Chapter 6
Author: Oldwell
The Dragon Head?

Elias and Brianne glanced at each other in shock upon hearing that name. Of course, they knew who he was and how influential he was in the city’s underground dealings. But what was he doing here of all places?

“Welcome him inside right now!” Elias ordered. Yes, he was the richest man in the city, but he still couldn’t risk offending Anthony Mark, given his position.

“Just in time. Maybe your friend knows the Dragon Head, hm?” Brianne mocked Remus once more. Most of the prisoners from Neptuna were disciples of the Dragon Head’s guild, after all. Remus’ friends might even turn tail upon seeing his boss!

“Heh,” was Remus’ response. It pissed Brianne off to no end. Even Elias ground his teeth for a bit after hearing that. They were going to enjoy seeing the Dragon Head put him in his place.

Just then, Mr. Anderson led Anthony in. Elias immediately greeted him with a smile. “Lady Luck has graced us with your presence, Mr. Dragon Head.”

“Welcome, sir,” Brianne greeted warmly.

Anthony nodded with a smile and was about to say something when Remus piped up.

“Don’t talk to them. They disgust me.” He wrinkled his nose. “This place smells rotten, too. Get the car started. I want to leave ASAP.”

Both Bowens were taken aback by his words. How dare he…

“Yes, sir. I’ll have the car running right away,” Anthony instantly responded, ducking down slightly in respect. He went up to Remus’ side with an umbrella in hand, ready to escort him out the door.

Before they crossed the threshold, Remus paused and said, “Don’t think too highly of yourselves. You’re nothing to me.” Then, he finally left.

Elias and Brianne were left gaping, stunned. Their scalps began to prickle with the realization that Anthony had come to pick Remus up.

So Remus Cosby was superior to the Dragon Head himself?!

“D-dear, who exactly is this Remus guy?” Brianne asked, frightened. She was already regretting how she had spoken to the young man.

“I don’t know!” Elias exclaimed. What was happening? Why was Anthony Mark, the Dragon Head himself, bowing down to Remus Cosby? What kind of titan was that young man?!

They gave each other a knowing glance before racing to their daughter’s room.

“Do you need me to deal with Elias Bowen, Mr. Cosby?” Anthony offered. According to his Temple Lord’s instructions, he needed to serve this man well.

One word of assent from Remus, and they would do the necessary.

Remus looked out the window. “Nah.” He wouldn’t be seeing the Bowen family any time soon once he left Neptuna.

“Alright. Where are we headed now, sir?”

According to Remus’ original plan, he would find a place to sleep for the night. He could wait a few days for Jean Lotus to come to Neptuna and cancel their engagement then.

Not at a hotel, though.

“I’ll tell you later. Drive first,” Remus said. He called up the chief warden from Underhill Prison to ask about local homestays to stay in for a couple of days.

He was quickly informed that someone in the prison owned a large penthouse in the city called the Imperial Villa. That person was called the Working Emperor, and he was a man who had committed tax fraud.

“Tax fraud…” Remus sighed and shook his head. It was one of the lowest levels of crime in Underhill Prison, making the Working Emperor less than what Draculus Magna’s Temple Lord was worth.

Remus had the warden make sure the man wouldn’t be bothered in prison throughout the next month.

They soon reached the neighborhood in Mount Imperia. There were over thirty villas in total, with Imperial Villa sitting at the peak of the mountain. It had a stunning view of the entire city.

Remus had Anthony leave after dropping him off. He entered the villa with a password provided to him and sized the place up.

It was lavishly decorated; antiques were artistically scattered here and there as if they weren’t worth anything. Remus thought he might be in a faux museum.

“Hm?” Something caught his attention. It was the sound of water quietly running.

He glanced upstairs at the source of the sound, then sniffed the air. Instantly, he slumped over in defeat.

A woman was in the house right now.

Remus guessed the Working Emperor might’ve arranged for her to be here for his pleasure.

He didn’t really appreciate it, to be honest.

He sat on the couch, waiting for her to finish washing up and leave. She smelled like she was still a virgin…but his master had said he shouldn’t hand his first time to just anyone.

Remus quietly prayed his master would come back soon. He would finish canceling the remaining six marriages and go back to wait for him in prison.

Just then, the woman came out onto the landing. Remus turned to look just in time to find her gazing at him, hair still wet from the shower. She was beautiful and sexy, but what was most eye-catching was the fact that she didn’t have anything on.

The moment Remus realized this, he jerked his head away.

“Please put something on. You can leave after.”

The woman’s face flushed red when she heard that. A dangerous glint flared in her eyes, but she turned to go back into her room a second later.

Remus heaved a sigh when he heard her walk away. She might’ve been tasked to accompany him, but coming out fully naked was still a pretty bold move. What if someone else was in the house right now?

After some time, the woman stepped out again, now clad in a wine-red nightgown. She was oozing sensuality.

Remus frowned. “Why are you dressed for bed? I don’t need your services, so please leave right away.”

That glint reappeared in the woman’s eyes, though she swiftly masked it with an amorous smile.

“You say no, yet your body doesn’t lie,” she purred as she walked downstairs.

Remus glanced down instantly and noticed what she was talking about. He wanted to bury himself in a hole but tried to stay composed. This was his first time being exposed to such an experience; it was a normal reaction.

“Enough with the chit-chat. Now, leave!”

“But I live here…” The woman came up to him, eyes hooded. “You don’t need my services, but I might… You haven’t been with a woman, have you, little guy? Why don’t I show you, hm?”

Remus gazed at her incredulously. “You live here?”

Individually, their cries weren't very loud, but together, they were piercingly loud.Francis and Tyson looked at them at the same time.Francis said, "You've raised children before, so you have experience with them. I'm leaving them to you."Tyson remained seated on the stone bed, watching the children, and he softly started to sing a lullaby. His voice was just right, and the lyrics were gentle and soothing. Before long, the children stopped crying and soon fell asleep. He used to lull Remus to sleep this way, and now, he was doing the same for Remus' children. They waited until the children were in a deep slumber before Tyson asked, "Is there still a way?"He was referring to Amez invading Darsia and whether they could

Hearing Francis' words, everyone was momentarily stunned before surprise flashed across their expressions.Thinking back on it, Francis indeed never said he would kill these children. However, considering his hatred for Remus, it seemed very likely that he intended to get rid of them. So, what was he trying to say?Francis heaved a sigh, and his fierceness from before faded as he slowly said, "I am indeed angry with Remus, but it's only directed at him. I am also angry with you, but that's because you were in the wrong."These children should not exist in the Three Realms, but since they have been born, there's no helping it. No matter how ruthless I am, I wouldn't go as far as to harm ten newborn children."Besides, Darsia is already on the brink of collapse. Even if I don't kill them, they might not survive much longer. With that being the case, there's even less reason for me to kill them."Hearing that, the others still wore some lingering doubts on their faces, but Roman and
