"Johann, we have to get out of here right now or we're going to go completely bankrupt and die poor!"
Freya grabbed Johann's arm with incredibly powerful force. She didn't wait for an answer. Johann, still reeling from the pressure of Viktor's shadow magic, was immediately pulled toward a giant ventilation hole covered by thick iron.
"Buy a thrusting power!" Freya shouted, pointing at the iron door.
Without asking much, Johann closed his eyes and pressed the buy menu in his vision.

Instantly, a wave of golden energy exploded from Johann's palm. The ventilation iron, hard as steel, shattered into dust. The two of them jumped out just as the shadow monster lunged at them. They tumbled onto the cold asphalt of the deserted street behind the building.
"Damn, that almost took my life!" Johann stood up, gasping for air. His work clothes were in tatters, leaving a collar barely hanging on and the smell of sweat mixed with the ozone scent of lingering magic.
Freya stood beside him, her breathing steady, though slightly winded. She brushed the dust off her tight black leather outfit. Her appearance was a stark contrast to Johann, who looked like a mess.
"You're really strange," Freya said, looking Johann up and down. "You have trillions of dollars, the power to blow up buildings, yet you're still wearing that smelly floor cleaner's uniform. Change your clothes, or you'll die from the cold."
"I don't have any other clothes!" Johann snapped back.
Freya chuckled, her laughter sounding very sexy and condescending at the same time. She stepped closer, her finger touching Johann's chest gently. The touch made Johann's skin crawl with intense shivers.
"In that case, let's go buy something fitting for a millionaire like yourself," Freya said, pulling Johann by the hand toward the main thoroughfare.
The two of them walked quickly through the city's dark alleys. Freya led Johann to a luxury restaurant hidden behind soundproof glass walls. It was a favorite haunt for corporate elites conducting secret transactions. Johann felt completely out of place in such a lavish setting, given his wretched state.
"I can't go in there looking like this," Johann whispered hesitantly.
"Shut up and follow me," Freya commanded.
As soon as they entered, a waiter in a pristine tuxedo approached them. Freya didn't give the man a chance to protest. She immediately ordered the most private table in the corner. After they sat down, Freya stared at Johann intensely. She didn't order food; she only ordered two glasses of incredibly expensive aged whiskey.
"Now, explain," Freya said. She crossed her long legs elegantly. "Where did that money come from? Did you sell your soul to the stock market devil?"
Johann stared at his glass. "I'm just a cleaner. Yesterday, I was mopping the floor in Viktor's office and suddenly that golden screen appeared. I don't know anything, Freya."
Freya leaned forward. The scent of her expensive perfume filled Johann's senses. "Listen, Johann. In this world, money is blood. If you have a balance that high, you're a target. Everyone from the mafia to corrupt CEOs will be gunning for your head. I don't care if you're being honest or not, but as long as you have that money, I'll protect you. In exchange, I want you to buy me whatever I want."
Johann swallowed hard. "Anything?"
"Yes," Freya replied with a mischievous smirk.
Johann, beginning to feel intoxicated by adrenaline and desire, looked at the digital menu tablet. Without a second thought, he hit the order button for everything on the menu.
"Waiter!" Johann shouted, pointing at the screen. "Order every single item on this list. Now!"
The waiter's eyes widened, then he nodded with extreme politeness. Within minutes, their table was laden with delicious dishes Johann had never even imagined before. Massive lobsters, the highest quality Wagyu beef, and caviar that cost more than his annual salary.
"You're absolutely insane," Freya murmured, laughing freely. "But I like this madness."
The tension between them began to thaw. Johann, who had initially felt intimidated, now started to feel comfortable. He watched Freya eat gracefully yet wildly. There was a powerful aura of dominance surrounding her, and for some reason, Johann loved it.
"You're beautiful when you laugh," Johann blurted out instinctively.
Freya paused. She looked deep into Johann's eyes. The atmosphere at the table, which had started as an interrogation, turned intensely sensual. Freya rose from her seat and walked slowly toward Johann’s side. She leaned down, her face inches from his ear.
"You're a sweet cleaner," Freya whispered. "But don't expect to win my heart with just expensive food."
"I'm not trying to win your heart," Johann replied in a husky voice. "I just feel that in this horrible world, you're the only thing that feels real."
Freya touched Johann's chin, forcing him to meet her sharp green eyes. Suddenly, Freya heard a commotion at the restaurant entrance. Viktor's guards had tracked them down.
"Damn it," Freya cursed. "They found us faster than I expected."
"What should we do?" Johann started to panic, his hand moving toward the purchase menu in his vision.
Freya gave Johann no time to think. She pulled him into her embrace and pressed her lips against his with intense passion. Johann was startled, but he returned the kiss fervently. The kiss wasn't just a flirtation; it was a tactic. Behind Johann's back, Freya signaled the waiter to lock the restaurant doors.
"Close your eyes and don't stop kissing me," Freya whispered between their kisses.
Johann obeyed. He gripped Freya's waist possessively, letting himself get lost in the sensation of her touch. Behind the curtains shielding their table, Viktor's guards approached, assuming they were just a couple lost in their own world.
"Excuse me, sir and ma'am, you need to leave immediately," one of the guards said in a threatening tone.
Freya slowly broke the kiss, staring at the guard with a cold, lethal gaze. She didn't let go of Johann. Instead, she reached into Johann's pocket, taking the access card that had automatically appeared in his system to pay for the entire restaurant and security fees.
"Get out of here, or I'll make sure you don't see the sun rise tomorrow," Freya said in a calm yet incredibly dangerous voice.
The guard hesitated. He looked at Johann, who was now staring back with a much calmer gaze than before. Johann felt his Wealth Core vibrate, emitting an aura of intimidation that made the guards drop to their knees for no apparent reason.
"What did you do to them?" Freya asked in amazement as she watched the guards begin to tremble in fear.
Johann didn't answer. Instead, he pulled Freya closer, looking at her with feelings far deeper than mere physical attraction. He was in love. He was in love with the courage, the wildness, and the danger that Freya brought.
"Let's get out of here," Johann whispered.
But just as they were about to step out, the heavy thud of combat boots echoed throughout the room. Viktor Reinhardt emerged from the shadows, bringing an aura of darkness that caused the restaurant lights to dim instantly.
"A lovely dinner, Johann," Viktor said with a terrifying smile. "Too bad the bill is going to be much more expensive than you can afford."

First Confrontation with Viktor
Freya was stunned. Her heart hammered so hard it felt suffocating. The man at the peak of the dome had the face of the Johann she loved, but his gaze was empty, as cold as ice untouched by the sun. Behind the seal of light imprisoning the real Johann, the man struggled. The face of the true Johann looked full of pain and longing, a contrast that made Freya want to blow everything up immediately."Johann!" Freya screamed. Her voice was hoarse, breaking with overflowing emotion. She didn't care about the fake figure up there. Her focus was only on her lover locked within the energy prison. The fake Johann tilted his head. He showed no signs of recognition. Instead, he raised his hand, and the air around Freya suddenly thickened. The pressure was so intense that Freya's knees hit the ground."He is no longer yours," the man's voice rang out, but there was a strange echo accompanying it, as if a thousand other voices were speaking through his vocal cords.Viktor Reinhardt emerged from beh
The Ritual of Money and Magic
The man stepped out of the forest's darkness with a calm yet threatening stride. He was Elias, Johann’s former colleague from the logistics department who had been declared dead in an elevator accident three months ago. His face was deathly pale, with prominent purple veins bulging around his temples. He no longer looked like the man who used to share his lunch with Johann. Now, he wore a tattered corporate supervisor's uniform and was surrounded by a hissing aura of energy."Elias? How is this possible?" Johann shouted, his eyes widening. His heart pounded so hard it felt painful behind his ribs. He gripped Freya’s hand tighter until his knuckles turned white.Elias only gave a thin smile. The smile felt wrong because there was no joy in it. He flicked his fingers, and the horde behind him—consisting of mutated former janitorial staff—began to move forward with horrifying, jerky movements. "This world never truly allows someone to leave easily, Johann. They took my soul and turned it
Operation Rescue Freya
The grinder roared like a starving beast. Johann twisted his body in mid-air, his scarred hands clutching the sharp iron along the corridor walls. A loud thud echoed as his boots hit the steel surface, but he didn't stop. He climbed upward, refusing to become mincemeat inside the company's torture device. He gasped for air, the smell of oil and hot iron brutally assaulting his senses."Dammit! I’m not going to die in this giant washing machine!" he shouted, kicking one of the grinder blades until it dented.Suddenly, the thunder of a helicopter split the air above the building. The sound of giant rotors ripped through the concrete roof, sending a rain of debris into the engine room. Johann looked up, his eyes narrowing against the swirling dust. A rope ladder dangled down from the belly of a helicopter that looked luxurious yet was riddled with bullet holes. At the end of that ladder, Freya hung on with one hand, her face burning with rage. She fired her pistol at the guard drones try
Bloody Board Meeting
Johann and Freya plummeted into a darkness that felt cold and sharp as a razor. The wind roared in their ears. They fell in an embrace, with Freya wrapping her arms around Johann's neck to ensure they weren't separated. Johann closed his eyes tight. He felt as if he were being sucked into an endless drain of reality.Suddenly, a violent jolt sent them slamming onto a hard marble floor. Johann groaned as his back felt like it was about to break. He rolled to the side and found himself in the middle of a vast room. Pale blue neon lights glowed on the walls. This was the board of directors' meeting room in the Reinhardt Corp building. Johann recognized this luxury carpet. The faint scent of the floor cleaner he used to use still lingered in the corners of the room."Get up, Johann!" Freya was already standing in a defensive position. She checked her weapon, but her face soured. "My gun is dead. The magic in this place is completely suppressed."Johann stood up unsteadily. He straightened
Intense Night at a Five-Star Hotel
"Do not press that button," the voice echoed again, this time feeling like an ancient vibration crawling up from the base of Johann's spine.Johann was transfixed. His fingertip hovered a few millimeters from the surface of the blue-glowing credit card. In front of him, the Auditor woman took a step back. Her once-cold face turned deathly pale. She no longer cared about Freya lying on the floor; her attention was fixed on something behind Johann's shoulder."Who are you?" Johann asked again. His voice cracked, filled with deep anxiety. Before the mysterious voice could answer, the bullet from the sniper in the building across the street erupted. The sound broke the silence of the night like a giant whip. Johann didn't have time to dodge. However, instead of piercing his flesh, the bullet stopped in mid-air right in front of his face, locked within a transparent energy bubble he had never seen before."Too slow," whispered a heavy voice.Johann turned his head. Freya still had her eyes
Attack on the Tiny Apartment
Johann frowned. He stood up with great difficulty, his bones feeling as if they had just been struck by a sledgehammer. Beside him, Freya remains on high alert, her hand instinctively searching for a weapon that had already run out of ammo. Johann's cramped apartment was now nothing more than ruins of broken concrete. Thick dust danced under the beam of the flashlights held by those strangers in black suits."Who are you?" Johann asked hoarsely. He tried to stand tall even though his body was still trembling from the side effects of the ancient artifact. "And what do you mean by the first test?"The woman in the sunglasses did not answer immediately. She signaled with her hand, and two of her subordinates moved forward with the precision of a machine. They did not attack.Instead, they began picking up the remaining debris of corporate magic scattered across the floor. Their movements were systematic, efficient, and highly professional."We are the Auditors," the woman replied briefly
