William wrapped his hands and put on his boxing gloves.
George however was concerned for his safety. “Master Knight. I would advise you not to take this fight. Ryan is one of the best boxers in the city, he is not an easy opponent.” “It doesn’t matter. He won’t be able to lay a hand on me” William said confidently. “Also, do not refer to me as Asher Knight in front of others, just William.” he warned with a stern tone. “As you wish sir.” As they got into the ring. The people cheered for Ryan. They couldn’t wait to see him beat up another victim. He pulled off his gold plated imperial belt and gave it to the referee to hold. Ryan flexed his muscles. From his physique, you could tell he was very strong. Everyone was expecting him to knock out William without breaking a sweat. Ryan stared at William as he got into the ring. He had always known William to be a weakling. He had seen Damon beat him like a dog more times than he could remember. The difference between their strength was unmeasurable. He was going to make sure he destroyed William’s face beyond recognition. However, he had not realized that the man he was with in the ring was different. George watched at the side of the ring with nervousness. If anything bad happened to Asher Knight in his gym, it would end badly for him. Meanwhile William remained calm. He had spent almost 2 years learning martial combat in the most ruthless army in the world. He was extremely strong and he was going to show Ryan what he was made of. He was going to destroy him for thinking he could look down on him. The bell rang for the fight to start and Ryan had an evil smirk on his face. “I’m going to enjoy this.” he said cockily. Ryan started the attack, launching two strikes in quick succession. However, all he hit was air. William dodged both punches swiftly. He launched another punch but still couldn’t hit him. “What’s the problem? Are your big arms too slow?” William taunted him. Ryan boiled with rage. No one had dodged his punches so easily before. He prided himself in being one of the fastest punchers. He went towards William again, striking faster and harder. William dodged every single punch skillfully. William smiled mockingly. “I thought they said you were the Imperial champion?” “Come on. I’ll make it easier for you.” William put his hands behind his back and put his face forward inviting Ryan to punch him. Ryan growled and went at William with everything he had but William just skillfully moved out of the way leaving Ryan struggling to catch his breath. William’s gaze hardened. “Now it’s my turn.” William moved so fast that Ryan didn’t understand what was happening. Two lightning fast punches struck him in the face. He tried to guard but it was no use. William was too fast and powerful. He delivered four more punches in quick succession. Ryan wobbled around, his vision had become blurry from the swelling William’s punches had caused. He tried to hit William once more but completely missed and fell on the ropes. As he turned, William gave him such a hard punch that dislocated his jaw and he fell to the ground like a piece of noodle. He was knocked out. Everyone gasped. They couldn’t believe what had just happened. William had beaten Ryan like he was an amateur. Even George was surprised at what had happened. He realized that Asher knight was no ordinary man. By the time Ryan regained his consciousness, his beloved imperial belt was being handed over to William. His face was purple from the beating he had received. William walked towards him, George following him behind. “I believe it is time you keep your end of the bet.” George said. Ryan fumed with anger. “You want me to kneel before this nobody?!” George’s face hardened. “You agreed to it. If you fail to keep your word, you will be kicked out of the boxing association.” George was one of the top members of the boxing association so he knew he could get him kicked out. Ryan knew he was serious. But what he couldn’t understand was why he was so obedient to someone like William. He had no choice if he wanted to continue his boxing career. He slowly got down on his knees in front of William. He felt a wave of shame and humiliation as others watched. He had never knelt before anyone and now he was forced to kneel before William “I’m sorry I insulted you. William” “Master William” George corrected him. Ryan’s jaw clenched. “M-Master William” he said with his head bowed. William smiled. He enjoyed bringing someone as proud as Ryan to his knees. Just like this, he was going to bring every single member of the Grey family to their knees

CHAPTER 39
William instantly recognized him. “You…You are…" “Yes. I'm the man you spared two years ago. My name is Roland.” He responded. William took a step back, a bit suspicious of his sudden appearance. “Why are you here?” “To pay you back for your help.” Roland replied. William's eyes narrowed. “Pay me back? How?” “I have gained a particular set of skills that would help you greatly. I can hack into almost any system in the world and build high tech programs” Roland continued. “I've researched you and I know you have a vendetta against the Grey family. I'd like to help you in your mission.” William raised his eyebrow. “How can I trust you?” Roland's expression turned serious. “Although I am eternally grateful that you saved my life, I also need your help with something else.” William's voice lowered. “What would that be?” Roland's gaze flickered to the ground before meeting William again. “You were able to leave the Legolas army. I want you to help me get my sister out
CHAPTER 38 [ NATASHA AND ROLAND : ORIGIN STORY]
[ 3 years ago, Legolas Army base] The soldiers gathered around for a briefing on their next mission. William was among those chosen for the expedition. It was his first official mission as a member of the Legolas army. General Ryker stood in front of them communicating his orders. “We've been contracted to eliminate a war criminal known as Robinson Tradwell.” Since the Legolas army was a private army, they weren't interested in the details of what their employers wanted as long as they got paid. Ryker pulled up a map on the large screen behind them. “The Intel reaching us is that he and his men are trying to escape and are currently in the Rhunakis desert.” “Remember, this is a clean mission, and there must be no witnesses. We move in and we take out the target. Is that understood?” “Sir, yes sir!” The soldiers roared in unison. The team of six including the general set out in their chopper at night. As they flew nearer to the drop point, William grew increasingly nervous.
CHAPTER 37
William's car engine roared as he drove into the parking lot of his penthouse apartment. He was quickly met by Roland who was waiting just outside. “Where is she?” William asked impatiently. "She's in the living room waiting for you." Roland responded. William sighed. “Okay. Did she by any chance see Martha? I don't want her dragged into this in any way.” "No. I told Miss Martha to stay in as you're having a very important meeting." Roland responded. "Good." William and Natasha knew each other from his time in the Legolas army. Natasha was one of General Ryker's most trusted intelligence operatives. However, this visit wasn't about old memories. The general had sent her for a reason. Natasha sat with her feet crossed having a drink when William walked into the room. “William! It's been too long. The general sends his regards.” she said with a light tone. William smiled. “It's not even been up to a year. Did you miss me that much?” “Let me guess. He wants you to
CHAPTER 36
William swallowed hard. Was she on to him? He slowly turned around trying to keep a composed face. “What do you mean?” Sophia narrowed her eyes as she walked closer to him. “It's your glasses." she said as she tilted her head. "I thought they used to be round? You've always worn round glasses.” William stomach tightened. He had put on his special glasses for recording and forgot that Leblanc didn't wear square shaped glasses. “Oh.” William chuckled nervously rubbing the back of his neck “Just wanted to try something different.” Sophia stared for a second longer before shrugging lazily. “Hmmm…Alright. You may leave.” She said dismissively before returning back to her phone. William exhaled sharply the moment he stepped out. Next, he had to figure out the perfect way to expose the video of Sophia confessing. Sophia's birthday was coming up and she always loved to throw big parties where she would host popular names from all over. William decided that that would be t
CHAPTER 35
“Yes.” William replied. “ His name is Leblanc. He works for the Grey family, and there's no way he's going to admit that Sophia sent him, he's way too loyal.” “So how do we prove that this was Sophia's doing?” Roland asked. William's voice lowered. Is Project Chameleon finally ready for launch? Roland's eyes widened. “You mean….” A wicked smirk formed on William's lips. “Yes, I'm going to beat Sophia at her own game.” Project Chameleon was a secret high tech project being carried out by Knight Industries. They had been working on a highly sophisticated AI mask that made it possible for the wearer to assume any face they wanted. It even had the ability to change the voice of the person who was wearing it. William had been planning to use it for something else, but because of this, he was going to use it early. “So you're going to act as Leblanc?” Roland asked. “Yes. I'm going to trick Sophia into confessing that she was responsible for those images.” William replied.
CHAPTER 34
“I promise I'm going to get to the bottom of this and if it turns out to be Sophia, I'm going to make sure to expose her for everyone to see.” William assured Martha. “Call Roland,” William said, giving an audio command to his phone. The phone rang once before Roland answered. “Hello sir.” “Roland. I need you to analyze the photos of Martha and Michael. Find out who created them.” “Yes sir. I'll get right on it.” Martha glanced at William with uncertainty. “Where are we going?” “I'm talking you to my place. You can lay low there for now, at least until we can take care of this.” Soon they arrived at William's penthouse apartment. He led the way inside, looking around to make sure none of the reporters had followed them. William escorted her into one of the guest rooms. “You can stay here. No one will disturb you. I'll be in the other room if you need me.” “Thank you so much.” Martha said softly. About an hour later, Roland returned with news about the images. He
