THE RAIN FOREST

The trio travelled down from the Golden city to the forest belts in Burmah's southern region. Night had fallen at this point and they stood on a hill amongst the shrubs and behind tall trees. Valkori sat on Dahlia's back while Jamaal and Graymont observed their target, at the valley beneath them, small scattered tribal tents lined the forest floor and flame torches could be seen very easily under the darkness of night, but the most alluring aspect of the scenery was a tall pillar of smoke emanating from the hill across from them.

Jamaal observed the smoke with a telescope and spotted the stone temple from which fumes originated

"Holy cow..." he swore, he passed the telescope to Graymont to see for himself

"Bigger than we thought..." he said. Jamaal grinned and hissed. Graymont folded the telescope and tucked it into his strap bag, both of them turned back to see Valkori

    The day of the wedding came and guests flooded Jamaal's palace, the men wore custom and well designed suits and jewelry, most of them tied turbans of different colours on their heads, the women were dressed in gowns and sarees, a traditional Burmesian dress, the servants and attendants went around to offer them drinks as they awaited the couple Jamaal and Graymont got ready in the Prince's chambers. Graymont put on a black and golden Burmesian male suit, he checked himself out on one of the mirrors, adjusting his beaded necklaces and bangles. Jamaal wore a cropped white shirt, he left it unbuttoned to expose his bare chest and abdominal muscles, he put on flared white trousers as well and covered his wrists with golden bangles "Check this out..." Jamaal said, Graymont looked at him and saw a dark green turban on his head, the both of them laughed and he quickly took it off then combed his dark shiny hair out "You have to be the only Burmesian that looks dumb in a turban" Graymon

Jamaal brought Valkori to his mother's chambers, the golden room was filled with women and a few men all folding and placing tons of vibrantly coloured gowns and fabrics, the room scented of flowers, perfumes and citrus and the walls were rounded Jamaal's mother sat on her bed which was completely covered in dresses, she appeared to be in her late fifties, her hair already grey, she looked startled as the three of them walked into the room "Valkori,
