James glanced at William, clear disdain flashing in his eyes. "And you must be Mister Belmont."

"Yes."

"Are you sure you wish to go through with this?... There will be no backing off once the contest starts."

"I don't intend to do so." William calmly replied.

Though he knew the man was mocking him, he already expected it.

James snorted derisively at William's foolishness as he turned and walked away. "Fool."

He walked over to where there were five glass stands with objects covered in thick clothes.

"What do you mean we can't pass?" Victoria asked in vague annoyance to the rather rude guard."Did I have water in my mouth?... Exactly what I said!... You can't pass." William furrowed his brows, unwilling to trade words with the annoying figure but knowing he had to."Is it because we have an entry pass?" William inquired. "Hmmph, so you have some common sense after all. Noone is allowed to go past this gate without an entry pass. If you want to pass, purchase one and if you want to access to the auction, then you'll need to purchase a golden ticket.""How much are they?""Hmmph, I doubt he'd be able to afford it darling, why don't you come with me?"William and Victoria shifted their gazes only to find an unknown man, dressed in rather extravagant attire, approaching with a smug grin on his face.Accompanied by two women already, William didn't know why but he had a feeling that what was about to happen would be quite annoying to handle.***Trevor was a member of one of the hidd

It reeked of a ploy and William wasn't about to be made fool of with one. He was hardly in the right frame of mind to tolerate nonsense from anyone, especially one that was trying to pull a fast one over him.Watching Darcy veritably draw the attention of bystanders while claiming he ruined her jade pot that was worth more than 10 million dollars, William restrained the urge to call her out for her bullshit. He'd already messed up once due to his anger, he wasn't about to do so again.Taking a deep breath, William made to speak. "Ma'am, I don't believe you understand that I am not the one at fault for ruining the pot. You walked into me.""Lies!... He is trying to trick us!... Someone tell him to pay up or else I'll…" she left the rest unsaid as numerous bystanders began to speak up."Yeah man, pay up already.""How dare you come in here and make trouble. Apologize and pay up right now!""Pay up or get beaten!" Victoria grew worried seeing as the crowd were incensed, following the w
