Chapter 159, Final Round.

Malik didn’t hesitate. As the ghoul loomed over him in the stairwell, he ducked low and rolled between its legs, bolting down the steps. The ghoul snarled and gave chase, its massive body crashing through the railing as it lunged after him.

Malik hit the next floor and didn’t stop he sprinted straight for the nearest window and leaped out, landing hard on a closed garbage bin before dropping to the street below. The impact sent a jolt of pain through his legs, but he forced himself to keep moving.

Behind him, the ghoul landed with a thunderous crash, cracking the pavement beneath its weight. Malik dashed into a nearby parking lot, weaving between cars, flipping over hoods, using every obstacle to slow the creature down.

The ghoul smashed through vehicles like they were made of paper, its claws tearing metal apart. Malik spotted an opening, he vaulted onto the roof of a car, then launched himself at the ghoul, delivering a brutal kick across its face with all his strength.
