Chapter One Hundred and Thirty Nine

Marco kept smiling all through the class, he had no idea why he was happy or giddy.

He just found himself smiling for no reason. The bell rang and Marco packed his books and headed to his locker.

Kelvin wasn’t in school today but Marco figured he would be eating lunch alone today.

Marco jumped as his locker slammed shut.

He looked to the side to see Chris glaring at him, Marco sighed. He was getting bored.

“Resorted to stalking, have we?” he asked.

Chris just kept glaring at him.

Marco looked at Chris with boredom in his eyes, his lips pulled into a sneer as he told Chris,

"This is beginning to get boring. It looks like you have nothing else to do."

Chris, already irritated, shot back, "Well, maybe if you were charming enough, I would have left you alone."

The atmosphere was heavy with tension, and Marco's boredom seemed to amplify the weight of the silence.

He kept waiting for Chris to do something but he just kept looking at him with disdain.
