Kael’s blade dripped crimson onto the marble floor, the body of the king’s champion slumped in a broken heap behind him. The corridor, once regal, now smelled of scorched stone, sweat, and blood. Silence echoed through the shattered hall as Kael turned his burning gaze on King Almond.

“I gave you everything!” the king roared, but the tremble in his voice betrayed his fear. “You were supposed to be my weapon, my sword against the rising chaos—not the storm itself!"

“You only helped me because you felt pity for me,” Kael said coldly. “And now, I’m breaking every one.”

With a roar, Kael surged forward, Hakana spiraling around him like a dark cyclone. The air bent, and stone cracked beneath his feet. King Almond raised a warding hand, but he wasn’t fast enough. Kael’s sword slashed through the air, aimed for the king’s throat—

A sudden pulse of blue light exploded in the hall.

Kael’s body locked mid-motion, suspended in the air as though invisible hands clutched him. He snarled,

"What are you?" Kael asked with a shaky voice. "Do you think we won't find you!" the supposed Elira suddenly began transforming into a demon. Kael's face contorted, and he suddenly became frightened. 'There is no place to hide, Kael. We are going to have you turned and become a demon yourself. Think about it." The demon said with a strange smile that sent shock waves down Karl's spine. "You get to be a demon yourself, so there won't be any reason for you to kill us." The demon said with laughter. "I am going to stop you all and keep you trapped again for all eternity!" Kael said, getting his sword up. The demon looked again at him and laughed. "Do you think we don't know?" it said with a hissing voice. "You don't have it, boy!" Kael's face showed he was angry as he tried to move back each time the demon approached."What do you think I don't have?" Kael said, trying to hide his fear. His gaze lingered on the exit door, which was a few steps away. "You believe what

Dareth’s words sent a ripple of tension through the room. Even the murmuring elders fell silent. All eyes were now on the tall, broad-shouldered figure standing at the far end of the hall. His voice had boomed like a war drum, steady and unshakable. There was no doubt in his tone. It wasn’t a threat—it was a prophecy.Kael rose from his kneeling position slowly, the weight of the moment resting heavily on his shoulders. He turned to face Dareth fully, locking eyes with him. Dareth’s aura was different. It wasn’t just rage—it was cold, calculating, and deeply personal."You think I stole something from you?" Kael asked, his voice low, almost a whisper, but the silence in the hall made it ring loud. "You’re wrong. I lost everything the night you had my father killed!" "You think you lost everything," Dareth replied, walking forward with calculated steps. "You have no idea what true loss is. I am going to make you bleed and wish you hadn't killed my son. And you had better get your Haka

The thought of his power going forever scared Kael but he knew he was also vulnerable. Rand's friends were going to try and come for his head. The best way was to try and stay in between. Kael could feel his body back to the way it was but his Hakana was missing. Was this supposed to happen? Or was the witch lying about releasing his Hakana?Either ways, Kael was ready to train and unlock it himself. " You don't need to defy the king's order." Kael said getting up from the cold floor. " What is happening right now is bigger than us fighting and if you really are for me then Commander Rael I command you to train us." There was a long silence in the room. All the elders began to murmur among themselves at the word Kael said. " Do you hear the boy?"" What makes him think he could command, Rael?" " He is not even a king and he dares to use the word command." But instead, Commander Rael walked towards him and slowly placed a hands on his shoulders. Both of them talked for a while

Everyone was eager to see what happened immediately after Kael's Hakana was released. Some of the Swordmasters had their hands on their blades. "Are you ready, boy? Are you ready to have it back?" Elira asked. "Does it look like I have a choice? The fate of this kingdom rests on my shoulders getting my powers back. Are you going to do it or not?"Elira looked at King Almond, and he nodded, giving the final signal for her to proceed. "Very well." Elira said, walking into the middle with Kael, who seems ready to have his powers back. The thought of taking on anyone who crossed his path came back to his mind. Dareth and if possible the king who claimed he had no hands in the death of his father. He won't be insignificant anymore. They were going to fear him, but was that what he really wanted? The ground beneath Kael's feet began to glow with ancient runes that curled into patterns no mortal could decipher immediately. Elira began to chant in an ancient tongue. The temperature

Everyone's gaze was on Kael, like the next word that he was going to say was going to bring the entire room into chaos. "I don't know why my father had to die at his brother's blade, but I am ready to find out, and if anyone has a hand in it, then it is going to be war. I know my uncle did it, but on whose order?" Kael said, looking at King Almond. "You need to be careful who you point accusatory fingers at, boy. I don't do well with people coming at me," King Almond warned. "Since you are so eager to be back into my kingdom, then I am going to allow you on one condition." The entire room was filled with tension as many of the sword masters looked at King Almond. "And what is it that you ask of the boy? Because if this is some kind of trick, then you are going to have me to contend with!" Commander Rael scowled. "No trick. I just want to test the boy and see if he is not like his father." King Almond looked at Kael, who stood in front of him. "You want to know why your father

The double sword shined in Rael’s hands, forged entirely of raw Hakana energy. Its blades hummed with restrained fury, streaks of silver-blue lightning arcing across the edges. Kael had only ever heard of such a manifestation in legends—a weapon formed from one’s pure will and spirit, shaped only by those with mastery beyond the realm of ordinary warriors. He remembered he had seen his father channel like that once or twice, but now seeing it again reminded him how powerful his father was. Gabriel sighed heavily, drawing his own blade—a sleek weapon etched with runes of ancient power. “This is madness,” he muttered. “But if we must carve our way in, then so be it. I’ll stand with you.”Kael’s heart pounded harder. “Wait!” he shouted, his voice cracking through the tension like thunder. “There has to be another way. Fighting the palace guard won’t bring peace. My father would never have wanted this!”Commander Rael didn’t look back this time, his voice firm but resolute. “Your father
