THE LEGEND OF HARRY

CHAPTER 8

Later that night, Nora returned from work and saw this beautiful girl laid on the bed.

"Harry, Allie I'm home." Nora said loudly but nobody responded to her call.

She then started looking for Allie and her son Harry.

'Where could they be?' Nora thought.

She then saw that the back door of the house was opened. She went through the back door and saw Allie applying bandages on Harry's arm outside.

"Oh my goodness, what happened to you? And who is that girl inside the house?" Nora asked.

"Nora Could you believe that my son is lying right to my face that he saved that girl you just saw inside the house with magic?" Allie asked.

"I don't understand Harry, are you telling your mother you have magic?" Nora asked.

"I don't know aunt, I was just about to get killed and it just happened." Harry replied.

"And you think you did magic?" Nora asked.

"Nora, why on earth are you trying to believe such things that never existed?" Allie asked.

"And how did you get yourself injured?" Nora asked.

"I got a little upset when he lied to my very face Nora." Allie said.

"Is that why you hit him so hard and got him injured?" Nora asked.

"He was the one who told me to hit him in the first place, that his magic would protect him." Allie said.

"Harry, are you mad, why on earth will you be telling your mother that your magic will protect you? Were you day dreaming?" Nora asked.

"I believed he went to the tavern and got this poor girl drunk Nora." Allie replied.

"No I didn't mother." Harry said.

"Not another word Harry, I know that women must be hounding you day and night, that doesn't mean you should get someone drunk. Now take a look at what you got yourself into?" Allie said.

"She's not drunk mother I swear and I didn't go to the tavern." Harry said.

"But she's a thief?" Allie asked.

"I don't know mother all I did was to save her, because her life was in danger and I couldn't just walk away like that." Harry said.

"You see Nora? This is exactly what I'm talking about." Allie said.

"My son could have have sacrificed himself all because of a thief. Could you just hear the words coming out of his mouth? Allie asked with tears on her face.

Harry became angry that his mother didn't believe a word his saying. He then walks away angrily.

"Harry get back here, don't you dare walk out on me like that?" Allie shouted.

But Harry went inside the house without listening to any word his mother was saying.

"Just let him be Allie." Nora said.

"Did you see what he just did? He just walked out on me." Allie said.

"His just angry Allie, and I know you care a lot about him. Just calm down alright?" Nora replied.

"But what if everything he said was true?" Nora asked.

"Oh my goodness, could you hear yourself? I can't believe you fell for his lies Nora, unbelievable." Allie said angrily and walked inside the house.

Harry was sitting down angrily as his mother walks out of the house with anger.

"Mother?" Harry called.

But Allie gave no replies and walked away.

Nora came inside the house and saw Allie leaving.

"I'll go talk to your mother okay? I'll see if I could calm her down." Nora said to Harry.

Harry nodded as Nora walked out of the house calling Allie.

Few minutes later, Harry calmed down and got closer to this girl he laid on his bed.

He started starring at her and couldn't get his eyes off of her. Until finally she opened her eyes.

"Thank goodness, you are okay." Harry said.

"You've been on the bed for hours and I was beginning to wonder if you were ever going to wake up." Harry said.

She kept starring at Harry, because she has never seen someone that cute in her life.

She then quickly took her eyes off and remembered that she was being chased by some dangerous men.

"Do you want something to eat?" Harry asked.

"Can I have your hands?" She asked slowly.

"My hands? Sure." Harry said stretching out his hands.

She quickly grabbed hold of harry and landed him on the bed.

"Woah woah woah... please don't kill me." Harry shouted.

"And tell me one reason, why I shouldn't kill you right now?" She asked while threatening him.

"Because I saved you, I...I saved you from those men that tried to kill you remember?" Harry asked.

She remembered that she was being chased and fainted, but after that nothing.

"I don't know you, and there is no way you could have saved me from twenty men chasing after me." She said.

"Where is this place?" She asked.

You are in lexicon village, I...I can show you around if you want?" Harry asked

"Shhhh, not another word." She said putting her hand on Harry's lips.

"Please don't kill me." Harry forced himself to speak despite her hand on her lips while closing his eyes.

With that she left Harry alone and walked outside the house and ran away.

Harry opened his eyes slowly and saw that she was gone. He then ran outside to see if he could find her, but she was long gone.

"Please Allie just forget about what happened?" Nora asked.

"I can't believe he lied to my face Nora, and you were also falling for his lies." Allie said.

"Alright I'm sorry about that." Nora apologized.

"Fine, but please don't take sides with him alright?" Allie asked.

"I wasn't taking any sides, I was just being... You know, realistic." Nora replied.

"Oh goodness, please just save it. And promise me such thing won't happen again?" Allie asked.

"Alright, I promise." Nora replied.

"Look can we just go back home and have something to eat? Harry is all alone with that girl at the house, what if she wakes up and wanted to do something horrible to him?" Nora asked.

"Oh my goodness, my son." Allie said as they both hurried back home.

Back at home, Harry left the house and returned to the woods to meet his dragon Folkar.

When he got to the woods he saw that his dragon has grown bigger that night.

"Wow! Folkar you've grown?" Harry asked.

"Yes I have Harry." Folkar replied.

"Why have you come to see me?" Folkar asked.

"I just wanted to get away from home." Harry replied.

"But I thought your mother would be worried about you?" Folkar asked.

"She's not anymore." Harry replied.

"Harry? I know that you are sad because your mother was angry with you and she never believed you had magic." Folkar said.

"I really do have magic?" Harry asked.

"Of cause Harry." Folkar replied.

"Wait a minute, how did you know that my mother was angry with me?" Harry asked."

"Harry, you gave me such powers after naming me." Falkor replied.

"Me? How is that possible.

"How did you think I hatched in the first place?" Folkar asked.

"You unlocked me and you saved that little girl with your magic Harry, it was all your doing." Folkar said.

"I don't understand, you were there the whole time?" Harry asked.

"I have always been with you Harry." Folkar replied.

"And why didn't you do anything, you should have just done something to save me and the girl?" Harry asked.

"I wanted to, but I knew you don't know you had such powers and I believed you would protect yourself. That was the reason why I stood by and watched." Folkar replied.

"That means I really do have magic?" Harry asked again.

"Yes." Folkar replied.

"So tell me how do I use my magic?" Harry asked excitedly.

"I don't know how your magic works Harry." Folkar replied.

"I thought you knew everything about me?" He asked.

"It was you who brought me to this world Harry, and I know nothing about how your magic works. But I know everything about your past." Folkar replied.

"Really?" Harry asked.

"Yes." Folkar replied.

"So what do you know about me?" Harry asked.

"Everything about your past." Folkar replied.

"Tell me everything about my past." Harry said.

"I can't tell you everything Harry, unless you ask me what exactly you want to know about your past." Folkar replied.

"Okay, who were those men who tried to kill the girl I saved?" Harry asked.

Folkar's body started sparkling.

"They are called bandits Harry." Folkar replied.

"Bandits?" Harry asked.

"Yes Harry." Folkar replied.

"Where did they come from and why are they chasing her?" Harry asked again.

"I don't know." Folkar replied.

"What do you mean you don't know?" Harry asked.

"I told you already, I can only remember your past, not someone else's past." Folkar replied.

"Oh, now I understand." Harry replied.

"Maybe my mother might be back home already, I have to go I'll see you soon." Harry said.

"Anytime young master." Folkar replied bowing to Harry.

"Harry?" Allie called with a loud voice.

"I'm right here mother." Harry replied.

"Where is the girl and where did you go to?" Allie asked.

"She's gone mother." Harry replied.

"Gone? I have lots of questions boiling on my mind for that girl, and now you are telling me she's gone?" Allie asked.

"Please can we eat already?" Nora asked.
