The Chosen Six

Test 3

Derrick ran towards the nearest building he could see, his mind were a mess 'what have I gotten myself into, is this the end for me' 

Derrick was panting and running and came into a small building, the inside wasn't large but it was still empty, just a few boxes that was inside, it was like it was used for a store room.

'I was so proud of gaining a scholarship into one of the best schools in city Z, only to find out that I have entered into a life and death situation' Derrick mind was running amok, he looked around aimlessly only to pick up the boxes that were lying around and using them to block the doors, he sat behind the door resting his back behind all the boxes he had placed shivering.

Meanwhile Ivy and Lily were together, they ran towards an empty small building only to find two Roaches inside the building, Ivy took two red balls out of her bag and immediately  threw them towards both Roaches, immediately they caught fire, they both incinerated and turned into ash.

"Ahh ahh ahh, calm down self calm down self, how did you do that?" Lily asked smiling

Ughh sigh, Ivy sighed after looking at Lily "I thought you were the curious one, how could you not look into your bag and found out what was inside, you were busy looking at the show put on by Carter and those drivers, who knows if Carter and all the rest were dead" Ivy said indignant, she was only with Lily because the latter chose to run after her when they were all splitting, Ivy saw Lily as unnecessary garbage, she glanced at her watch only to see that is only about 25minutes has passed.

"Oh the bags let me check mine" Lily said with a goofy smile on her face, Ivy just sighed and started looking around the building, they were in, it seems like they were in a room for sleeping, they were two beds and a wardrobe.

They couldn't stay here for long, the door was wooden and could easily be broken into, the only thing they could use block the door was the bed, and Ivy shook her head 'the two of us can't raise the bed to block the entrance of the door, our only option is to find another building to get into'

"Are you through reading the instructions and how to use the balls, am only left with one fire ball, we would be counting on you now" Ivy said towards Lily who only nodded her head.

"We can't stay here for long, we could be ambushed by a bigger monster if we stay here  for too long, I for one don't want to meet that mammoth of a monster" Ivy said, she looked dead serious and she looked like she would abandon Lily anytime if she were to drag her down.

"We will leave in 5 minutes time" Ivy said towards Lily, she was the one in control now but Lily was observing the situation it was too quiet.

"Ivy we need to leave here now" Lily said and ran out of the building, Ivy was confused before eventually leaving the building, immediately she left a giant tusks grab the building raising it and throwing it away destroying the building almost instantly.

"Runnnnn" Ivy screamed behind Lily, for the first time, she was extremely scared if she was a second late she would have died in that building, if the tusk didn't impale her, the smashing of the building would have surely killed her.

The remaining trio were still in the clocktower observing what was going on, the appearance of the mammoth scared the shit out of all of them, the size of the mammoth alone was enough to give you chills.

"what the hell is this? are we really gonna die here? even if we survive the one hour what is guarantee that this whole charade will end" Freya said feeling a bit frightened, the memory of her being pushed towards the Goger was still fresh in her mind and the fear of death has started to creep in.

"Don't worry we would survive, if they wanted us dead they wouldn't have given us each the bags to protect ourselves so don't worry we would be fine" Nicholas started assuring Freya, this brought a little smile that haven't been seen since the beginning in her face, which soften her scary demeanor.

"I am sorry to burst the bubble of both of you but we have company" Carter screamed, does Carter like screaming I wonder, there were two Roaches approaching in a very high speed they were flying towards them.

"Carter immediately bring out your red ball and throw it towards one of them" Nicholas immediately replied to Carter while he was looking for his red ball too and immediately threw at one of the incoming Roach due to it's large size, it immediately caught fire and turned to harsh, Carter threw his fire ball but due to fear and his shaking hands he missed the Roach and the fire ball fell to the ground burning any monster that was caught unlucky there.

"Damn it, can't you aim properly" Freya said towards Carter looking at him with disdain, as she was saying such to Carter she was throwing a black ball towards the approaching Roach which was immediately stun it lost it's flight and fell to the floor.

This attracted other monsters, the stunned Roach couldn't move, it was uncertain if it was dead or alive.

The noise and the smell of the burnt monster attracted other monsters and the mammoth spotted them from afar.

"Holy shit we are screwed" Carter whispered.
