Chapter Forty Six

Timothy resumed to his duty post to began spying on them. Although, the last call Jamy made to Detective Sam while they were in the guest room with the police commissioner had put a great fear in them. When they resumed work in the morning, it was an absolute fine in the heart of the Supernumerary police who couldn’t sleep over the night in the government quarter where they were staying.

Sergeant Clinton walked to Detective Sam’s office when he learnt that he had arrived. He left him at the quarter to attend to some urgent case he was invited early to the station for. When he entered his office, he saw the four Supernumerary police on their toe talking to him.

“Detective Sam. Welcome.”

“Yes. Thank you. I came to your quarters and I was told that you’ve left.”

“Yes. I came to attend to an urgent case this morning. I didn’t tell you. I am sorry for that.”
