"Decorum." The host said, trying to get their attention.

"Nothing had changed in the list, and it was not modified. What I read to you all was exactly what was given to me," she said sternly.

"But Dana's name was originally determined by the company to be on that list, right?" Will asked.

"Mr. Will Port. This list is the company's final decision," she said sternly. Expecting him to walk back to his seat, but unfortunately, the man was stubborn.

"I heard that someone tried stopping Dana and the senior manager of this company from entering this dinner hall." He paused, turning to the people sitting in the crowd.

"The man was with a supreme badge," he added.

Eric had initially pointed Ethan to Will while they both walked up to the stage, so right now, Will tried searching for the person that Eric had shown him.

"I'm certain that after he saw Dana was back at the dinner party, he must have turned angry and used his supreme badge to deceive you, right? Because the lady by his side is the owner of Milma company, and all of a sudden, her company's name appeared; it is not a coincidence," Will said, pointing out his biggest suspect.

The crowd gasped, starting to see that Will might be right.

"Besides, you should check the list of guests of people that ought to be in this party. Their names are not part of the list, and heaven only knows how he got his hands on that badge." He added.

Before Will finished his sentence, several security personnel surrounded them.

Ethan frowned, seeing how gullible the host and the crowd were. One of the security men tried to get Roseanna to get to her feet, but Ethan frowned, throwing a death glare at him before saying with his thick voice,

"Don't lay your hands on her,"

Ethan got to his feet and held his hand out. Roseanna placed her hand on his and stood up.

"We'll have to handcuff you, sir." One of the men said, causing Ethan to furrow his brows.

Before he could protest or say anything, a lady walked into the call, ordering the security men to stop.

Everyone turned in the direction where they heard the voice, and they were all stunned to see Lilian. She was in a royal blue dress, one that complemented her skin and beauty.

"Nothing is wrong with the list that was read. Neither did she modify it." She said

The room turned instantly quiet. Lilian has built a reputation that cannot be questioned by anyone. One could barely find a smile on her face, as she always kept a straight face.

Will swallowed hard, wondering why Lilian had asked the security personnel to stop. She never had a stomach for deceit or lies.

Will clutched his fingers tightly, forming a fist as he turned to Eric, who stood tensed.

"How dare Lilian confirm that the list the host had read was correct?" Although Lilian has no shares in the company, she has been the only one who could contact the mysterious boss, and Will couldn't dare to provoke her.

Dana, who was on her seat, smiled with the way things were going until Lilian walked in and frowned. She hadn't seen Lilian before, not in magazines or on news channels, and she had only heard from Eric that the CEO of the secret company goes by the name Lilian.

She stood abruptly and questioned, "Who the hell are you to confirm that the list was correct? And on what basis do you speak for Ethan?"

Eric was immediately stunned; it took him less than 30 seconds to walk towards where she stood and throw a dirty slap across her face.

He immediately bowed at Lilian and apologized, "I'm so sorry for her outburst, ma. I'm sure she was ignorant of who you are!" He apologized.

Dana immediately realized that she had offended a big shot. "I'm so sorry, ma'am. Please forgive my outburst," she said, bowing her head to apologize as well.

Lilian shot them a death glare and turned to Will, who was a little terrified. From the second that Lilian stepped into the hall, the aura changed.

"Will, you've always been so meddlesome. What made you think that the list was tampered with? Did you forget that you're not in any position to choose the company name that can be added or removed from the list?" She asked, rhetorically.

"Yes, the list indeed did not include Dana's company name, and it was my decision to make Milma company a cooperating company." She informed sternly.

Will's palms immediately began to sweat; he swallowed hard and bowed his head slightly.

"I'm sorry, Lilian. I shouldn't have confronted the host like that," he said.

"I need the hall to be in complete order!" She said, causing Dana, Eric, and Will to go back to their seat.

Ethan and Roseanna did the same as well while the security personnel left the hall.

"The host had informed you all that the owner of the secret company would be making an appearance today, right? It's about time he did that," Lilian said, standing on the stage, gazing at every single person.

They all seemed anxious and ready to see him.

Dana forced herself to calm down; she turned to Eric, who looked humiliated.

"Even if I lost cooperation with the secret company, I'm sure that once the owner of this company revealed himself and I was able to have a moment with him, I could charm him with my beauty; no one has ever been able to resist me." She thought.

She turned to Ethan, who gazed at her sarcastically. She narrowed her eyes, thinking that Ethan was only with Roseanna to get back at her. The plot to make him suffer when she's acquitted to the owner of the secret company made her chuckle dryly.

"Please, let's welcome the owner of the secret company!" Ethan smiled and stood up, but his actions left everyone confused.

Rosanna became anxious. She quickly grabbed Ethan’s sleeve and whispered to him, “Secret Company’s founder is a mysterious figure. Even though you’re Supreme Guest No. 0001, you shouldn’t steal his spotlight at a time like this!”

Dana and Eric, on the other hand, burst into laughter. They never expected Ethan to dig his own grave.

“This idiot is absolutely brain-dead. Does he really think being a Supreme Guest gives him the right to ignore the mysterious boss?”

“Even Port, who owns just 5% of the company’s shares, could easily override his orders. And yet, he dares to challenge the mysterious boss? He’s asking for death—I just hope he doesn’t drag us down with him!”

Ethan ignored their words. With a calm expression, he walked up to the stage.

Everyone was watching, waiting to see Ethan humiliate himself. They were sure Lilian would throw him off the stage in an instant.

To everyone’s shock, not only did Lilian refrain from getting angry, but she also respectfully handed the microphone to Ethan.

“Sir, please speak.”

“What?!” Dana’s face turned deathly pale.

Eric and Port nearly lost their footing, about to collapse from sheer disbelief.
