“Why I said I’m not responsible is because my friend was the one who helped me. My friend is a powerful figure in Dimvale City. I called him for help then asked him for a favor and he granted me the favor.” Landon answered.

He said the truth but he covered it with a lie. He had told them that it was because of him Armstrong was demoted but it was not by his power. The reason it happened was because he had a powerful friend.

“Is it the same friend you told me about in the car?” Kara asked with curiosity as she tried to cover Landon's ass about the car not being his.

“Yes.”
