CHAPTER SIX

When he arrived at the VIP room, an old aged man walked sat down with a document on the table. 

“And who are you?” 

Kiadon already knew the man was Mr. Williams and it was no surprise that he looks down on him with a look of disdain.

“Is that how you talk to your investor?” He asked, taking his sit right next to William whose face showed shock.

“You are the investor?” He asked.

“Are we going to get down to business or should I close up the deal?” Kaidon asked, already getting impatient with the man’s insufferable behavior.

“Fine, show me a proof that this is not some sort of scam” Williams insisted.

Kaidon was about to pull out his credit card, when Ophelia and Gideon walked inside the room. They both froze seeing Kaidon with Mr. Williams.

“Father what are you doing with this poor and wretched individual?” She asked taking her sit beside her father.

“He says he is the one that wants to buy off my company” 

There is a brief silence in the room and it is followed up by a heavy laughter between Gideon and Ophelia.

“I cannot believe you will carry your deceptive nature to this place. How were you allowed into the VIP room” Ophelia asked.

All through their antics, Kaidon remained calm. He had chosen not to say a word because of what he could possibly do. He had also been told by Richards to learn to keep a low profile and that is what he is doing.

“Since the both of you are laughing and you father doesn’t believe I am capable of buying the stocks of your company, then I will just take my leave” 

Kaidon got up from the couch and approached the door, but his path is blocked immediately bby Gideon.

“Not so fast…” He said.”It is obvious you stole someone’s identity before getting here.” He turned to Ophelia. 

“Babe, call the security men” He said.

“You don’t want to do this Gideon” He warned but Gideon scoffed and waved his hand in dismissal.

Few moments later the security men arrived at the scene.

Kaidon pulls out his phone and text Richard. He wanted the man to help him with a specific job.

“We want you to take a look at this man’s identity in the roll book. If he is not there then he should be walked out of the room and seriously dealt with.” Ophelia informed the security men.

As the security men approached, one of them had their phone buzzing in his pocket and he picked it up.

“Hold on!” He ordered the rest and everyone turned their attention to him. “We just received a call from the CEO of Rex Conglomeret he claims that he is responsible for the presence of this man” He said pointing towards Kaidon.

Kaidon smiled inwardly seeing the frustrated look on their faces. 

“Mr. Richards sent me down here for this contract but since you both think I am not capable of handling it, I will be on my way” 

As he is walking out of the room, he hears Williams and Ophelia desperately calling out his name.

Even though things had not quite gone out the way they used to be, Kaidon was glad that he atleast proved a point.

Later that night as Kaidon is enjoying his lone time in the bathroom, his phone begins to ring. It was Richard’s number.

“I don’t know how you are going to handle this but….” He begins to speak with a reassuring tone, “You have to be very careful. Even though you have the unlimited card and also the Agent 43 system program, the enemy is still lurking”

Kaidon paid close attention to every word. There was no doubt that he had fear written all over his face. The money was certainly not enough and now he has to be carefull.

“There are those within the elites that are not happy with the idea that your system program has resurfaced. They will do everything to get it, which is why you must always learn to protect it” 

Kaidon take a deep breath as Richard’s words continue to hit him.

“While you are at the club, I received a message” He said.

“What is the substance of this message?” He asked.

“We cannot discuss over the phone. We should meet tomorrow at a coffee shop down your street” He suggested and Kaidon accepts the idea.

The moment the phone hung up, Kaidon dipped himself further into the bathtub salvaging the energy running through the course of his body 

Kaidon realized its been long since the system last spoke to him and he begins to ponder over when it could talk to him about his other tasks.

The next day, Kaidon was on his way to the coffee shop but before he enters Kaidon encounters Richard’s security men. 

“I am sorry sir but you are not allowed in here” He said.

“Something must be wrong with your brain” Kaidon mentioned, already tired of everyone trying to bully him.

“This coffee shop has a targeted audience and unfortunately, you are not the right person for this place”

Kaidon is livid. He felt disappointed that even Richard’s security men would do this to him. He was standing in the middle of the biggest coffee shop in the city and everyone is watching them.

“You look undress and too broke to be here. You should find another place to stay” He said, staring at Kaidon’s causal dress.

“Do you know me?” He asked, trying to be defensive with a hint of frustration laced in his tone.

“From your look I can tell that you are one of these desperate cheap men that prey on rich people to extort them money. So do yourself this favor and find somewhere else” 

Annoyed, Kaidon picked up his phone to call Richard but he did not pick up. He tried again and when Richard picked up, Kaidon snapped.

“Your men are out here harassing me. I think you should speak to them” He said and hands over the phone to the security man.

After a few second on the phone, the security man hands it back to Kaidon.

“I am sorry for my action sir” He begins to apologize but Kaidon would have none of it.

“I will come back for you” He said and walked inside the coffee shop.
