59. UNDERWORLD TESTS

Arthur tried to shift his body but he couldn't— there was a weight pressing down on him. He opened his eyes and looked around only to see Lisa right on top of him. He returned his attention to the vicinity; he couldn't recognize where they were.

Their surroundings were red, fiery red like fire— Arthur could've sworn he had seen the walls move, above them was not the sky as they are used to but was a layer of skulls; skulls? That was something new. Arthur nudged Lisa on the side waking her up.

Lisa immediately got up after being woken— she helped Arthur to his feet and looked around, scrutinizing her vicinity much like Arthur earlier. “Where are we?”

“I don't know, I only remember Granger sending us through a portal.” Arthur replied trying to piece everything together.
