The air felt different when the door closed behind them. They were cut off from the room where Eren had taken his test. Outside, everything looked the same—cold, quiet, covered in thick clouds and Freeman's heavy silence. But something big had changed.

When Eren walked forward, the land acted different around him. There were no shakes or things you could see, but Kira felt it like something huge finally clicking into place after being broken for years.

"You're different now," Kira said, looking at him hard.
