
The First Sovereign looked at him.
“You were.”
“You simply carried a burden no ruler should ever bear.”
Malachar smiled sadly.
“I hope...”
“...my son forgives me.”
At that exact moment...
Kaelor, Selene, Caelan, Elara, Aurel and Cassian arrived at the ruins of the Black Citadel.
They had travelled day and night after feeling the disturbance in the First Realm.
The palace was almost unrecognisable.
Half its towers had collapsed.
Darkness poured from cracks beneath the throne room.
Kaelor drew his sword.
“My father is down there.”
Cassian stepped forward.
“Then we fight our way to him.”
Thousands of Imperial soldiers gathered behind them.
For the first time in history...
The Empire...
The Blood Sovereign’s allies...
And the surviving kingdoms...
Stood together as one army.
Not for conquest.
But for survival.
Back in the First Realm...
Kael fought beside the Hollow King.
Their movements became perfectly synchronized.
One controlled lightning.
The other wielded ancient darkness against the Void itself.
The Watchers noticed.
The tallest Watcher whispered,
“So this...”
“...is the third path.”
Suddenly, the World Tree erupted with brilliant white light.
One final branch, hidden since the beginning of time, began to bloom.
Unlike the others...
It held no world.
Only a single silver flower.
The Hollow King’s eyes widened.
“It can’t be...”
The First Watchers slowly bowed their heads.
“The Final Bloom...”
“It has chosen.”
The flower drifted gently toward Kael.
The six rings on his Blood Sovereign Mark began spinning rapidly.
A new voice echoed through creation itself.
“The Seventh Inheritance awaits its rightful heir.”
Kael reached out instinctively.
The silver flower landed in his palm.
Then...
The entire First Realm disappeared in a flash of blinding light.

CHAPTER 50: JUDGEMENT OF THE WATCHERS
The golden light descended from the heavens. It was brighter than the sun.Brighter than the stars.Even the World Tree bowed beneath its radiance.Kael instinctively shielded his eyes. The Hollow King, however, remained standing. His expression was calm.Almost... resigned.“You came sooner than I expected.”The light gathered into seven towering figures. Each was cloaked in robes woven from living starlight.Their faces were hidden behind golden masks.Their presence alone made the First Realm tremble.Kael felt his soul grow heavy. These beings were unlike anything he had ever encountered. Not even the Seven Sovereigns possessed such overwhelming authority. One of the figures stepped forward. Its voice echoed through every branch of the World Tree.“Hollow King.”“Your exile has ended.”The Hollow King smiled faintly.“No.”“It has only begun.”Kael looked from the Watchers to the Hollow King.“You know each other.”One of the Watchers turned toward him.“We created him.”Silence.
CHAPTER 49: THE WORLD BEFORE TIME
Darkness.Then...Light.Kael slowly opened his eyes.He was standing in a vast meadow covered with silver grass that stretched beyond the horizon. Above him, there was no sun, no moon, and no stars. Instead, enormous rivers of light flowed across the sky like living constellations. The air was peaceful.Too peaceful. There was no trace of the Hollow King’s corruption. No scent of death. No hatred.Only silence.“So...”A calm voice echoed behind him.“What do you think of my home?”Kael turned. The Hollow King stood several metres away, no longer wearing his black robes. Instead, he wore simple white clothing, looking less like an ancient destroyer and more like an ordinary traveller.“You brought me here.”The Hollow King nodded.“Yes.”“Where is this place?”The ancient ruler smiled.“The First Realm.”“The birthplace of all worlds.”Kael’s eyes widened.“The First Realm...”“I thought it was only a legend.”“So did everyone after it was erased.”The Hollow King began walking throu
CHAPTER 48: THE HOLLOW KING'S INVITATION
The moment the Sixth Inheritance merged with Kael’s soul...The world went silent. No wind.No thunder.Even time itself seemed to pause. The six rings surrounding the Blood Sovereign Mark shone together, creating an ancient symbol that had not appeared in thousands of years. The First Sovereign, still beneath the Black Citadel, suddenly looked toward the heavens. His normally calm face filled with disbelief.“It has appeared...”Malachar looked at him.“What has?”“The Crest of the True Sovereign.”Far away at the Shrine of Storms, Kael stared at the glowing mark on his hand.Blue lightning circled around him without causing harm. The winds obeyed his every thought. He could feel every storm across the continent.Every raindrop.Every gust of wind.Every flash of lightning. The Sixth Inheritance had connected him to the skies themselves.Aurel watched in amazement.“I have studied the Seven Sovereigns all my life.”“I have never seen anything like this.”Tharos smiled.“Because it ha
