“Hello excuse me” He called and the banker tore her gaze away from the monitor.
Kaidon noticed she was observing him with a scorn on her face.
“What do you want?” She asked, still eyeing him up and down.
Kaidon dropped his credit card on the table for the woman to see. “I wish to check my balance” He said.
“And what does a broke man like you know about money?” She asked and hissed also waving her hand in dismissal.
Kaidon did not understand why everyone needs to look at his appearance to determine if he was rich or not.
A man shoved him away and came to stand infront of the banker.
“Hey.” He called but the man paid no attention.
He walked over to the man and tapped him on the shoulder once again. “Can you watch where you are going?” Kaidon asked.
“Benita, since when did your bank start allowing retards into its premises”
His question take Kaidon by surprised. He turned his eyes to Benita who had a frown on her face staring at him.
“I am sorry sir. I will ask the security man to take this thing out of here” She said and reached out to her telephone.
“Call Mr. Richard “ The system suggested.
Kaidon checked his contact list and he is surprised by the fact that Richard name appears to be the first out of the many names in the contact.
As Benita is dialing the security, Kaidon is called Richards and he picked immediately.
“Hello?”
“Hey uh…I don’t know if you recognize my voice but this is the guy in your company earlier today” Kaidon narrated.
“The one with Agent 43?” Richard asked.
“Yes, I need your help” Kaidon revealed, seeing that Benita had cut the call. “I need you to buy off a bank under my name. I will text you the name of the bank and I hope you will do it”
After he hang up, the door open and several security profiles approached Kaidon. They try to grab hold of him, but Kaidon refused.
“Touch me one more time and I will make you all loose your job” He warned but none could take his threat seriously.
He checked his phone and realized Richard had sent him a message.
‘Done deal’
Kaidon smiled looking up at the security men and turning his attention to Benita.
“You are fired” He said and Benita laughed at him.
“And you are delusional” She replied.
The elevator door opens and Kaidon noticed Benita got up to her feet the moment a strange looking man came to the counter.
“I need you to get your things ready, we are leaving” The man revealed.
“I don’t understand sir” Benita replied.
Kaidon walked towards the man and noticed the frown on his face.
“Don’t get it twisted, the bank you sold belongs to me. I am Kaidon” He revealed and the man’s frown turned into a shock.
“Do not listen to him sir, he is delusional” Benita revealed.
“Send me the receipts of the transaction” Kaidon informed the system.
Few minutes later, he checked his phone and it was there displayed on the screen. He showed it over to the man, whose eyes widened further.
“I am really sorry for the harsh treatment sir. The board of directors will be waiting for your first ever address immediately”
Kaidon turned his attention to Benita, who had a look of worry on her face and he cracked a smile.
“I want her out of this place at once. She is not fit to be a worker here” Kaidon declared.
Shocked, Benita fall to her knees pleading for mercy, but Kaidon refused knowing that she will continue to have the same habit and no one is going to care about it.
“Tell the board of directors that I will come and see them whenever I have the chance” He replied before walking out of the bank.
Kaidon take in a deep breath. How quickly things are easy to change and right now he knew that nothing is going to stop him.
“Now that you have gotten your credit card. You will be given seventy two hours to play a game and for every of these games that you win, a cheat code from the system will be unlocked for you” The system revealed.
Going into a game sounded scary for Kaidon.
Even though he had unlimited money, it has come with a price and now he has to live with the price.
“What type of game?”
“Be rest assured, your game will come but it is my duty as your system to direct you before the game. You will not hear from me when the game starts” The system reveals.
“And what if I loose?” Kaidon asked.
“For every game you loose, there is a huge money to be lost. If you are to loose all your game, you are going to loose everything that you ever worked for” The system replied.
Kaidon think through for a moment, He is stuck in a game and the small taste of wealth that he felt, he was not ready to give it up for anything in the world.
“And when do I start this game?” Kaidon asked.
“The game has already started”
In that moment his phone rings and he checked to see that it was Richard calling up on the phone.
“You have the opportunity of becoming a CEO in a couple of days to come” Richard suggested.
“What are you talking about?” He asked.
“One of my biggest rivals in the corporate world has gone bankrupt. I would have bought off his stocks, but I have a business coming up. For you to gain more power and relevance you need to buy it off”
Kaidon thought about it for a moment.
“Who is the owner of this company?” He asked.
“Mr. Williams Armstrong”
The name ring a bell in Kaidon’s ear. For a moment he tried recalling where he had heard the name and it suddenly clicked.
Mr. Williams is the father of his ex girlfriend, Ophelia.
“I will buy the stock” He announced.

Ophelia walked around Gideon’s room panicking after receiving the news about her father going bankrupt.“You need to relax babe. Everything will be fine.” Gideon assured her and walked over to her side, placing his hand on her shoulder.“Everything cannot be alright. My father going bankrupt means that we are going to live in the slums” “No,” He said, holding her shoulder and staring deep into her eyes. “You are not going to be living in the slum.” He paused for a moment as an idea came to his mind.“Tell you what, I think we could find an investor to finance your father’s company and get it back to the way it used to be” He suggested.“But how are we going to make that possible?” Ophelia asked.“Well, my father is out of the country at the moment. I will tell his personal assistant to find an investor” He assured.Ophelia embraced him in a warm hug and they remained in that position for a long period of time.
