Status Eye

All of them nodded as they knew what he had gone through the day so they bid him goodnight and then he went back to the guest room. Entering the room he turned on the light and then sat down on the bed and said under his breath “System.”

The next second a black screen appeared in front of his eyes so he looked at the status closely

Alton was shocked to find that his health had dropped by two points which showed how weak he was that he was able to get hurt from just that much but he moved his eyes towards the bar at top of the window which at the start only contained Stat Page and Mission button but now there was another button named Inventory.

Alton smiled and clicked on the inventory button and the page changed the next instant in front of his eyes ten small boxes appeared on the screen on the screen. They were about the size that they all could get fixed on a single page. Alton noticed that out of ten boxes two contained something the rest were empty.

Alton clicked on the first box and he saw a message appear 

[Status Eye]

[Do you want to retrieve it from Inventory]

[Yes/No]

Alton clicked on the yes button and the next second a vial appeared out of no thin air in front if someone else saw this they will be shocked but Alton understood that it came out of Inventory because as soon as it came out the box it was occupying became empty so Alton tried an experiment and thought of putting Vial back in the Inventory and it disappeared out of his hand back into the Inventory.

Now that his curiosity was finished he took out the vial again and saw that it had a white transparent liquid in it and when he focused on it he saw a window

[Description: Can be used to see the status of any person but the number of stat depends on the difference between the user and target. Increases eyes sight. Require 1 mana point for each activation.]

[Use: Put one drop on each eye for your Eyes to transform into Status Eye. Once used cannot be removed.]

Alton was shocked to see this because the reason he finished his dinner fast was that he remembered that he had not looked into the gift that he got from the system until now so he couldn’t wait but this was something else only that he can see the other person status meant that he can know how powerful the person is so he was even after knowing that at the moment it wouldn’t be much use to him but in future, it will be helpful.

Alton immediately laid down on the bed but then remembered that the door was unlocked so he first locked it and then got into a comfortable lying position.

Alton opened the vial and then using one free hand he put one drop first in his right eye and then in his left eye he got anxious about what will happen, but he didn’t feel any difference for about two minutes and as he was about to complain his voice got stuck in his throat as he felt the pain coming from his eyes at the start it was okay because it was minor but each passing second it was increasing and getting more unbearable and he wanted to start shouting but next second he brought the other pillow near his mouth and a bit on it so that he would not shout.

The pain in the start was just a stinging feeling in the eyes but now it was feeling like someone was pulling his eyes out of the eye sockets and putting them back but then repeating the process again and again. 

Alton's eyes started bleeding but he didn’t see anything as his eyes were completely shut. Ali didn’t know for how long this had been going on but he lost consciousness.

Knock Knock

Alton heard a voice in his surrounding as he was coming back to his senses

Knock Knock  “Young Master Alton wake up”

Alton slowly opened his eyes and noticed that all the pain was gone so he looked in his surrounding but found no difference but a message appeared 

[Status Eye has been successfully combined with the User]

Alton was looking at the message when his conscious was pulled towards the voice which woke him up

Knock Knock “Young Master Alton wake up it's already noon.”

Alton was shocked hearing this he looked out of the window but the sunlight was covered by the clouds so that was the reason he felt that it was still early morning which reminded him that he was not in Teren territory anymore so Alton immediately got out of bed and unlocked the door.

When Alton looked at the person standing in front he saw a redhead beauty with black eyes, it was no one other than Veronica his maid.

“Young Master thank god you are finally..”

 As their eyes met each other Veronica's words got jammed in her mouth and she shouted voice “Young Master... Young Master what happened to you.”

Veronica shouted the attraction of all the people in the mansion and Maria and Cecilia who was in the room next door to his came out immediately 

“Alton/Young Master...” but seeing him their mouth stayed open only once his name came out of their mouth.

He was shocked at them but he was speechless because he didn’t know what was going on as he was about to ask what was happening Lucas, Sophia, Ava, and Noah also came towards his room with some servants but they were also speechless seeing him.

Alton blinked a couple of times thinking there was something on his shirt of pent but when he looked at his shirt and pent there was nothing so this shocked him and he asked: “Why are you all looking at me like that what happened.”

Maria was first to come to her senses she moved towards him and held him by his shoulders asking “What happened to you.”

Alton was speechless standing there he asked dumbfounded “What happened sister.” Maria looked at him speechless and asked “You don’t know what you look like right now.”

Seeing Alton's dumbfounded look Maria understood that her brother didn’t know what was happening so she looked at Cecilia “Cecilia bring me a hand mirror.”

Cecilia was speechless hearing this but nodded and quickly went back to Maria's room and brought the hand mirror and handed it to Maria who then handed it to Alton. As Alton looked at the mirror he was shocked to see his current appearance his cheeks were covered with blood and his blue eyes had changed to grey. 

As everyone saw him dumbfounded Lucas said to butler while moving towards Alton “Call the doctor.” Butler nodded and then disappeared Lucas, Sophia, Ava, Noah, and Maria were asking him the same question again and again.

“Alton what happened to you are you okay.”

Alton was shocked hearing this because he didn’t know what to tell them so he moved after about a minute he opened his mouth “I am okay.”

Everyone was relieved a little hearing Alton's voice when Maria asked “What happened?” Everyone was looking at him seeking the answer as everyone was interested in it. Alton answered while still looking at the mirror “Nothing I just used some medicine last night and this was the reaction.”

Everyone heard him but they were unable to understand what was happening as what kind of medicine will make a person bleed without any scar or something and he looks completely alright.

Maria took Alton's hand in her hand and started checking his body for internal injuries but there were none which also left her speechless because if there was no cut or outer injury then the only reason could be internal but there were no internal injuries but when the mana passed through Alton's head she felt that this place was a bit weak as compared to the rest of the body.

Maria looked at Alton and later looked back trying to relay some message through eye contact. As Alton and Maria had been together for a long time she understood that he didn’t want anyone else to know and he will explain to her later.

Maria backed off and said, “He is okay maybe the medicine was trying to throw the bad blood in his body which shocked everyone.”

Ava looked towards Maria and asked what was in her mind “Sister Maria we understand about the blood but what about the eye color Alton had blue eyes but now they are completely gray.”

Maria was unable to answer this question because she also didn’t understand the reason behind the change in eye color so she looked towards Alton but even he didn’t know the reason. 

Then Butler came back with the doctor seeing the doctor Lucas ordered pointing towards Alton “Check that young man fast.”

The doctor nodded and then moved Alton towards his room bed where he can lay down so the doctor can have a better check. As they entered the room everyone was shocked to see the scene. 

Sophia unconsciously said a loud ”What happened here.”

The same question was on everyone's faces but their eyes moved towards Alton who could answer he also was standing shocked like he didn’t have any part in this. The bed sheet and pillow had blood stains on them but they also had sweat stains. This more looked like a place where a person rather than slept.

Alton didn’t know what to say so he looked toward Lucas and Sophia “I am sorry Count, Countess I have made a mess of your house.”

Sophia was speechless hearing this but she answered “It’s not a problem but are you okay with the blood loss…”

Alton nodded and then sat down on the clean side of the bed and the Doctor moved closer to him and started checking him closely.

After checking Alton for ten minutes the doctor stepped back and while respectably bowing said to Lucas “Sire there is no problem there are no internal or external injuries.”

Lucas looked at him seriously and replied: “Are you sure then tell me where that blood on his face came from.” The doctor looked back at Alton and then turned again towards Lucas “Sire there are no injuries maybe the patients' natural healing is so powerful that they were healed by the morning.” The doctor was also shocked but he could not say that there was an injury when there wasn’t any.

Hearing the report Lucas excused the doctor and looked at Alton without saying anything. Seeing that everyone was looking at him Alton got up from the bed and said: “I am okay let's have lunch we need to move today right.”

Lucas sighed and then left the room without saying anything as Alton looked fine and even the Doctor was saying that there were no injuries. Following behind Lucas Sophia, Ava, Noah, and the workers also left the room.

After everyone left there were only four people in the Alton, Maria, Veronica, and Cecilia. Cecilia moved and closed the door of the room and Veronica passed a wet towel to Alton to clean the blood from his face.

Alton took the towel and started cleaning his face when Maria made a sound barrier around them and asked “Alton is this related to your blessing.” Hearing this Alton smiled and nodded towards her and while giving the towel back to Veronica answered: “Yes this is one of many changes which will happen in my body for it to become powerful so no needed to take tension.”

Maria nodded to this but her heart could not help but get sad seeing the blood she knew that to gain something you need to lose something nothing in this world comes without a price.

Alton understood Maria's emotion but he couldn’t say that he will not get hurt in the future because if a person walk on the path to power the person will get hurt. Alton smiled at her and said under his breath which only he could hear “let me check it was worth it”.

Alton said in a low voice “Status” Saying this he look at Maria and a page looking like his status page appeared but there was some problem with it.

Alton rubbed his eyes and looked closely but the question marks were still there so he again mumbled status but this time looked at Veronica instead of Maria.

Seeing at the status of the three Alton let out a sigh he was unable to see their status because they were more powerful than him this did tell him that they were mages but hid Maria Rank as she was much more powerful even compared to Cecilia and Veronica.

Seeing the sad look on Alton's face Maria asked “What’s wrong why are you looking so sad?”

Alton turned his face left and right he answered “I remembered how weak I am.” Maria smiled at Alton and answered, “No worry you will become powerful in the future.”

Hearing this Alton smiled and nodded to Maria “You’re right Sister.” Finishing his words Alton moved towards the bathroom and Veronica helped him change then Alton said with a smile on his face lets go and move to our house.

Maria smiled and nodded to Alton and then the four moved out of the room together. First, they moved to the dining room and had lunch with the Troy family Alton also assured them that he was completely alright, and then Noah, Ana, and the butler help Alton, Maria, Cecilia, and Veronica move towards their new house.
