There's No Bright Spot

In the car, Ali discusses with his team about the bodies they saw with missing toes.  They believe that the perpetrator of this murder is the same person who killed Candra, Azara's father.

"I'm sure this culprit is deliberately playing tricks on us right now with a very difficult puzzle to solve," Arya told her team.

"Now we should go back to the office while waiting for the forensic team to finish examining this case," said Ali to his men.

"Where are Azka and Azara? How come they can't be seen?"  asked Angga who was looking around looking for the whereabouts of his two colleagues.

"I'm ordering them to check the CCTV around the scene," said Ali.

"Is there a CCTV in a river area like that? This location is also rarely passed by humans," said Arya, raising an eyebrow.

"That's why I asked Azka to check it. He will look for the slightest evidence."

That afternoon the sun was so hot.

Azka and Azara began to search CCTV around the river where the body was found.

But there is no sign of CCTV installed nearby.

Azka started to give up, his sweat started pouring down his handsome face.

"Drink it!"  said Azara giving a bottle of mineral water to Azka.

 "Yes, thanks."

Arya immediately gulped the water along with Azara.  Seen around the river the street is very quiet.  There are no houses there.

Seeing Azara's dripping sweat, Azka gave her handkerchief to Azara.

"Use it! Wipe your sweat off! Don't worry, it's still clean. I haven't had time to use it yet," said Azka assuring Azara.

Azara smiled then accepted the handkerchief.

"Thank you. But it feels weird you can be nice to me."

Azka was silent without answering Azara's words again.

Ever since Azara entered this team, Azka was indeed the first to oppose him.  However he had no other choice as this was already an order from the higher-ups.

They also continued their journey in the river area to get evidence that the perpetrators might have left behind.

They walked a very long road.

But that doesn't make them give up.  Sweat was pouring down again on Azara's forehead.  Walk from end to end to find clues they can turn to evidence.  But their efforts seemed in vain without fruit.

"Aarrrgghh damn!"  Azka shouted loudly.  Making Azara who was standing behind Azka was surprised.

'Where are you damn killer?  Making such a difficult puzzle like this?'  Azka muttered in his heart.

Azka's voice was heard by Azara.

Azara patted Azka's shoulder and tried to calm Azka's emotions and bring her spirit back again.

"My father used to say that every criminal will be caught if the police apply 3S," said Azara, now walking beside Azka.

 "What is 3S?"

"Spirit, spirit, and spirit!"  replied Azara while smiling sweetly facing Azka.

"We must remain enthusiastic, no matter what happens. Remember our duty as police officers to eradicate all crimes," continued Azara, even though she himself was tired because the perpetrators of her father's murder had not yet come to light.

"It's not that I'm not enthusiastic, but the culprit is very smart. So I'm very tired of working on this case," said Azka with stumbling footsteps.

"He's just lucky. I don't know what made him so lucky as he is now," said Azara who had the biggest grudge against the perpetrator.

"Probably. But I'll make sure I get to the bottom of even a mouse hole. I won't let that psychopath roam out there."

They continued walking along the river area.  Unexpectedly, Azara found excavated soil that had piled up like a hill.  Then he called Azka to look at the land.

Azka ran and stopped in front of the red dirt mound.

"Look! This seems new," said Azara looking into Azka's eyes.

Azka nodded and immediately took off his jacket.

"Let me dig with my hands."

Azka immediately crouched down and started digging the ground with both hands.

"I'll help you," said Azara, squatting down and digging the mound with his smooth hands.

In front of the police station building.

Rama appears to be standing waiting for Azara to arrive there.  Rama is very worried about Azara's condition because of Candra's departure in such a tragic way.

Especially lately Azara is very difficult to contact, making Azara's co-worker who has had a long-standing love for Azara even more anxious.

Not long after, Azka's car arrived.  He gets down from the car along with Azara.

Seeing Azara coming with another man, made Rama burn with jealousy.

"Azara ..." shouted Rama waving his hand to greet Azara.

Azara smiled as he walked over to Rama.

"Hey... What are you doing here?"  asked Azara patting Rama on the shoulder.

Before Azara could introduce Azka to Rama, Rama had already left them with a flat face.

"Me first," said Azka, walking away just like that.

 "So arrogant," Rama muttered quietly.

"Actually, he's good," said Azara, glancing at Azka, who had already left him.

"What's going on here?"  asked Azara inviting Rama to sit in the canteen.

"You are very difficult to contact. I'm worried about your condition."

"I'm still busy looking for the culprit," said Azara with a sad face mixed with tiredness.

"Still haven't found the light yet?"

Azara shook her head.  She did not want to tell the results of all her team's searches so far because it was a secret that should not be divulged to anyone.

In the hospital

Lisa took Mike to the hospital cafeteria during recess.

"Why you invite me for coffee in the cafeteria. Surely there is something you want to talk about, huh?"  Mike asked, sipping his coffee.

"I just wanted to ask you for advice."

 "What's wrong? Tell me!"

"If later I was selected to attend a seminar for two months in America. Should I go?"

 "What do you weigh?"

"I'm worried about Azara if I have to go and leave her at home alone."

"Azara is an adult. After all, she's already a police officer. She'll definitely be able to take care of himself."

Azara does live alone with Candra, her father.  Her mother died while bringing him into this world.

Since her mother's departure, Lisa has served as a surrogate mother for Azara.  Even though Lisa's love is unrequited for Candra because Candra still doesn't want to remarry since the death of his wife.

Their closeness is like a child and a biological mother.  Especially since Candra's death, Lisa is the only person who accompanies Azara at home.  Lisa doesn't have the heart to leave Azara alone because she has to carry out assignments abroad.
