Taskforce Spongbob

In a large underground bunker, several people could be seated as they stared at a middle-aged man who was explaining something on a large holographic screen, two Asian brothers looked exactly alike but just that one had his hair white whilst the other had his hair to be black, there was also a white handsome man with silver hair and and a scar on his eye, a very beautiful white woman and a black muscular man with a tattoo of a flame on both his arms.

"You have been chosen to protect the world from certain threats, now you will introduce yourself one by one starting with you" The middle-aged man said as he pointed to the white man who stood up with a serious expression.

"My name is Michael Barnes and It is my pleasure to work with you" The white man said with a serious expression as he scanned the faces of the others.

"Oh, so you are that guy" The first Asian with white hair said with a smirk.

"Excuse me" Micheal said as he glanced at him with furrowed brows.

"Definitely that guy" The other Asian with black hair said with a grin.

"Which guy?" Micheal asked with a confused expression.

"You" The white-haired asian replied with a grin.

"Me?" Michael asked with more confusion.

"That guy" The black haired asian said with a smile.

"Which guy?" Michael asked as his voice had a hint of anger.

"You, hehehehe" The brothers answered at the same time with a laugh.

"So you guys were fucking with me, you two pieces of shit" Michael said with as a vein bulged on his forehead.

"I am Bai Wang or White Fang" The white-haired asian said with a smirk.

"And I am Hei Wang or black fang" The black-haired asian also said with a grin.

"And together we are the Wang brothers" They both said in unison.

"Shut up and sit down, we aren't shooting a commercial" The middle-aged man said with a scowl.

"Hahaha, you guys are funny, my name's Henry Chase or you can just call me the pulverizer, hehehe" The black man said with a grin as he winked at the woman.

"My name is Racheal Bennett or you can just call me Flair" The woman also winked back with an enchanting smile.

"Good, now that you are all familiar with yourself, what are your abilities?" The middle-aged man asked.

"I can manipulate lightning" Michael said as lightning flickered across his hands.

"I can turn my skin into any material I touch" Henry said as he touched the steel table and his body took on a shiny luster as his skin turned into steel before returning to normal.

"I can manipulate light" Bai Wang said as a shiny light appeared on his palm.

"Don't underestimate his light, it's capable of melting through several inches of refined steel easily" The middle-aged man said with a shake of his head, he knew how dangerous he was.

"I can manipulate darkness, it's capable of corroding several substances" Hei Wang also said with a mysterious smile as his palm lit up with a ball of darkness, he said it like it was nothing but everyone could see that it wasn't as simple as 'several substances'.

"I can manipulate ice" Rachael also said as her eyes turned blue and the whole room turned chilly but it immediately turned back to normal.

"My name is Colonel Barnes but I know some of you would know me as Lionheart" The middle-aged man said with a smile.

"You mean 'The Lionheart'?" Henry asked with shock as he stared at him.

"In the flesh" Lionheart answered with a grin.

"Whoa you are practically a legend, I doubt anyone in this room wouldn't know you" The two brothers said with respect, who hadn't heard of Lionheart who slaughtered his enemies like cattle, he was so strong that he was feared by almost all.

"Wait, Colonel Barnes, Micheal Barnes, is there some sort of connection?" Rachael asked with a strange expression.

"Yes Micheal is my son and many know him as El Panthera" Lionheart answered with a nod.

"Whoa, shit two legends in the same room as me, what is going on" Henry said with a smirk as he glanced at Micheal who shook his head, you could see that he wasn't planning to reveal his identity.

"Now that you know who you will be working with, follow me, I will show you where you will be staying until your first mission" Lionheart said as he walked up to the door and opened it with a facial scan then walked out with the others.

"This will be your training area, you can train your speed, strength, endurance, and even your ability here" Lionheart explained as he pointed at a huge room where several white-clothed scientists could be seen walking around.

"This will be your cafeteria where you can order anything you want" Lionheart said after walking for some time as he pointed at another big room where several tables and chairs could be seen with a large screen.

"This will be your lounge where you can play games or chat or do any other thing" Lionheart said again as they arrived at another large room where several entertainment materials could be found.

"This will be your sleeping areas" Lionheart finally stopped at a huge corridor with several rooms.

"You can get to most of the areas in this facility since you have been scanned and your data has been imprinted onto the computer so all you need is a simple facial scan" Lionheart explained as they all listened attentively.

"Do you have any questions?" Lionheart asked as he glanced at them but then a hand immediately shot up.

"Yes, what is it Bai?" Lionheart asked with a tired expression, he knew that he was about to ask a stupid question.

"What is the name of our taskforce?" Bai asked with a serious expression.

"Huh, it's called Taskforce Ourobouros" Lionheart said at the same time with Bai who said a totally different thing.

"Taskforce SpongeBob" Bai said with a grin.

"What?, no it's called Taskforce Ourobouros" Lionheart said with a scowl.

"I think Taskforce SpongeBob sounds better" Hei inputted with a smile.

"No it doesn't, that doesn't even make sense" Michael said with mockery.

"Yes it does, I mean who doesn't like SpongeBob" Bai said with sarcasm.

"Hmm, it does sound kind of nice" Henry said with a thoughtful expression.

"See even he thinks it's okay" Hei said with a scowl.

"No it isn't, we are not using that name" Michael said with anger as he glared at them.

"Everyone likes it so why shouldn't we?" Bai asked with a smirk.

"What do you think Racheal?" Michael asked with a serious expression.

"I think it's good" Racheal answered with a smile.

"What not you too, Dad tell them" Michael said furiously as he glanced at his father.

"Hmm, I guess the majority wins the vote, don't be such a sucker son, I mean everyone loves SpongeBob" Lionheart replied with a wink as he patted his son's shoulder with a smile.

"Yeah don't be a sucker El Panthera" Bai and Hei said with a mocking smile which earned them a glare from Micheal.

"Dad you can't be serious, what would everyone think when we go on a mission, we can't just be like 'Hello everyone it's Taskforce SpongeBob and we are here to save you', what would they think?" Micheal asked with furrowed brows.

"Son I have been telling you, it doesn't matter what the public says, your teammates's choice should matter more" Lionheart said with a serious expression.

"That honestly doesn't make sense" Michael said with a helpless expression.

"I know son, now get some sleep it's a big day tomorrow" Lionheart said with a smile then left.

"Wow, what an eccentric man" Henry said as he walked to one of the rooms.

"I heard that, there is one more person I forgot to mention, you will meet him tomorrow" Lionheart said with a chuckle as he walked away.

"I wonder who it is" Micheal said with a thoughtful expression as he walked into his room, his father didn't mention who it was to him so even he was curious.

"Oh shit, what the.." Micheal said speechlessly as he entered and saw the appearance of the room, it was very large compared to its exterior view and very well furnished with various gadgets, there were game consoles, TV sets, a master bed with various controls, a personal training room, and many more.

"Wow, now this is the life" Michael said with a smile as he lay on his bed.

"Yes, who is it?" Michael said grumpily as he stood up and walked to his door.

"Sorry to disturb you Sir Michael but your father has called for an emergency meeting" A Soldier said respectfully when Michael opened the door, behind him was the rest of the team.

"Already, what is this about" Michael said with a frown as they followed the soldier.

"We don't know, we are as clueless as you" Henry answered with a shake of his head.

After walking for some time, they arrived at a door that had several locks which took the soldier 5 minutes to unlock.

"Why does it have so many locks, could it be..." Michael said to himself quietly as they entered, after entering, they arrived at a huge hall that had several advanced gadgets and technology.

"Sorry to call for you on such short notice" Lionheart said with a serious expression which made all of them tense.

"So why did you call us?" Michael asked after some time when his father didn't say anything.

"Oh that was just a drill, you can leave now" Lionheart replied with a wave of his hand.

"What?, this was just a drill?" Bai said speechlessly, even though he was stunned.

"Then why the plenty locks on the door" Michael asked with a surprised expression.

"Oh that was just Charlie, he made a mistake with the building plan" Lionheart replied as he pointed at a soldier.

"Sorry for that" The soldier said with an embarrassed expression.

"Okay then I'm going to bed" Henry said as he turned to leave.

"Me too" Rachael also said with a yawn.

"See you tomorrow Dad" Michael said with a shake of his head, his father was just too weird at times, were they high school kids, why a drill?

"What the?...is this also a drill?" Rachael asked as a loud alarm sounded.

"No, it's not, Sir you have to see this" A scientist said with a look of shock as he waved his hand and projected two images on a large screen.

"Oh shit, how is this possible?" Lionheart said with a look of horror.

"Um, what exactly are we looking at?" Henry asked as he stared at the two images cluelessly, the first image was like a satellite pic of a large area with few red dots and the second was of the same image but the number of red dots had suddenly multiplied by several folds.

"This is the satellite image of Zone 1 in the badlands, those red dots represent enemy targets 2 days ago" The scientist explained as he pointed at the first image with few dots.

"And this is the same location today" The scientist finished as he then pointed at the second image.

"How come they suddenly multiplied, but that isn't something to be so worked up about" Hei said with a frown.

"Oh when he said enemy targets, he meant Rank 5 and above" Lionheart said with a calm expression.

"What!" The 5 of them exclaimed at the same time, the information was too shocking.

"This is bad, so many of them, if they decide to lay a siege on us, there will be numerous casualties" Michael said with furrowed brows.

"Exactly, well it seems like you have gotten your first assignment" Lionheart said with a grin.

"What do you mean first assignment?, this is a fucking suicide mission?" Bai said with disbelief.

"I know and that's why you are the best of the best, you will leave in three days so get some rest, we will discuss the plans tomorrow" Lionheart said with a wave of his hand as he walked over to the scientist and started discussing something.

"Well, I better get some sleep" Racheal said as they all left.

"Huu, sir are you sure they can do this?" The scientist asked after they had left.

"Trust me, there is no one fit for this job than them, dual-abilities are as rare as a dragon's egg" Lionheart said with a laugh.
