Chapter 46

I sat quietly waiting for Cynrad to wake up, it had been an hour since we returned to the human world. I took a deep breath and looked at the sky that sparkled with so many stars.

I failed. I failed to talk to Arae, I failed to help Pavel.

"I shouldn't have fought her." I whispered to myself. I shook my head. I did the right thing, she thinks too highly of herself, it's not because she's a powerful creature that I won't let her down. I am still Ksara, one of the princesses of the underworld and holder of the fourth circle.
