Chapter 1

"Aiden! Look, I found out that you've corrupted $10,000 of company funds, how dare you!" Maria, the secretary of Gina, looked at Aiden with anger in front of her and threw the document on the table.

"Me, corrupted?" Aiden was confused by secretary’s accusation.

"But since the CEO is a tolerant person, she'll give you a chance, sign the divorce papers, then we won't call the police and you can leave," The secretary changed her face, continued with an arrogant look.

Aiden frowned, but soon he understood. Even though he knew full well that it was Gina's brother who corrupted the $10,000.

He looked at secretary, replied calmly, "secretary, tell Gina that if she wants to divorce me, she shouldn't use such a cheap and nasty plan."

The secretary sneered, “Stop talking nonsense, Aiden. We both know that you don’t deserve Gina anymore, why can’t you be nice and sign that agreement?”

"Gina will now get $100,000,000 financing from Hamilton family . If you were smart, you would have left her. You're not very suitable to be with her."

Aiden sneered, he sat on the couch and said with a cold voice, “I think you’re the one who should stop talking nonsense. If Gina wants me to sign, I’m OK with that. But on the premise that she tells me in person.”

At that moment, the door opened and the figure being talked about came in, Gina walked in with a cold face and looked at Aiden sarcastically.

She sighed harshly, "Yes, Aiden. Divorcing with you is my idea. Now you heard that, so just sign that paper, don't be an embarrassment!"

Hearing those words, Aiden smiled wryly and said, "Why?" To the girl in front of him.

“You don’t know what I want, Aiden. We’re not from the same world, you could never understand me.” Gina said.

Aiden looked at Gina calmly, “Then tell me, what do you want, Gina?”

Gina didn’t reply, she just took out a card, threw it on the desk. “1 million dollars, just sign that paper, and I wouldn’t call the police about your corruption.” She said without any feeling.

Aiden smiled wryly, “That’s your strategy, Gina? Carrot and stick? You think the relationship between us could be measured with money?”

“Then what you want? Tell me, I could satisfy you if it’s not too much.” Gina said calmly.

“I don’t understand, Gina. Maybe I should ask you too. What do you want? Wealth? Power? Are they so important to you?” Aiden asked with confusion.

"Aiden, even if I told you what I want, you can't give them to me. I want to be the queen of business in this city, this province, in this state, even this country. Do you understand?!"

The girl sighed harshly. "And you're the guy who's not making any progress at all, and yes you're a hindrance to my business, Aiden!"

Gina readjusted her breathing, a look of hatred and disgust now cast as if looking at a filthy animal.

"You think that? You think I'm a burden on your business?" Aiden looked at Gina, he was so disappointed on her.

Gina remained silent and didn't answer at all, only focusing on making eye gestures for Aiden to sign the divorce papers.

"A poor man like him, how useless." The secretary sneered, she thought Aiden was just being unreasonable.

"He never contributed to our company, but only corrupted. Gina, you’re so kind, if I were you, I’d call the police and put him into the jail." The secretary complained.

"You should have divorced Gina sooner! Our company would have a 100 million dollars of financing, and you? Could you just make 100 dollars on your own?” The secretary was very vicious.

Aiden looked at the secretary coldly, “We all know who is the real one that corrupted, so stop pretending.”

The secretary was terrified by Aiden’s eyes, she always thought he was a coward, but how could his eyes so scary?

Aiden took a deep breath, he asked, “I heard you’ve been contacting frequently with Steven, that playboy of Jovic family. Is that the reason?”

Gina laughed, “Since you’ve known it, I won’t hide. Yes, Steven helped me to get that financing from Hamilton family, and Jovic family was the top family in the city. I would benefit a lot if I married him.”

“But you? I got nothing from our marriage, Aiden.” Gina’s words were so hurting.

"Just sign it!" The secretary shouted.

“I see, that’s why, you thought it was Steven who helped you, interesting...” Aiden smiled wryly, Jovic family was just a piece of cake to Hamilton’s family, they had no right to speak in front of him.

It was Aiden, he helped Gina to get that financing!

But would she believe him?

Aiden smiled wryly, it was impossible. He was a useless loser to her, she wouldn’t buy a single word from him.

“OK then, I understand. We don’t have any thing to talk about anymore.”

“But I hope you won’t regret for it, Gina.” Aiden said calmly.

Speaking of that, Aiden signed his name on the divorce agreement without any hesitation.
