“Tricia!”

Landon screamed in pain.

It was not so hard for a baby to notice that his scream was one of pain from his soul.

Landon was still finding it hard to believe his eyes.

Didn’t Tricia say she was sick? Then why is she here?! She had told him that she’s sick but she’s currently here sucking on someone else’s crotch! And, it was not just someone’s crotch but his hated enemy’s crotch! There’s no mistake in what he had just seen?!

“Tricia! What are you doing?!” Landon screamed at the top of his lungs in anger!

His mind was already lost to anger. It has been six months now since he started dating Tricia but he hasn’t gotten even a kiss from her.

Seeing her doing such a thing as sucking on Xander’s crotch made him extremely angry! Such a thought was enough to drive him insane that he had to doubt if this was an illusion or imaginary but his anger got the best of him!

“Landon!…w-why are you here?…” Tricia, who was a beauty adverted his gaze as she tried to cover herself up because she was in such a nude state.

“Are you mad?! I’m supposed to be asking you that! I thought you were sick so what are you doing here?!” Landon roared once more.

“Hahahahaha.”

However, wild laughter simply broke the atmosphere. It was Xander!

“Oh, Landon, Landon, Landon. I have to say the expression on your face right now is really the best.” Xander smiled as he zipped his pants. “You have just made my day! What better way to enjoy my win in the basketball team than this?”

Landon could only watch helplessly as Xander looked at him with a mocking smile.

“W-why are you doing this?..” Landon asked helplessly.

Xander was everything he was not. He had the money and the power to do anything in the Cradle Valley University. He was the heir to the Taylor family’s wealth, one of the richest families in Dimvale city. He had the whole world at his feet. But why?…just why?…. Xander could have any other girl he wants on the campus but why Tricia?!

Xander chuckled after hearing Landon's question. “Isn’t it obvious! It’s because you are poor! Isn’t it a waste that a beautiful girl like Tricia is dating you? I don’t know but she’s better off sucking my c*ck than dating you.”

“You bastard!” At this point, Landon finally lost it.

He dashed toward Xander and started punching without showing any signs of stopping.

Landon was so enraged that he kept beating Xander but not more than a few seconds longer he felt a terrible pain at the back of his head that made him feel dizzy.

The burly man who had opened door for him had just punched the back of his skull.

“You Pauper! How dare you hit me?! Not even my parents hit me but you have the guts to attack me?! You will pay for this!” Xander screamed looking disheveled.

“Shut up! If you know you are a man why don’t you face me one on one?!” Landon screamed as he was dragged back and thrown away by the burly man in the first room.

“I am a man! That’s why I’m going to show you the difference between a man and a dog! As a capable man, I have people to do my dirty jobs for me! But who are you?! You are the most miserable pauper in the entire Cradle Valley University! Do you think you can compare to me?! No, you can’t! You are just nothing but a nobody and you will pay for what you just did! Scorpion beat him till he’s a black and blue!”

The burly man nodded and immediately got on top of Landon as he assaulted Landon with enough blows without feeling any need to stop!

“Xander Please…Stop! He might die and it will cause us trouble!” Tricia voiced out.

She was really afraid that Landon would die and the last thing she wanted was to be involved in any kind of murder case.

Xander thought about it and had to admit that Tricia was right but not because of the reason she had given. He felt that leaving Landon to die would be too easy. Instead, Landon should live knowing that his girlfriend had sucked his crotch and he can’t do anything about it.

“Scorpion let him go!” Xander ordered in an ecstatic voice.

Scorpion who was enjoying giving Landon a beat of his life suddenly stopped and got off Landon.

At this point, Landon was now so bruised that he was unrecognizable.

His swelled reddened eyes looked at Tracy as his weak voice rang out. “Why…?”

At this point, Tracy felt so guilty so she avoided his gaze and voiced out.

“What Landon?! what?! What are you asking why?! You don’t expect me to be actually dating you for real?! Wait…Wait…did you ever think we were dating?! You can’t afford my needs Landon so what made you take our friendship we had seriously!”

Landon was completely perplexed.

Is this actually Tricia? He still can’t believe Tricia is doing this to him. He has done everything for Tricia since he started dating her. One of the main reasons he can’t absolutely refuse to lose his arduous Pizza delivery job was because of her!

Since he started dating Tricia it was as if he added one more mouth to himself to feed. Not willing to lose face is the reason he was still enduring his pizza delivery job which makes him feel like a slave.

What did he not do?! Everything she asked he always tried to provide by his working ass off but what did she do to repay him? Cheat on him! She not only cheated on him but still had the guts to mock him!

“…Is this how you repay me?” At this point, Landon was in so much pain that speaking was even harder for him.

“Repay you?” Tricia frowned in disdain. “Landon King I owe you nothing! The reason you are like this is because you are just too poor! You are too poor and weak! Blame yourself for your situation and not me!”

Landon was so heartbroken at this moment but he was beaten to the extent he could barely do anything.

“Hahaha Scorpion dump this guy in the trash backyard and also you know what to do after that.”

“Yes, young master!” Scorpion said as he dragged Landon through the floor like a piece of trash, leaving a trace of blood on the tiles.

A few minutes later, Landon was thrown like a piece of trash in the Alley bin inside a dark alleyway a few distance from the hotel.

It was already nightfall at this moment, so Xander’s bodyguard could easily get away from the scene without being detected.

Landon could not fight back as he was thrown into a filled-to-the-brim alley bin.

The stench of dirt around him was the last thing that made him very miserable. He was absolutely in a miserable daze.

‘Why was I born like this?’

Born poor…? Just why…Even with his misfortune of being born as a poor orphan. Even with this bad luck, he has always believed that he will rise up to a point where he won’t be looked down on someday…however, today has really affected his self-belief badly…

Will he ever be able to get to what he’s striving for at this rate?…

All this is because he’s poor….With money, all his problems will be solved. Money! That is what he needs.

Landon looked up lying on the alley bin that had been filled to the brim with dirt to see an eerie black bird looking at him on top of one of the buildings.

What a life…other people were the heir to a large fortune but the only thing he inherited from his unknown biological parents was just this ring.

Landon caressed the ring in his left hand with his bloodied fingers! Not that he hated his biological parents due to his current situation but he wished they were in his life because that way he might have gotten a fighting chance at life.

In a world where the poor can be treated like trash, he absolutely has no power to fight back.

He looked at the blackbird, staring deep into its eyes, and as if the bird got scared, it leaped to fly away but something odd happened…

‘What?!’

The bird was already flying but the rate at which it was flapping its wing was just too slow! It was almost as if time had slowed down.

“This will do…You will do Landon…”

A voice suddenly caught Landon off guard, causing him to shudder in a frantic manner.

Landon quickly looked at the corner of the alleyway to see the figure of a young man standing in the dark alleyway.

“Ah! Who are you?!”

Although he could barely make out the identity of the mysterious fellow due to the darkness in the alleyway but there was something that frightened him the most.

The figure inside the darkness had eyes that were shining brightly with crimson color, making him know that there was definitely someone there but whether this person was human or not was another thing else.

“What…?” Landon’s eyes became widened when he saw the figure of a person stepped out of the darkness and walked towards him.

Landon was sure that it was a person standing right in front of him but the problem was he could barely make out a face or anything that would tell him if this person was a human or not…

Standing before him was just a male crimson colored silhouette, that seemed to be vibrating.

At this point Landon felt so scared that he wanted to scream in fright.

The Silhouette wave his hand casually before Landon could scream and the result of that single action was quite extraordinary….Landon could not scream even if he wanted to…it was almost as if his body was not his…

“Why don’t we talk first Landon?” The voice of the crimson silhouette broke through his ears as it sent a tremendous shockwave throughout his entire body.

It was almost as if hearing the silhouette words felt like a huge burden.

“Who…are you?..” Landon was shocked when this question left his mouth even when he could not scream.

The silhouette gave him a feeling like it smiled and then the both of them engaged in a conversation for a few minutes.

After their conversation the Crimson silhouette poked Landon in the head with his index finger, causing Landon to fall abruptly asleep.

The crimson male silhouette stood still and looked at Landon like it was lost in a reverie.

Right at that moment, Landon’s opened injuries and bruises healed at a fast rate. There was no longer even a trace of injuries anymore!
