Stepping out, Jonathan Jacobs was met with the worst possible scene he could imagine.

Jonathan Jacobs' gaze fell on the manager of Lex Suites as she commanded her guards to beat up and restrain Stiles.

His demeanour immediately changed from anxiety to anger.

Clenching his fist, he immediately walked over to the manager and before she could say a word, he immediately hooked her by her shirt and slammed her against the wall.

"Do you realise what you have done?"

Jonathan Jacobs asked his voice was vehement and laced with a mixture of authority and anger.

The guards stopped harassing Stiles and stared at Jonathan Jacobs.

They all knew him as the boss.

"Way let me remind you…you all have just lost your jobs as we speak and any further chances of getting employed by any company on this continent."

His words came as a shock to the 3 guards, Sophia, the female guard walked closer to Jonathan Jacobs.

"Boss… I don't und…"

A heavy blow from Jonathan Jacobs sent her flying to the gates.

Rushing to Stiles, Jonathan Jacobs helped him stand up and dusted his clothes.

"Young master, which one of them assaulted you first?"

Jonathan Jacobs immediately asked, his eyes burning red hot in rage.

Stiles immediately pointed at Sophia.

Jonathan Jacobs immediately rushed Sophia again and gave her a resounding slap that disrupted her plastic face.

"How dare you lay your filthy low-life hands on young master?…don't you realise that he is the owner of these suites?"

Upon hearing that, the whole guards fell on the floor and crawled towards Stiles and started pleading for mercy.

Stiles only just stared down upon them, his gaze moved from them to Jonathan Jacobs.

"You all should do more than pleading and crying…you all just embarrassed your overall boss."

Jonathan Jacobs immediately added as he bent down and wiped the dust off Stile's old loafers.

"Young master, what should I do to them?"

Jonathan Jacobs immediately asked, his voice still laced with anger.

Stiles without sparing them a glance said, " I think your decision to fire them instantly is good."

"Especially that plastic face brat, she was the one that gave me a slap even before I could say a word."

Stiles said as he walked over to Sophia and raised his hand to return the hot slap to her but suddenly changed his mind.

"You know what, Jonathan Jacobs, just dismiss them from here, and don't pay them this month's salary…that should teach them not to mess with any stranger that they see."

With that said, Jonathan Jacobs had the guards dismissed as he and Stiles entered the elevator and went up to the private office upstairs.

The elevator glass was a transparent one, and the elites that saw Jonathan Jacobs with Stiles looking all 3rd class started their usual side talks.

"What is Jonathan Jacobs doing with that poor boy?"

"I think he wants to employ him or something."

The side talks were loud enough for Stiles and Jonathan Jacobs to hear from the glass elevator as they ascended to the last floor.

"What was it that you wanted to show me?"

Stiles immediately asked, his voice barely above whispers as he watched himself in the mirror placed in the elevator.

Jonathan Jacobs immediately stared at him before answering.

"Young master, I think we are onto something."

"I think we might have stumbled upon a lead that could take us straight to those who murdered your mom."

The words of Jonathan Jacobs hit Stiles immediately causing him to stare deeply into his eyes.

"Are you sure of this intel?"

Stiles immediately asked, his voice laced with a mixture of anxiety and trepidation.

"Yes, your dad and I sourced this information from a very reliable source."

"This lead is all we need to finally solve this mystery plot behind your mom's sudden demise."

"I hope this plan of yours works as you have said."

Stiles said as the elevator continued its journey.

"So how is your stay at Thomas's so far?"

"Hope you have suffered enough and enough and you are now ready to relocate to the mansion."

Jonathan Jacobs said jokingly but his face said the exact opposite of what he said.

Stiles stared at him, his eyes widened and transformed into a gleeful smile.

"Hey, can I ask you an honest question?"

"Go ahead, young master."

Jonathan Jacobs immediately replied as he smiled gleefully exposing his white dentition.

"How do you know when a lady truly likes you?"

Stiles asked his voice was barely above whispers as he stared at Jonathan Jacobs expecting a sincere response.

Jonathan Jacobs stared at him and immediately replied, "I really don't know."

"I have never truly seen a lady who loves me before, so I really can't tell you anything about that."

"I think you should talk to your dad about it, he and your mom used to be great lovers before her sudden and unexplainable demise."

Jonathan Jacobs said as the elevator came to a halt.

The both of them walked right through the elevator and a man bumped into Stiles and entered the elevator without staring back at them.

"What was that?"

Jonathan Jacobs immediately asked, his voice was laced with curiosity.

"I don't know, some weird dude in a hoodie just bumped into me intentionally and walked straight into the elevator."

Stiles said as he and Jonathan Jacobs stared at the guy in the elevator.

"Let's go, I will look him up later from our security camera, how the hell did he even get access to this restricted area?"

Jonathan Jacobs immediately vented as he took Stiles' palm and placed it on the biometric scanner on the door.

The door immediately opened revealing an office with a sit-out private lounge.

Picking up his tablet immediately, Jonathan Jacobs immediately handed it over to Stiles.

"Young master! You have got to see this…"

He barely registered Miss Laura's presence as he shoved past her, heading straight for the garage door. The cold metal felt like a barricade to the truth, and he needed answers, now. His heart hammered in his chest, every step more frantic than the last. He reached the door, and before he could push it open, Mr Jonathan caught up to him, grabbing his arm."Stiles, slow down. We need to think this through." His voice was calm, controlled, but the anxiety in his eyes betrayed him."I can’t.I have to find my father.”Stiles replied, his voice tight with urgency. The door creaked as Stiles swung it open, his breath catching in his throat. The garage was dark, the air stale with the scent of oil and dust. His eyes scanned the room, but it was empty, save for a few parked cars and scattered tools. No sign of his father."Where is he?.”Stiles muttered to himself, stepping further into the room, his hand grazing the cold metal of a car door."Stiles, we don’t even know if he’s in here, this i

Raya finally turned her head, meeting his gaze. Her eyes were hollow, distant, like she was looking through him rather than at him. “Explain? What is there to explain, Stiles? You don’t get to just walk in here like everything’s fine. Not after what you did.”Stiles’s heart clenched at the weight in her voice. She was breaking, but the walls around her were solid as ever.“I didn’t…” His voice faltered. He didn’t know how to make her see. How to make her believe him when every word she’d heard painted him as the villain.“I didn’t mean for it to happen. I never wanted to hurt you, Raya. I swear, I…”“Enough,I don’t want to hear it. You made your choices. You made your bed. Now lie in it.”Raya cut him off, her voice quiet but firm. Her words were like a slap, and they stung worse than anything she could have thrown at him.
