Sea Ring

"Ah-!!!" The young constable, seeing this for the first time, fell to the ground in fear, his high pitched scream cutting through the night sky of the city hall and drawing in the others.

Zachary, however, couldn't care less about the chaos of the bureau, and  he clutched the yellow talisman, a treasure hunt  he knew all too well, the glazed box that once held the nine parts of Khalil Hobbs's body, hidden away on a rainy night in the mountains of Ushant, and poured out into the madness that is him impermanence and insanity.

It had taken him years to slowly climb out of the overgrown mud - at least superficially - and stop worrying those around him, but those behind him were afraid that  he would be too good to be true, grabbing the hem of him orange-red dress and tugging it down to help him remember what it was like to be parted from him bitterness and hatred. .
