Chapter 18

It was another day for Eduard going to his father’s company. It was still early in the morning and as soon as he entered the building, he was greeted by the employees.

His eyebrows knitted together because he knew that they were not yet informed who he was and what was his role in the company.

“Good morning, Sir,” they greeted him one after the other with smiles on their faces.

“Good morning,” he said as he nodded his head.

“Good morning, sir,” Abby greeted him as well when he passed by the reception.

It had been a couple of days since he took her with him to meet Donovan and Isabella.

Eduard just smiled and then went on his way. He could not explain the feeling he had at that moment. It was the first time that he felt proud. Before people would always look down at him because he was either an illegitimate child or because his mother was called a whore.
