The car was moving towards a huge wall. A boy looked out of the window only to see it in front of him.
“Sir, will I be staying at this place?”The car driver heard the question but only looked in the rearview mirror toward him coldly. Then he thought of something.
“You better forget what you were in the city. Here you are just a soldier. If you want to survive here, follow the instructions.”Hearing the words, he could only sigh about his luck.
His name was Alex. When he was 12 years old, he received the memories of his past life on a world called Earth. In his previous life, he had an accident which left him in a coma for five years, but finally, God showed mercy to him and then he died.
The present world where he was reborn is called Blue Star. At the beginning, he didn’t think there were many differences between the two worlds.
But as he started to grow up, he knew this world wasn’t simple. It was still ruled by royal families. The world was more advanced in technology, and people practiced martial arts, though very few were powerful enough.
However, there was a pact between royal families that no countries would interfere with each other. They had even founded a human council to control their entire world. Even other kingdoms ruled by powerful warriors rarely fought among themselves. Why the pact was made, nobody knew. As for him, he was the son of the King of the Roshar kingdom.
The Roshar kingdom could be placed among the top five kingdoms on the planet, with extremely powerful allies, but this had nothing to do with him from now on.
He had been exiled from the kingdom when rebellion situations occurred. He didn’t even know the whole story, but he could only remember that he was sleeping in his palace when the royal guard came to arrest him. They didn't even let him know what had happened, but his father declared him guilty before he could even learn the whole story.
As punishment, he was sent to an army barracks where he was trained for six months, but he didn’t know to which army he was to be sent. He only knew that the army trained in his barracks was supposed to work for the human council, but he never knew anything about the enemy the human council faced. Very few people knew about the council army's actual work. His elder brothers were involved in the army, so they had some ideas.
But when they heard the punishment he received, even they were scared. Looking at their expressions, he knew where he was sent might be very dangerous.
“What a hell of a life. In my first life, I stayed in a coma for more than five years before my death. In this life, I don't even know how my death will appear.”
Thinking of his fate, Alex could only shake his head and smile.
When the car driver saw Alex shaking his head and smiling, there was a sudden change in his face, but he quickly returned to his own stoic expression.
Just when Alex was in his own thoughts, the car stopped.
Alex looked toward the place where the car had stopped; he didn't even know there were any barracks nearby. But looking at the uniforms, he recognized they must be the human council army.“Looks like I was thrown into something more dangerous. This is why my brothers were scared when they heard my punishment.”
Alex was about to get out of the car when he heard the driver’s voice.
“The king has a message for you. Don’t die too early and damage the reputation of the royal family.”Hearing the message, Alex was sure that his father knew he would die.
Alex knew his strength was only that of a 2nd-rank warrior, but he didn’t understand who felt threatened by his low-level strength.Alex laughed at his fate, then walked out of the car.
He looked at the officers coming toward him. Then he heard a voice.“A new recruit came, but why did they send a single person? Don’t they know we need more people right now?”Then he looked toward the two officers approaching him.
Another officer spoke to his colleague.
“Who knows? Maybe this recruit is the off-the-books kind.”Just when he was about to speak more, he heard a cold voice from behind them.
“Speak carefully, or you will be sent to the front line.”Hearing the words, the officer shuddered and turned toward the voice.
“Sorry, Lieutenant. It won't happen again.”Alex looked at the female officer who had scared the two officers with just a word. He knew she must be here to take him to the barracks.
The lady officer looked at Alex.
“You, follow me.”Alex quietly followed her without saying a word. He looked at the barracks carefully but saw very few people there.
“You should be clear about one thing. After you join the council army, you do not have permission to leave the base without authority. If you think about leaving the army, that is even less likely to happen. If you think your family can change the decision, you can forget about it. Those who come here are never allowed to return without completing their full term.”
The officer looked toward him, then spoke again.
“You better forget what you were in the outside world and understand that you are entering a ruthless world where morals and ethics have no place. As far as you are concerned, you are just a soldier.”The officer stopped in front of a huge gate, then scanned her fingerprint and retina, which opened the door.
Alex looked at the huge gate. He thought he was going to some secret base, but he never understood why such a huge base was created. What were they fighting?
“Recruit.”Hearing the cold word, Alex looked at the officer who was already far ahead.
He quickly ran toward her.“This is your first mistake, so I will let you off the hook, but if it happens again, I will show you what discipline means.”
Alex nodded, admitting his mistake. This time he followed her without getting distracted.
The officer brought him inside an office where a middle-aged man was reviewing details.
The female officer looked at the middle-aged officer and saluted in a military manner.
“Sir, I brought the new recruit.”The middle-aged officer looked toward the officer first, then toward Alex.
He picked up a phone to make a call. After a few seconds, a young officer entered the room and saluted both the female officer and the middle-aged officer.“General.”
The middle-aged officer looked at the young officer.
“Take him to the logistics unit. He will be working under them.”Alex was taken by the young officer. Then the general turned toward the female lieutenant.
“Keep an eye on him. He was implicated in the rebellion in the Roshar kingdom.”Hearing the words, the female lieutenant looked at the general with slight surprise.
“Looking at his situation, he doesn't seem to understand anything about this world.”The general nodded, agreeing.
“Yes, he might be a pawn used by the real culprit, but by sending him here, the Roshar king might also be sending a warning to the real culprit.”The lieutenant looked at the general.
“So he was punished without any reason.”The general shook his head.
“This matter doesn't affect us anyway, so why bother with their internal affairs? Just be careful with this guy. He might also be the real culprit; no one can be sure. If he is the real culprit, then he might be a ticking time bomb.”The lieutenant nodded. Just when she was about to leave, she heard his voice again.
“Let him work in the logistics unit for a while. Make sure he doesn't meet anyone from his kingdom. If his behavior is satisfactory, we can consider moving him to other departments.”“Yes, General.” The female officer saluted the general and left the office.
The general’s eyes turned toward the screen where every detail of Alex was displayed, from the day he was arrested to his time in the training barracks.
“Royal families are really troublesome. If the President could destroy the royal families, I wouldn't have to deal with this kind of useless prince and princess. They're not even worth saving.”
Just when he was about to close the screen, he received a call.
“Hello. Yes, sir, I will look into it.”The general then slammed his phone.
“Damnit.”He pressed the siren.
Alex had been taken to the logistics unit, where he met the lieutenant of his unit.
“So they finally gave us a new member. Good at least it will decrease the workload, though only one is still very few.”Then he looked toward Alex.
“What's your name, recruit?”Alex stood straight.
“Alex, Sir.”The lieutenant got up from his position and looked at him.
“Recruit, here only rank matters. You will call me Lieutenant from now on. Prepare for your training starting tomorrow morning.”Hearing this, Alex nodded.
“Yes, Lieutenant.”The lieutenant looked toward Alex, then said,
“My name is Andrew White. You can call me Lieutenant Andrew. Now tell me your strength so I can place you in a group that matches it.”Alex heard the words and explained his details.
“Lieutenant, my strength is middle-stage 2nd rank.”Lieutenant Andrew looked at Alex with a different expression. After all, with that strength and his age of around 21, he should have been able to reach at least the 6th rank as a warrior. But they sent him into the army—though he didn’t feel surprised, since there were weird people all over the world.
“Your strength is still too low. That must be why the general sent you to our department.”
He pressed a bell, and a soldier appeared.
“Go call Sergeant Wyatt.” Then he looked toward Alex. “Fill out your details on this form.”Alex took the form and began to fill in details about himself.

The months blurred together after that first Immortal kill.Alex hunted across the deeper wilderness, seeking out Immortal realm monsters wherever they lurked. Each battle was a test of his new strength, each victory a step closer to the Beast God trial. He fought a corrupted wyvern whose wings blotted out the sun, its venom melting the stone where it fell, its death adding another 150,000 attribute points to his growing total. He fought a pack of shadow wolves that moved between dimensions, their attacks coming from angles that shouldn't exist, their coordination forcing him to push his space law to new levels of precision. He fought a stone giant that had slept for a thousand years, its body covered in moss and ancient runes, its awakening shaking the mountains for miles around. And with every battle, he grew stronger.Name: Alex RosharStar Force: Immortal realmLife Gene Level: 4500Talent: Fire (SSS-level), Water (S-level 1/48), Wood (S-level 1/48), Jade Body (SSS-level), Light
First Immortal
Five days after his encounter with the serpent, Alex found the lion.It was a creature made of molten stone, its mane crackling with flames that shifted from red to orange to white-hot. It stood at the edge of a volcanic crater, basking in the heat that rose from the depths, and when Alex crested the ridge overlooking the crater, it turned its massive head and looked directly at him.“Immortal realm. Early stage. But still Immortal.”Alex drew his sword. The blade was a masterwork, forged by Alena's best smiths and enhanced with his own fire law. It gleamed in the volcanic light, hungry for battle. He had been waiting for this moment for months for the first true test of his new strength, the first Immortal realm monster he would face as a Law realm cultivator."You are small," the lion rumbled. Its voice was like grinding boulders, deep and resonant. "But you carry great power. I can feel it in you. You are more than you appear. Why do you hunt me?""Because I need to be stronger," A
Luminal Court
Energy flooded through Alex like a river breaking through a dam.His star core, which had been dormant at the peak of the Star realm for two years, began to spin. Faster and faster, its rotation pulling in the spiritual energy that saturated the wilderness, drawing it inward, compressing it, transforming it. His Domain started to evolve as he reached the Domain realm but he didn’t stop there but his target this time was to reach the Law realm. He took out the cosmic tube to drink in gulp.Cosmic energy started to expand his domain realm around like a bridge to breakthrough. It took him two days to reach the peak of the Domain realm then he started to put effort toward the Law realm. The laws he had been studying space, fire, life, death coalesced around the core, forming a shell of understanding that was more than physical, more than spiritual. It was conceptual. It was personal. It was the beginning of a domain. The pain was immense. Alex felt his body straining against the transfo
Into the Wilderness
The wilderness zone stretched before Alex like a wound in the world. He had left the palace four months ago with nothing but his sword, his armor, and a determination that bordered on obsession. The Beast God trial was still years away, but Alex knew with the cold certainty of a warrior who had learned to measure his own strength that he wasn't ready. He needed to be stronger. He needed to understand law at a level that couldn't be taught in training halls or university lecture rooms. He needed to push himself to the edge of death and beyond, again and again, until his body and his spirit were forged into something unbreakable. So he had walked into the wilderness, and he had not looked back. The first months were the hardest. Not because of the monsters Alex had been killing monsters since he was a teenager, but because the creatures of the outer zone were manageable for someone of his strength. No, the hardest part was the solitude. Four months without seeing another human face. F
Back to wilderness
While Alex watched the crowds, he returned to the wilderness without anyone letting them know about his whereabouts. Alena starts to build a business empire. The Roshar Group had started as a modest venture with a few shops in the capital selling weapons and armor to the new trainees. But in the six months since the program launched, it had grown into something far more ambitious. Alena had opened stores in every major city across the kingdom, her storefronts recognizable by the Roshar sunburst displayed prominently above the door. Inside, the shelves were stocked with everything a trainee could need: training swords and practice armor for the lower ranks, spiritual energy-infused weapons for the higher ranks, breakthrough elixirs and cultivation resources for those pushing toward the next level. She stood in the flagship store in the capital now, her grey eyes sweeping the sales floor with the practiced assessment of a woman who had learned to see profit margins and potential in e
Second Decree
The royal decree came one month later, broadcast across every screen in the Roshar kingdom simultaneously. In the capital's central square, a massive holographic display shimmered into existence just as the morning sun crested the spires of the palace. The crowd that had gathered and a crowd always gathered now, ever since the first announcement six months ago fell silent as the image of their king resolved into clarity. He sat at his desk, the same desk he had used for the original announcement, his grey eyes looking directly into the camera with an intensity that made every viewer feel as if he were speaking to them alone."Citizens of Roshar," he began, his voice carrying across mountains and valleys, through city streets and country lanes, into every home and tavern and shop where a screen flickered. "Six months ago, we opened our training halls. We gave you the tools to become warriors. We asked you to trust us to believe that the strength we offered was real, and that the threa
