Luke takes the bag and tucks it away inside one of the drawers in the room. He then removes his bandages and makes his way out of the room in search of something to contain the liquid as his aunt had done.

Once outside, Luke is quickly spotted by a nearby nurse who rushes to intercept him.

"Wait, you shouldn't be up just yet, You're still heavily injured."

The young nurse looks at him with great concern. He had just fallen from a roof and his body was a mess. She had no idea how he had the strength to stand despite how painful it would be to simply move.

"Oh please, I'm just fine. Besides, I'm just trying to get something to drink. I'll be back once I'm done. Can you give me directions?" Luke asks politely.

The nurse hesitates for a moment, unsure whether or not she should allow him to leave. But seeing that he looked perfectly healthy, she decided that it was probably okay.

"Follow the hall straight to your left and take the stairs two floors down. Make sure to use the handrail and watch your footing. Once you reach the bottom floor, continue walking towards the center of the room. That will lead you to the cafeteria."

"Thank you very much." Luke says gratefully.

The nurse smiles and gives a slight wave goodbye.

Luke follows her instructions carefully, making sure that he doesn't trip on the way down. As he approaches the last flight of stairs, he notices that the hallway leading to the staircase is empty except for him. This gave him plenty of opportunity to sneak past without anyone noticing.

Instead of going to the cafeteria, Luke goes out to find a syringe to hold the fluid from his room.

"Now where would they keep those in this hospital?" Luke wondered aloud as he wandered around aimlessly. Eventually, after searching all of the rooms that contained medical supplies, Luke finds what he's looking for.

In one corner of the supply closet, a large plastic container with several drawers labeled 'Needles & Syringes'. Inside the container is a variety of needles and syringes ranging in size from 1ml to 10 ml. There were also a couple of smaller containers which held various types of medication and ointments.

Luke grabs the largest needle, tucking it away in his clothes and heads back to the room. Upon entering the room, Luke takes care to make sure nobody else is present as he brings out the IV bag and pulls the liquid inside of the newly collected syringe.

"I wonder what this stuff even is? But I guess I'll find out soon enough. For now though, it's best to put this somewhere safe."

Luke disposes of the IV in the trash can and places the filled syringe underneath his pillow, before lying back down in his bed. It would be in his best interest if No one knew that he was healed just yet.

Several days passed since Luke received his mission and he had been patiently waiting for a chance to complete it. He was in no rush and he was used to being alone. Although, he was a bit surprised that none of his sisters, brothers or even parents came to visit him.

"It would at least do them good to keep up appearances, but I guess I'm just not worth the trouble." He thinks to himself while staring out the window.

But soon, he hears a knock coming from the outside of the room.

"It must be the nurses again. Come on in!"

Luke sighs as he grants his visitor permission to enter.

As the door opens, Luke sees a middle aged man standing there. The man's face looks disgruntled as he stares at Luke.

"Am I not even worth a simple greeting now father." Luke says sarcastically.

"How dare you talk to your Father like that," the man snaps back. You stupid boy! Do you know how much trouble you got us into because of this stunt?!"

"Oh yeah. How bad was it for you? Did it ruin your oh so perfect image?"

"You insolent brat! I only came to check on you to tell you that your aunt had passed out. If you have any decency left in your body, you will go and check on her. It's the least you can do." the man shouts.

"Really! What happened?" Luke asks in an attempt to hide his joy.

Ignoring his rude son's behavior Luke's father tells him what happened.

"She collapsed while she was cleaning her house. Apparently, her heart stopped beating for a moment and her breathing became shallow. She's currently resting in one of the rooms below yours. How about you at least attempt to be a good son for once and visit her. I'm sure she'd appreciate it."

"Yeah right. I'll think about it later. Now if you wouldn't mind. This injured patient also needs time to rest." Luke replied coldly.

"Fine. Have it your way." the man retorts as he leaves the room.

Luke lays back down on his bed, letting out a huge sigh of relief. At last, he gets a chance to fulfill his promise. and in a turn of fate, He can even give it to her just as she had done him.

Watching closely outside of his window, He waits to see his father leave the hospital so that he can make his move undetected. He needed to make sure that whatever he did, went unnoticed. especially from his family.

Luke had waited for almost half an hour before his father had finally driven out from the lot. Quickly taking the syringe from underneath his pillow, He takes one last glance outside before making for the door.

He slowly exits his room and closes the door behind him, careful not to make any noise that might attract attention. Making sure not to meet anyone's gaze, Luke heads down one floor and makes his way to his Aunt's room. It was time for some payback.

  • Something Only He Can Do

The passenger side door swings open to reveal A thin passenger with long hair tied up into a ponytail. He was dressed casually in a white collared shirt and black slacks. "Welcome back brother. You made quite the entrance I must say." Jonathan said with a smile from within the vehicle. "So how was your vacation?" Luke looked at his brother with disdain, "What are you doing here!? Why did you have to show up now!?" He growls angrily. "That's a silly question. I'm just here to pick up my brother and his companion." His older brother explained, "why don't you have a seat so that we can catch up. It's about time that we have a talk." Jonathan suggests with a grin while gesturing with his hand out towards the passenger seat. "Don't get your hopes up. I wouldn't ride in the same space as you if you paid me to." Luke retorted coldly. "How about you run on home and wait for me to tear you down, just like I did with Marilyn." Luke tells him with a scowl. "I'm sorry to hear that, but I don

  • Home Sweet Home

Luke watched on in shame at the mess taking place in front of him. The room was already cluttered as is with the bodies of the guests scattered about, but now Ella and Le were making an even bigger mess of things. And all over a single bottle of liquor. "Haha, your going to have to try harder if you want to catch me." Ella remarked as she kept away from Lee while holding on to the bottle loosely in her hands. "You think you're funny!?" Lee huffed in frustration as he attempted to tackle her but she effortlessly dodged him and quickly disappeared behind the bar. "Ha Ha Ha! Very cute Lee." She taunted him as she tipped the bottle upside down, allowing the liquid to flow down into two glasses. She handed one of them to him with an amused look before downing her own glass in an instant. "Hey! You can't just drink it like that! It's not a shot!" He said while pointing his finger accusingly at her. "Oh yeah? Well I don't have any patience today so I'm going to just drink it however I d

  • One Last Drink

A week and a half passes and Luke, Ella and Lee are now able to see land. It wouldn't be long now until they were back on solid ground. "Ahhh, Doesn't it just look so nice?" Ella exclaimed joyfully while looking out the transparent plane covering their room. Her eyes were fixated on the land as if it was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen. Luke couldn't help but laugh at her enthusiasm, but he also found it somewhat amusing seeing her this way given how much she had been through recently. "When I get back I'm going to take a nice long bath with extra bubbles and candles. Maybe even light some incense while I soak under the starry sky. Then I'll get out and dry off slowly while laying out by a pool somewhere in the desert with an ice cold beer in my hand." Ella continued on with her fantasy. "What about you half-pint? Are you going to go back to your family to tell them what happened? I'm sure that they would want to know how their youngest son almost died on his business tri

  • Announcement

"So how long do you think it will take before we set foot on solid ground again? I'm starting to get a little nauseous." Ella said while looking down at her stomach. "Not too long I hope." Luke replied while staring ahead at the transparent plane covering the room. It's been a little over a week since we set off, so I would guess that it would take around the same time going back" He told her while scanning through different screens on the walls. "At this rate, my boredom is going to kill me before Jonathan can get the chance. I can only sit here so long without going insane." Luke complained with a groan, as he sat down in one of the seats. "I need something to read, or do... anything would be nice" Luke added as he began scanning around the room for any kind of entertainment that might be lying around. Searching the cluttered floor, Luke spotted a few different magazines that were spread open on the ground. grabbing a few of them, Luke tossed one of them over to Ella as he began

  • Back On Track

Ella follows Luke as he opens the door leading further ahead inside the ship. Covering their eyes to shield themselves from the sudden increase in brightness, The duo enter into the vessels bridge. The sun is raised high in the sky outside, and the warm air from the heat vents makes itself known throughout the ship, creating a strong contrast against the dimly lit interior of the ship. "This thing looks like it's straight out of the 2000's." Ella mumbled aloud as she followed behind Luke, staring down at the small computer consoles on the wall before them and their array of buttons and dials. Luke turned around and nodded while he scanned through the screens and monitors displayed in front of him on the wall. "I hope this isn't as complicated as it looks." He said as he reached out his hand and pressed a few buttons on the panel in front of him, causing the ship's lights to brighten up. "I guess I know what this does now. Hmmm, Let me check on some things real quick." Luke tells her

Ella could feel his hands
