Chapter 244: Westerfort’s Victory

Outside of the forest, the Anomalous beast was dying one after the other. Many were in pain, and most at the front lines had weakened and given the soldiers a fighting chance.

The armies of the West pushed back, and morale was high as they started to kill the terrifying beasts that plagued them.

The presence of the Ice Nook was a great help as it continued to rush back and forth to the aqueduct and deliver pools of frozen ice that crashed on the scattering beast.

From a siege, it became a hunt.

Westerfort had won!

Leading the way, the team of Arthen funneled through the beasts and even inspired the Mid Adepts to fight on.

Scythe was leaping and dashing through as they charged toward the forest. But they still met many battles along the way as the beasts realized that their way back home was no more.

Many fled to hide, while others remained to fight back.

Because of the lessening pressure in the fortress, communication was finally made possible.
