After transforming the entire kingdom, Haru looked at the palace.
Even though the kingdom was beautiful now, the palace was still dark inside. It still carried the memories of the old Demon King. "I need to transform this palace too," Haru said to himself. He closed his eyes and raised his hands. A wave of warm, golden light spread through every corner of the palace. The transformation began. The dark, bloody walls turned into clean white marble. The broken floors became shining wood. The palace, which once felt like a tomb, now felt like a real home. The palace now had everything. It had a large guest room with a soft sofa, a beautiful dining room with a long table, a modern kitchen full of light, and a very beautiful garden filled with roses and magical butterflies. The old meeting room had become a beautiful, bright hall with a crystal chandelier. And most importantly, there were now many bedrooms. There were bedrooms for the servants, for the ministers, for the General, and for all the council members. He also prepared a special, beautiful room just for Vane. He wanted them all to stay with him in the palace. He didn't want to be alone anymore. When it was done, Vane came to see him. He was shocked to see so many new rooms. "My king, why so many rooms?" Vane asked. Haru smiled. "Because I want you all to stay in the palace with me. Like a family." Then he took Vane's hand and showed him his room. Vane opened the door and froze. It was a large, beautiful room with a soft bed, a desk, and a window that looked out at the whole kingdom. It even had his favorite black flowers on the table. Vane's eyes filled with tears. "You... you prepared a room for me too, my king?" "Yes," Haru said. "This is your room, Vane." Vane started crying. He couldn't hold back his emotions. He thought to himself, He loves me. He has truly changed. He has become a completely different person. I will never betray him. I will protect him with my life and never let anyone hurt my king. For the first time in many years, Vane smiled — a real, happy smile. Then Haru said, "Vane, please call the council again. I have a very important meeting." Vane wiped his tears and left to call the council. At The Meeting Everyone was waiting in the hall for Haru to come. When Haru arrived, they were all shocked again, because the meeting room had changed into such a beautiful hall. When Haru walked in and sat on his chair, the General said respectfully, "What do you want to discuss, my king?" Haru looked at all of them and said with a warm smile, "From today, you will all stay at the palace. I have prepared a room for each and every one of you." They were all shocked. "What, my king? You prepared a room for all of us?" one minister asked. "Yes," Haru said. But the General didn't accept at first. He had a worried look on his face. He said, "My king, I can't stay at the palace. I have a wife and two kids at home. How can I leave them? How can I accept this? What about my kids and my wife?" Haru smiled gently. He understood. "I know, General," he said. "I already prepared a big room for you. You can bring your wife and your kids and stay together here. Also... I love kids. I want to look after them." Haru said this because when he looked at the General's family, he remembered his own little brother and sister from his old world. He missed them. The General was completely shocked. His eyes filled with tears. "My king... you love all of us. You prepared a room for all of us, even for the council. We will never forget your kindness," he said, crying. All the council members were moved. They knelt down together. "From today, we will protect you with our lives, my king, because you have changed so much," they said. Haru shook his head and smiled. "It's not kindness. It is my duty and my responsibility to take care of my people." When the meeting was over, he showed them their rooms. They were all shocked because they had never seen such beautiful rooms in their lives. They accepted with pure happiness and went to their new rooms. Only the General went back to his home to bring his wife and kids to the palace. When he reached home, he was still crying. His wife was shocked to see him like that. She ran to him and comforted him. "What happened, my dear? Why are you crying?" The General hugged her and told her everything about how the Demon King had changed. "First, I hated him because he was so cruel, and I even wanted to kill him," he said. "But now he has changed completely. He respects me. His words were so kind and honest. Did you know he prepared rooms for all of us to stay in the palace? And he told me to bring you and the kids to stay together in the palace!" His wife was shocked when she heard that. She started crying too. "I have only ever heard his name, I never saw his face," she said. "He transformed this entire kingdom into something new. He has brought peace to all of us. At first, we were all so scared of him, and now we love and respect him. I want to see him and thank him with my own eyes." The General nodded. "I will protect him with all my heart from now on." Their two kids were very happy when they heard they would stay in the palace. "We will call him Uncle Haru!" they shouted happily. The General laughed. Then they ate breakfast together and went to sleep, excited for tomorrow. The Next Morning The next morning, the General brought his family to the palace. Haru was waiting at the main gate to welcome them — his wife and his two kids. When the wife and kids saw Haru, they were shocked. They expected a scary monster, but in front of them was a beautiful boy with small horns and a cute smile. Haru welcomed them warmly. The General's wife bowed and cried, "Thank you for your kindness, my king." Haru laughed and smiled. "Don't say that. It's my job to take care of you." He then looked at the kids, and his heart felt warm because he remembered his own siblings. The kids looked up at him and said shyly, "Uncle Haru..." Haru knelt down to their height and said softly, "Don't call me uncle. Call me big brother. From today, I will become your big brother, okay?" The kids were so happy. They ran and hugged him tightly, shouting, "Big brother! Big brother!" Haru smiled, and they smiled too. Then he showed them their room. They were shocked because it was so beautiful and big. It had a large bed and beautiful curtains. The General was surprised. His wife said, "This is only our room? What about our kids? Where will they sleep?" Haru smiled and said, "Don't worry," and he opened the next door. It was the kids' room. They were completely shocked. It was full of toys, storybooks, and two beautiful small beds shaped like clouds. The room was colorful and magical. The children laughed and ran inside. "Big bro, this is our room? Really our room?" "Yes, all yours," Haru said. They were running around the big room, laughing and playing. The General had tears in his eyes. "Thank you, Haru. Thank you so much." The kids also thanked him. "Thank you, big brother!" They said to Haru, "Big bro, can we bring our friends to play with us in the palace?" Haru smiled. "Yes, of course. Bring all your friends." After that day, they all lived in the palace together. Sometimes the General's kids brought their friends to the palace — both demon kids and human kids. They laughed and played together in the garden, and they all admired the Demon King because he loved them so much. Sometimes the kids would sit in the garden and talk. "Do you remember? At first we were so scared of him and we hated each other," one human kid said. "And now we have become best friends," a demon kid replied, and they all smiled. The General's kids said proudly, "We all love our big brother Haru." They all laughed together. From his balcony, the General heard all that they were talking about. He smiled with tears in his eyes. He whispered, "My king, you brought peace and made all of us equal. From today, I swear, I will protect you with all my life." To Be Continued...Latest Chapter

You can stay happily in this kingdom for as long as you want."And they said, "Thank you, my king. We will stay for 2 days and then we will return."Haru smiled warmly.
