Ryan laughed. “A dog like you can’t do anything. You had better scurry away out of here before I beat you to a pulp.”
At this point, people’s attention was drawn to the scene that was going on and people were gathering around. Drawn by the attention, the manager came out to see what was going on. The Manager, George, had run the Elite Gym for a long time. He was a former heavyweight boxing champion. He had the build of a gorilla and could knock out opponents with a single punch. Roland had informed him that Asher Knight was going to be joining his gym, but he had no idea when he was going to come or what he looked like so he didn't know that William was Asher Knight. “What’s going on here?” He asked, noticing the face-off between William and Ryan. Ryan turned to the manager pointing his finger at William. “This piece of thrash snuck into this gym. He is just a servant for the Grey family.” George turned towards William. William didn't look like someone who was a servant. William took a serious tone as he spoke to George. “Is this how you allow members of your gym to be treated?” “I’m sorry for the inconvenience sir but could you please provide your membership card?” George requested politely. Ryan scoffed. “Why do you bother asking him for that? He doesn’t have one!” “Please your card sir?” William reached into his pocket, brought out his membership card and handed it to the manager. George looked at the card and realized that the name there was Asher Knight! His face quickly went pale and his blood went cold. Ryan had just punched the most important client he had ever had! He quickly dropped down on his knees and apologized. “Master! I’m sorry for this. I never knew that you were coming so soon.” He knew how powerful Asher Knight was and didn’t want to get on his bad side. Ryan was confused at what was going on. Why was he kneeling down to a nobody like William and referring to him as Master Knight? “What the hell are you doing? Why are you bowing to this loser?” George ignored him, his forehead nearly touching the floor. “Please, forgive my failure in handling this matter properly.” William smiled. George understood who he was. Had he made the wrong move of kicking him out because Ryan said so, he would have paid for it dearly. “You’re forgiven. However, this man here has disrespected me. There must be a punishment” “Of course, Master! He’ll be kicked out of the gym immediately.” George agreed instantly. “What? You'll kick me out because of this nobody? I am the reigning Imperial Champion!” Ryan protested. William smiled. He noticed Ryan had a lot of pride because he had won the imperial belt. “Fine. I see you have won the imperial belt. I challenge you to a boxing match.” Everywhere went silent. Most experienced boxers were scared of getting in the ring with Ryan, but William who wasn't even a professional boxer was challenging him to a fight. It was a death wish. William continued. “If I win, I’ll get your belt and you have to apologize to me on your knees. If you win, I’ll leave the gym instead.” Ryan laughed with a mocking tone. “I see you must have a death wish.” As a boxer himself, George knew how dangerous fighting with Ryan could be. Ryan had ended people’s careers in the ring. Ryan believed that there was no way William could beat him in a fight so he agreed. “Let’s do it then. I will be glad to take out thrash like you.” A sly smile formed on William's face. Ryan was about to find out what someone who trained in the Legolas army was capable of.

[William’s Apartment] “Scarlett is prepared to beat the bid. She has offered 130 billion dollars.” William informed Roland. Roland nodded, a bit surprised. “I wasn’t sure if she would.” William chuckled. “I know Scarlett. I knew she’d never be able to stand seeing William outdo her. Her pride won’t allow her to.” “I guess you’ll be awarding the contract to her now?” Roland asked. William’s eyes narrowed, he walked towards to his home bar picking out a bottle of whiskey. “Not yet. I still want to push her a little bit more.” A confused expression was drawn on Roland’s face. “What do you mean?” “EdgeSpin is going to be making another bid of 15 billion.” William replied. Roland’s eyes widened. “What? For her to match that, she’ll need to risk more than half of her company’s networth. Will she really be willing to do that?” William sat back on his leather seat, staring into the air as he took a sip of his whiskey. “Don’t worry. She will.” he said confidently. [Grey Industries]

Over the next day, Scarlett struggled to make a decision. To outbid EdgeSpin, she would have to make a risky investment. She wasn’t sure if that was a risk she was meant to take. On the other hand, Asher Knight had offered her a golden opportunity. There were many companies who would fight to get the chance she had just been given. She had always wanted to make Grey Industries greater. Was she really going to just let this chance slip by? She was still in thought when her intercom buzzed and her secretary’s voice came through. “Ma’am there’s someone here to see you.” Scarlett frowned. She wasn’t expecting anyone. “Who is it?” she asked. “He says he’s the CEO of a company named EdgeSpin.” her secretary replied. Scarlett’s eyes widened. The CEO of Edgespin? Why did he want to see her? “Alright. You can let him in.” Some minutes later, her office door opened and a man in a grey suit stepped inside. Immediately she saw him, her expression turned sour. “You???” she blurt

“We’re prepared to publicly announce the project.” Roland said as he walked into William’s office. William nodded. “Good. Make sure you spread the word that Knight Industries have already found a company that they are willing to partner with.” “I’m sure this will make Scarlett even more desperate to acquire the 30% stake in the project.” he said, branding a wicked smile. [ Grey Industries. ] “Ma’am, Project Contrl has been officially announced by Knight Industries.” Scarlett’s secretary informed her in her office. Scarlett smiled inwardly, she was sure that with her relationship with Asher Knight, he was surely going to choose Grey Industries as the official partner. “Have there been any information about the company they plan to award the 30% stake to?” she asked. “Yes, Ma’am.” her secretary replied. Scarlett smiled expecting the next name to come out of the secretary’s mouth to be Grey Industries. “It’s a company called EdgeSpin. I hear they are in advance talks t

At 7:00 pm, a limo came to pick up Scarlett. She wore a striking red dress and red lipstick to match. Soon they arrived at the sea dock. She stepped out and immediately saw Asher Knight waiting for her. He looked effortlessly handsome in a dark navy suit, no tie, just the right hint of charm and mystery. Scarlett looked around confused . “I thought we were having dinner? I don’t think there are any restaurants around here.” “We are.” William said with a charming chuckle. “I wanted us to have a private dinner on my yacht.” Asher led her to his yacht where a romantic dinner setup was waiting for them. The floor was littered with beautiful roses, and lavender candles all over. Scarlett felt like a princess as he pulled her chair for her. “Isn’t this a bit too much for a first date?” she asked casually. “Well,” William said as he took his seat. “I have never brought any woman on my yacht before, you are a special woman and deserve a special first date.” Scarlett couldn’t h

Scarlett walked into the Grey mansion with a wide grin on her face. She tossed her purse on the sofa and spun slightly. Her joy was so much that it couldn't be contained. “Guess who just closed a huge contract worth a billion with Knight Industries?” The room went still. Sophia who was lying down reading a magazine quickly stood up straight, nearly spilling the drink on the table. Her eyes widened with interest. “Wait..What? You met Asher Knight? Did he say anything about me?” Sophia asked with eagerness. Scarlett’s smile dropped into a look of dry amusement. She folded her arms, leaning against the doorway. “No. He didn’t mention you once.” Her tone was cool, but there was a sharp edge of satisfaction in it. “I’m not even sure he remembers you… other than the fact that you almost dragged him into a scandal.” Sophia’s face turned red with annoyance as she clenched her jaw tightly. Her nostrils flared up as she was ready to fire back a sharp insult, but a single glance from
