Chap 2: Seraphina Charlotte

"wake up" 

A voice of a woman filled with coldness and indifference have called out to me, I have always been a light sleeper so even the most tiniest noise can wake me up.

I sat up, my body feeling weird, I caught my reflection in the mirror sitting on the bedside table, An old western style bed, sky blue painted walls and a white thick blanket, Before I could turn back to the mirror my attention caught yet another surprise.

"Your awake, good, The viscount is coming here today for his annual monthly visit, get dressed" A woman who had the beauty far more superior then my mother's, oceanic blue hair and blue eyes who stared at me with nothing but disgust.

After saying that she didn't even turned back before walking out of the room, leaving me in utter silence, grabbing the mirror from the bedside table and there I saw an unfamiliar yet familiar face...

The same oceanic blue hair that reaches my mid-back and red ruby eyes, white flawless skin....

Seraphina Charlotte....

I got transmigrated into the mob character of a novel.

The very same person that I can relate to, I got reborn to be yet again being another puppet.

Seraphina have the beauty that can cause downfall in this kingdom, the reader in the media said that her beauty can rival or even surpass the beauty of the heroine and villainess combined..

But she wasn't blessed with anything other than a talent for swords and a beautiful face who rarely got seen, The background of her story was only briefly narrated in one of the capture targets past story which she took a huge part in..

Daichi Charlotte one of the capture targets to the heroine, It all started out when seraphina's mother entered the house of Charlotte as a maid,

Viscount Sean Charlotte and his wife loved each other dearly, they love soon bared a fruit to a bundle of joy--daichi, like his name that means 'great first son or great first born' the family of three lived happily, but until Sapphire Reese decided to end that story by drugging the viscount and conceiving seraphina.

From a lowly maid, sapphire reese rose to the position of a concubine, even though polygamy is common in this era viscount Charlotte promised to his wife that she will be the only woman that he will love for eternity but with seraphina's existing in this world and constantly reminding the two of them that the promise is broken, viscountess Charlotte have filed a divorce with her husband as she couldn't bare to see another woman and her child living under the same roof as her, viscount Charlotte uttered no response as he knew that it was his fault why this happened, The ex-viscountess retired to the country side and with the first wife gone, the managing of the house inside and out fell to Sapphire's hands as she had expected.

Daichi Charlotte which is seraphina's  half-older brother started to hate her very existence for she and her mother was the one who destroyed his family.

But little did anyone know that seraphina was also a victim in this story, Her mother treated her as a tool--a puppet that only knew how to obey orders and don't mouth out a complain.

In the original plot seraphina was the villainess shadow guard, she let her do the dirty work while she kept her hands clean and didn't have to do any illegal work at all.

Seraphina was known as the viscount's illegitimate daughter from an outside mistress..

After changing into a gown I proceeded to where the common room is, while walking there I started to recognize my identity as Seraphina Charlotte...

Seraphina's mother or better yet MY mother started to recite to me a whole list of rules and her number one rule 'don't cause me any trouble' I only kept a poker face on while listening to her endless mumbles.

"His lord, viscount Charlotte have arrived" the Chamberlain announced as the double door opened wide and two figure strolled inside the room, one with a clean and neat looking blue tunic with his brown chestnut colored hair and red ruby eyes similar to mine---Viscount Sean Charlotte and the other one behind him is Daichi Charlotte, Black ash wood hair and red ruby eyes, I guess the house of Charlotte's signature is there red eyes.

"Concubine greets master and young master" my mother bowed and smiled "seraphina greets father and older brother, I hope you a good health" I said, I kept my gaze low and didn't dare met their eyes as I know the viscount has the same emotions inside his eyes same as the one in my mother and daichi, they had hatred and disgust inside of them toward me.

I turned a blind eye toward all of it, In truth seraphina was only a child that is hungry for love, Asking for attention from everyone yet no one gave it to her or much less showed it to her.
