It actually made sense.

Maybe the anonymous person was decided to finally slip into the shadow to give her a surprise tomorrow when her company finally went public.

Or Maybe he vanished to heighten her anticipation to see him; Some men's antics to make the woman they love to keep mulling about them and it was actually working on her.

She let out a soft sigh, calming her nerves now.

"I hope so,Mum," She said. "Thank you, Mum."

"That's the kind of man you should for. Someone who knows your worth. Someone who surprises you with presence rather than a cup of tea and Garbage."

Amara flinched slightly. PRESENCE.

In another corner of her mind, the reality she didn't want to accept was that Elias has been present— doing just what he wanted her to see while unbeknownst to her does the bigger things in the shadow.

But her new status doesn't require mediocrity. If she's giving someone a chance into her life again, it would be someone who isn't average, someone who actually knows what it meant to have a dream and not someone who stands by to support petty things that anyone could have done.

And that person is the legendary doctor but she'll be shocked when she finally finds out who that man really is.

She stepped into her room and the door clicked behind her, phone pressed to her ear, her voice echoing in a World that would soon become FORGOTTEN along with ex-husband, making plans for the grand tomorrow.

Meanwhile, across the city in a lavish mansion sprawling on a hill top, the Fleets pulled in through the gate at the moretti's family house.

The building stretched into the sky catching the quick lightning flashing across the sky— all glass and concrete and old money passed.

One bodyguard opened the door for Elias and Bianca. Elais stepped out first. The rain had stopped but the weather was still much cold.

"Mr. Kade please." Bianca led the way, her heel clacking the cobblestone stone.

They stepped inside the room to meet the rest of the family members pacing the room up and down, some sat across in expensive outfits with concern etched over their face while some were making calls to people who can actually make their old man get better.

Sophia Morreti, her mother walked to meet her, glancing at Elias before looking back at her daughter. Her expression was etched with worries as the first child of the Morreti.

"Is he the one you talked about? The legendary doctor?" Her voice was a whisper.

Bianca nodded gently. "Yes, mother. We need to go see grandfather immediately before his sickness gets out of hand."

"Are you sure he'll be able to cure him? Everything things failing and this young man looks really young to be a medical expert. I expected an old man?" Her voice was still quiet, stealing a glance at Elias in observation.

"Mum you know better that age is not experience." Bianca said. "I'm sure he'll work magic."

As they moved across the hall, Elias felt the cold stares from some of the family.

"Another charlatan Bianca parades prove her worth? How desperate of her."

"Who is that man? Looks like he was pulled out from garbage. He doesn't look like a doctor. He looks like someone who actually needs to be treated."

"Where do you think you're going, Bianca?" Nathaniel Morreti stepped in her way, blocking the entrance of the house infirmary. He's the first son of Grandfather Morreti's Second wife. His ensembles were too loud—a navy suit that probably cost more than most people's rent in a year, gold timepiece Catching the light and flaunting it arrogantly. His gave turned to Elias. "With this fucking stranger. Are you planning to hurt my grandfather?" His voice carried an exaggerated concern.

"Your grandfather?" Bianca raised a brow, her expression hardening. "He's also my grandfather so step out of the way this moment Nathaniel or I'll have the securities remove you!" Her voice was authoritative and firm.

Nathaniel let out an amused chuckle. "Because you're the next of kin doesn't give you the audacity to speak to me like you call the shot here. I will not allow this young man here to walk through this door. I can't believe you'll stoop so low to hire incompetence for grandfather!"

The house stared at them.

Elias didn't step in. He simply observed Nathaniel with an indifferent neutral expression.

Bianca's fist curled at the side, anger burning through her.

"And what have you done? Standing here like a security guard to watch the door when your grandfather is dying?"

"I hire competence people! People who knows real medicine. They're inside there working and grandfather is going to walk out here on his feet."

That was when Elias finally spoke up, his voice was calm like a man who had just finished seeing a bad vision.

"And those competence people couldn't see your genitals is incapacitated due to your own excessive indulgence in immorality and it's that's not so embarrassing for you that you decided to keep your pride and arrogance intact and act like you're fine but down there you're not even up to a man."

The House fell into a stunned silence.

Nathaniel's jaw fell apart in shock, the revelation hitting him like a slap to the face. His face flushed in embarrassment as murmuring stirred in the hall. He didn't deny what Elias' statement.

"Who...who the heck are you?" His voice cracked. "How..how did you know?"

Bianca was likewise shock. Seeing Nathaniel's face went pale was satisfactory. A faint smirk tugged at the corner of his lips. He stepped closer in between them.

"You have no right to question my important guest, " She said. "Step out of the way now. You should have considered booking a session with a better doctor rather than yapping to my face when you're not even up to a man."

Slowly, he stepped aside, his shoulder slumped in defeat, still wondering how the stranger knew the defect he'd kept away. Clearly he's not an ordinary person if he could just look at him and know about his sickness.

He quickly grabbed his arm, speaking fast in desperation.

" Do you know you know the cure? Please help me. I'll pay you any amount. Any amount you want. Just make my Rod work again."

Elais turned to look at him and simply plucked his hand away.

"I didn't come here because of you." He simply said and moved but paused again glancing at him. "Go meditate over your immorality first, Maybe I'll be willing to help you after then."

He stepped inside the Bianca.

Nathaniel Morreti froze in place, colour drained from his expression.

He stopped in her front, smirking, "what is a beautiful woman like you, the heiress of the Morreti family doing with a man like him.
