Luke enters his aunt's hospital room and shuts the door behind him. The sight that greeted him upon opening the door was quite surprising.

His aunt lay motionless underneath her covers. Her skin appears pale and lifeless. A thin layer of sweat covered her forehead. He could see beads of perspiration forming on her brow and running down her cheeks.

"Auntie?" Luke calls out to her.

His aunt didn't respond.

"Don't tell me that you've already kicked the bucket."

Still nothing. Luke walks over to her bedside and gently touches her arm. She doesn't stir.

He takes his finger and places them on her neck. She was still breathing but he doubted that she would live for much longer.

"What do I do?" He whispers to himself.

If she died here and now, he couldn't let anyone know. Not unless he wanted to be locked up in this place forever. And besides, he hadn't gotten what he came for yet.

Making a quick decision in his mind, Luke takes the syringe that he had stored in his clothes and injects the contents into his aunt's vein. There was no noticeable reaction as he injected the drug into his aunt's system.

After injecting the syringe, Luke stores it back in his clothes and turns his back to her motionless body.

"Well, I guess this is my cue to leave." Luke remarks as he begins to walk out of the room.

Just as he reaches the doorway however, he stops dead in his tracks when he hears a voice from behind the door.

Swinging his head around, Luke looks for a place that he could hide himself.

Looking around, Luke found that there was no place that he could hide himself except for a small bathroom within the room. Knowing that this was his only option, he runs for the bathroom making sure not to make any noise and locks the door from within.

Inside the tiny room,he can hear the door to the room open and a couple of footsteps approaching.

"Gosh. I didn't expect her to look so awful. Is she really alright? Maybe we should call someone."

Luke hears his sister talking to another person.

"No, don't bother. If she doesn't make it, it will be to our benefit. If anything, this will be a great chance for us."

Luke listens closely as his sister and cousin speak. "These two are truly despicable. Unlike me, they were treated with nothing but kindness, yet here they are. Wishing for their own benefactor's death." Luke thought to himself as he continued to listen in on their conversation.

"Once she croaks, We will be able to take control of everything that she has left us in the will. She hasn't changed it in years so we each should get 25% of her company." His sister continues.

Luke had never heard of this will as he hadn't been included in any important matters like this. That leaves us with 50% and my brother with only 25%. And with Luke unaware of his portion, it will be simple to claim his as well, giving us 75% of the company."

"Its like stealing candy from a baby." The girls laugh as the formulate their plans.

Luke's eyes light up as he hears this. He was in his aunt's will?!

"If I truly do have a portion of her company, that means that I still have a chance to take everything from them. Even if it's just my 25% to theirs and my brothers, I still have a shot. They won't suspect a thing." Luke thinks to himself excitedly.

And as he does so, the box returns with a message.

You have successfully completed your first mission: Now awaiting mission rewards. Please be patient.

"Awaiting rewards? I wonder what it could be? If it's anything like what it used to fix my body, it will no doubt be useful. Perhaps even more than I am expecting." He ponders as he awaits further news.

His family eventually leaves and he takes this chance to return to his room.

Three weeks had passed since the events that transpired between him and his Aunt. Luke knew that his aunt had little time to live and he waited in anticipation for the time to claim his inheritance.

Although he had expected her to die sooner rather than later due to his actions, It still took a reasonable amount of time until the day came.

He had been released from the hospital the week prior and had returned to his small run down apartment. After having spent most of his money on medical bills, he had to sell off all of his possessions and pawned his car. He now walked everywhere as he made his way to the office building where he worked.

The work itself wasn't too taxing and he was grateful to receive a paycheck every month. It helped him stay afloat and provided him with the necessities such as food and rent. But he had always hated the idea that all of his hard work was for the benefit of his family, and yet they kept him at such a low position.

Everyday was the same routine. Wake up early in the morning, go to work, come home late at night and repeat. He was beginning to feel very bored by life and was looking forward to the reward that he was promised. He had yet to obtain anything from bubbles, but assumed that his reward would coincide with his inheritance.

On the third day following his release from the hospital, Luke wakes up earlier than usual. He decides to take advantage of this extra time and goes downstairs to grab a cup of coffee.

While waiting for his drink to cool, Luke notices something odd on the table beside his chair.

Upon closer inspection, he finds a small piece of paper sitting on top of a large envelope. Curious, Luke picks up the note and reads through it.

"Dear Luke,

I am pleased to see that you have not disappointed me. I hope you enjoy your new job and wish you luck with your future endeavors. sincerely, Your admirer"

"What the hell is this all about? Who could possibly send me a letter like this?" Luke questions as he holds the note close to his face.

"Maybe it's a prank? Or maybe someone sent it to me as part of some sick joke." Luke muses while stuffing the note into his pocket. "And did they know what he did?"

As he sits there thinking about who or why these people would send him such a letter, he takes a look at his watch and sees how late it's become. He rushes out the front doors of the building and begins walking towards the train station.

  • Something Only He Can Do

The passenger side door swings open to reveal A thin passenger with long hair tied up into a ponytail. He was dressed casually in a white collared shirt and black slacks. "Welcome back brother. You made quite the entrance I must say." Jonathan said with a smile from within the vehicle. "So how was your vacation?" Luke looked at his brother with disdain, "What are you doing here!? Why did you have to show up now!?" He growls angrily. "That's a silly question. I'm just here to pick up my brother and his companion." His older brother explained, "why don't you have a seat so that we can catch up. It's about time that we have a talk." Jonathan suggests with a grin while gesturing with his hand out towards the passenger seat. "Don't get your hopes up. I wouldn't ride in the same space as you if you paid me to." Luke retorted coldly. "How about you run on home and wait for me to tear you down, just like I did with Marilyn." Luke tells him with a scowl. "I'm sorry to hear that, but I don

  • Home Sweet Home

Luke watched on in shame at the mess taking place in front of him. The room was already cluttered as is with the bodies of the guests scattered about, but now Ella and Le were making an even bigger mess of things. And all over a single bottle of liquor. "Haha, your going to have to try harder if you want to catch me." Ella remarked as she kept away from Lee while holding on to the bottle loosely in her hands. "You think you're funny!?" Lee huffed in frustration as he attempted to tackle her but she effortlessly dodged him and quickly disappeared behind the bar. "Ha Ha Ha! Very cute Lee." She taunted him as she tipped the bottle upside down, allowing the liquid to flow down into two glasses. She handed one of them to him with an amused look before downing her own glass in an instant. "Hey! You can't just drink it like that! It's not a shot!" He said while pointing his finger accusingly at her. "Oh yeah? Well I don't have any patience today so I'm going to just drink it however I d

  • One Last Drink

A week and a half passes and Luke, Ella and Lee are now able to see land. It wouldn't be long now until they were back on solid ground. "Ahhh, Doesn't it just look so nice?" Ella exclaimed joyfully while looking out the transparent plane covering their room. Her eyes were fixated on the land as if it was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen. Luke couldn't help but laugh at her enthusiasm, but he also found it somewhat amusing seeing her this way given how much she had been through recently. "When I get back I'm going to take a nice long bath with extra bubbles and candles. Maybe even light some incense while I soak under the starry sky. Then I'll get out and dry off slowly while laying out by a pool somewhere in the desert with an ice cold beer in my hand." Ella continued on with her fantasy. "What about you half-pint? Are you going to go back to your family to tell them what happened? I'm sure that they would want to know how their youngest son almost died on his business tri

  • Announcement

"So how long do you think it will take before we set foot on solid ground again? I'm starting to get a little nauseous." Ella said while looking down at her stomach. "Not too long I hope." Luke replied while staring ahead at the transparent plane covering the room. It's been a little over a week since we set off, so I would guess that it would take around the same time going back" He told her while scanning through different screens on the walls. "At this rate, my boredom is going to kill me before Jonathan can get the chance. I can only sit here so long without going insane." Luke complained with a groan, as he sat down in one of the seats. "I need something to read, or do... anything would be nice" Luke added as he began scanning around the room for any kind of entertainment that might be lying around. Searching the cluttered floor, Luke spotted a few different magazines that were spread open on the ground. grabbing a few of them, Luke tossed one of them over to Ella as he began

  • Back On Track

Ella follows Luke as he opens the door leading further ahead inside the ship. Covering their eyes to shield themselves from the sudden increase in brightness, The duo enter into the vessels bridge. The sun is raised high in the sky outside, and the warm air from the heat vents makes itself known throughout the ship, creating a strong contrast against the dimly lit interior of the ship. "This thing looks like it's straight out of the 2000's." Ella mumbled aloud as she followed behind Luke, staring down at the small computer consoles on the wall before them and their array of buttons and dials. Luke turned around and nodded while he scanned through the screens and monitors displayed in front of him on the wall. "I hope this isn't as complicated as it looks." He said as he reached out his hand and pressed a few buttons on the panel in front of him, causing the ship's lights to brighten up. "I guess I know what this does now. Hmmm, Let me check on some things real quick." Luke tells her

  • It's Not Over

Turning his back to his sister's unmoving form, Luke walked over to where Ella stood and wrapped his arms around her. Once again, he had managed to find his way back to the path that his brother had set for him. He was finally beginning to take control of his life and destiny and yet, once again he found himself on the verge of losing it all. "What is wrong with me?" Luke whispers into Ella's ear while tightening their embrace. His hands shaking as he attempted to calm himself down, but the thought of what he just did continued to plague his mind and make him panic. "I killed Marilyn. Ella could feel his hands
