Desmond had been thinking for quite some time. Even when Isabella returned to the dining table, the young man was still deep in thought.

Anabelle and Jupiter waited curiously for Desmond's answer, while Isabella asked Maria what had happened.

After a long ten minutes had passed, Desmond realised that he wouldn't be leaving here until the system gave him the go-ahead, meaning he wouldn't be returning to the dungeon. Therefore, while waiting, he realised that training someone else wouldn't be too difficult, apart from training himself.

The young man took a deep breath and said, as if giving up, "All right, I'll teach you everything I know for a month. However, it's been less than a year since I started training in magic. Although there's only about a month and a half left till the year cycle for me, I'll still help you during that time."

His words seemed to delight Annabelle and Jupiter. Desmond, on the other hand, rolled his eyes as if he had brought trouble upon himself.

Desmond had already had his breakfast and had been standing in the middle of his alchemy area for nearly five hours. The formula he had created was proceeding without a hitch. Absolutely.Desmond had thought he would succeed on his seventh attempt and was delighted, and indeed he would. The liquid inside the cauldron had begun to slowly turn a pale green. Perhaps three, perhaps two minutes remained. The young man spent this time carefully, trying not to move even for a second. He just waited at the cauldron. With each passing second, the liquid inside the cauldron turned a brighter green, and indeed, within a short time, it had turned completely bright green. With that, the potion was complete.Desmond calmly used his mana to cover all the liquid inside the cauldron and began slowly pouring the potion liquid into the bottles he had placed on the table. After finishing this process, he removed every alchemy ingredient from the tables, then closed the caps of the bottles and placed them

  • Quick Help

The young man had been busy chopping ingredients on his alchemy bench for some time. He had already mixed many ingredients and left the potion itself to simmer and form. Only occasionally, perhaps every twenty or thirty minutes, did he need to add a few drops of monster blood to the cauldron. He was busy cutting the ingredients with a very sharp knife.Strangely, he had developed a craving for dragon meat. So he took a piece of ancient dragon meat from his inventory and, using another knife, chopped it up and began cooking it in a small oven he had also taken from his inventory.Dragon meat was a strange meat that could be easily peeled even if it burned, so Desmond didn't need to worry too much about it.He watched what Annabelle was doing on one hand, while continuing to chop the ingredients on the other.Annabelle was actually doing a much better job than he had thought. To be precise, even though the young girl didn't understand the first thing about fire, thanks to the circle of

  • You Don't Even Know What You Don't Know

“First, tell me what you know about the elements. For example, the blood element. What do you feel when you use this element? What thoughts arise? What do you know about this element?” Desmond had questioned her.Although his question surprised Annabelle, the young girl thought for just a few seconds and then began to speak as if she had found her answer:“Blood… It’s pure. The essence of everyone, the very fluid in their bodies. One of the building blocks of mortal life. What I feel when I use blood... It's like being a sacred being. Not a god or goddess! I wouldn't dare... Just a strange feeling, as if I couldn't understand what mortals are."After Annabelle's words, Desmond shook his head and then said, "You can understand the feelings of your own element, your true base element. You can sense that strange feeling it gives you. It's a situation that measures how you use that element."He didn't stop there and immediately launched into a deeper explanation:"Did you know that no mat

  • Master and Student

After a brief clean-up, Desmond unlocked the door to the training area he had locked himself into. Upon doing so, he encountered four people waiting for him outside. Two of them were Isabella and Maria. The other two were people Desmond did not recognise. When the young man looked at the four of them to understand what was happening, he noticed that everyone, including Isabella, who was probably the strongest among them, was standing anxiously. The four looked at each other for a moment, but soon their gaze returned to Desmond."What's going on?" asked Desmond. This was the third time he had felt these kinds of looks, and it was really starting to bother him.At Desmond's question, Isabella took a few steps forward from where she stood and asked politely, "Are you angry about something, Duke Moon?" The Vampire Duchess had chosen to speak with a respectful tone this time.Desmond tilted his head and questioned, "No? What could I possibly be angry about?"These words did little to convi
