Daniel's expression turned dark with disbelief at the audacity of Jayson's abominable demand. His fury boiled over as he approached Jayson, his forehead veins bulging. Gabriel was livid and felt like he could swallow Jayson whole.

"What did you just say?" Daniel roared with anger.

Jayson responded nonchalantly, stretching his muscles. "Not satisfied with yesterday's beating? I don't mind repeating it," he said, flashing his white teeth.

Daniel trembled with fear and glared at Jayson with animosity.

"A good fly shouldn't stand in the way, buzz off," Jayson chuckled before walking into the gym centre.

Jayson had just finished a rigorous training session with his gym instructor, and as he stepped out of the gym centre after taking a refreshing shower, he heard someone calling his name. It was his wife Elena, and she looked furious and filled with rage.

Without much enthusiasm, Jayson began to walk towards the busy road, hoping to catch a taxi and head to the hotel he stays. But Elena called out to him in panic, begging him to return home with her.

Jayson turned to her, feeling annoyed. "I'm not deaf," he said lazily. "I heard you. What do you want?"

Elena was trembling with anger and shock, but she did her best to keep her composure. "Let's go home," she said through gritted teeth.

Jayson yawned, unimpressed. "You didn't seem very sincere in your plea," he replied. "I don't feel like going with you."

Elena panicked and quickly moved to block his path.

Elena pleaded with Jayson, "Please come home with me, Jayson. I am your wife." But Jayson's expression turned cold as he brushed past her, saying, "Move aside, Elena."

Desperate to convince him, Elena offered, "Tell me what you want, Jayson. Money? Gifts? I can provide anything you need."

Jayson smirked at her suggestion and sarcastically replied, "Really? What, like two dollars?"

Elena, taken aback, pulled out two one-dollar bills from her purse and held them out to him. But Jayson shook his head and countered, "No, no, no. How about two billion dollars?"

Elena's face contorted in anger as she realized Jayson was just playing with her. "Do you think money grows on trees, Jayson?" she snapped. "You can't just demand billions of dollars like that. Have excessive cutting of vegetables damaged your brain?"

Jayson frowned and pondered for a moment. "Why do people brag about things they can't afford? If you can't back it up, just keep quiet. I can't stand show-offs," he muttered to himself.

As he stepped forward to hail a taxi, Elena grabbed hold of his arm. "Jayson, please come home with me. I need your help," she pleaded desperately.

Jayson let out a tired yawn and turned to face Elena. "If you get down on your knees and beg, I might consider it," he said in a mocking tone.

Elena's face turned pale with anger. She gritted her teeth and retorted, "Who do you think you are to make me kneel? You're just a..."

Before she could finish her sentence, Jayson had already gotten into the taxi, which sped away.

Jayson arrived at the hotel and paid the taxi driver before heading inside. After grabbing a bite to eat and getting some rest, he hit the gym the next morning. As he walked in, he spotted Elena waiting for him, but he quickly averted his gaze and made his way to the workout area.

Elena was furious at Jayson's apparent lack of acknowledgement towards her. She had always been used to him grovelling and seeking her attention, but now he seemed to be ignoring her completely.

Jayson spent the entire day at the gym, and Elena realized that if she wanted him to come home with her, she would have to play by his rules. She reluctantly agreed to do whatever he wanted for the time being, with the intention of dealing with him later.

Jayson emerged from the gym and wasn't surprised to find Elena waiting for him. She approached him, trying to act coquettish.

"Jayson, can't you see I'm sincere with my apology? Why don't you come home with me? I promise to cook your favourite dish and take care of you in bed tonight," she said with a whine.

Jayson's heart skipped a beat. He didn't expect to still be affected by Elena's beauty, despite her malicious intentions. But he kept a poker face and responded, "If you kneel before me, I may consider coming home with you."

Elena clenched her fists tightly, her fingernails digging into her palms. "Jayson, are you sure you want me to kneel?" she asked, feeling helpless.

Jayson remained expressionless, not moving an inch. Elena thought he might pull her up before she knelt on the ground, but she was wrong. He watched her coldly until her knees touched the floor. Elena's face turned ashen as she trembled with rage.

Jayson's cold words left Elena deeply unsatisfied. "You and your family should come and beg on your knees," he had said before walking away and getting into a taxi, which quickly sped off. Elena seethed with anger as she watched him go, stomping her foot in frustration.

Determined to confront the situation head-on, Elena got into her car and drove straight to Wilson's mansion. When Mrs. Wilson saw her daughter's gloomy face, she immediately asked what was wrong.

"Jayson made me kneel and refused to come home with me," Elena explained, her frustration palpable.

Mrs. Wilson's eyes widened in shock as she exclaimed, "That trash made you kneel? Unbelievable!"

Elena blushed in embarrassment and nodded, but Mrs. Wilson was already seething with anger. "This is intolerable. How dare he treat you like that?" she fumed, her face darkening with fury.

Mrs. Wilson's loud voice caught Lucy's attention, and she hurriedly walked into the living room. "What's going on, Mom?" she asked, her face displaying concern.

With an angry tone, Mrs. Wilson revealed, "Jayson made Elena kneel down."

Lucy was taken aback by the news. "What do you mean he made her kneel down?" she asked incredulously.

Elena nodded in confirmation and added, "He wants all of us to kneel down before him, before he will be willing to return home."

"Based on the evidence presented, it is clear that Gabby Willow is not the biological father of Peter."A slight twitch at the corner of Jayson's lips betrayed his lack of surprise at the revelation. Peter is my son, and this DNA result is a sham! I won't accept it!" Gabby Willow's voice thundered through the courtroom, his rage palpable."Silence!" the judge commanded as Gabby Willow struggled to contain his fury, wanting to lunge forward but held back by others in the room. Old Wade stood to the side as Gilbert tried to contact other family members and grandchildren. Unfortunately, they were all magically unreachable or had their phones turned off."Old man, it seems I've wasted enough time on you two; I should be getting rid of you now," the gang boss said, pointing his gun at Old Wade and edging his finger toward the trigger."I'll give you 1% of my shares in the company," Old Wade suddenly offered. The gang boss's expression soured as he scoffed, "1%? Do you think I'm a fool?""3%," Old Wade blurted out in a flustered manner, his fear of death evident."Not bad, old man; you're good at handling a crisis," the gang boss remarked before standing up and leaving the father and son locked in the room.Looking at his father, Gilbert said unhappily, "Dad, you shouldn't have given him 3% of the company shares. Now we're left with only 15%, and our monthly dividends will decrease by 3%."Old Wade let out a disdainful huff and snorted. "Why should I continue to

Facing the menacing presence of a notorious killer, the father and son stood frozen, unable to muster the courage to lie. With a tense expression, Old Wade locked eyes with Gilbert before reluctantly admitting, "We intended to purchase the property, but the asking price is simply too steep. Our purpose in coming here was to negotiate a more reasonable sum."The gang boss regarded the duo with a smirk before scoffing, "The Wade family holds an 18% stake in one of the largest group globally, not to mention the wealthiest company in the country. Even for a shareholder with such substantial holdings, fifty million dollars shouldn't pose a significant obstacle, right?"Old Wade's eyes widened in disbelief, while Gilbert's complexion grew noticeably ashen. Old Wade responded with a hint of dissatisfaction, "We were under the impression that you were prepared to offer the property to us for thirty million dollars. Why the sudden increase to fifty million?"The gang boss lounged back in his c

When we get there, I'll give him a piece of my mind. What a thief," he grumbled."Dad, please try to stay calm. We don't know who we're dealing with here," Gilbert urged, worried that his father might escalate the situation. They had an ongoing court case with the Wilson family that required a cash settlement, and their company's monthly dividends wouldn't be enough to cover additional troubles."Why are you so afraid? Sometimes I wonder if I'm even your father. When I was your age, I wasn't afraid of trouble; trouble was afraid of me," Old Wade scolded Gilbert relentlessly.Gilbert remained silent and declined to offer any further comments.
